Begin with the end in mind,

See death as the final destination

Someone who long for a rejuvenation of childhood innocent in this world of hypocrisy and irony... Someone who long for a touch of love in this cold and heartless strange land... Like a fallen angel, heaven seems to be so near, yet so far from me... Begin with the end in mind. Think death as the destination, As we edge closer to it everyday I love you

2nd time

this' the second time. how many more?
or maybe there shdn't be any more :)

i am falling in love with Edvard Greig's works, especially From Holberg's Time Op.40.
the passionate music resonates every chord in my heart, and moves every veins in my body

she & he

Random poem of the day: She & He

Her beauty could stun the blind,
Her warmth could melt the frozen heart,
Her intelligence could humble the wise,
Her love could taunt just any man,

Her unassuming grace. Her unpretentious elegance. Her cool equanimity.

God must be feeling particular generous the day she was created,
For her life is an impeccable art.

His look could thrill every plastic surgeon,
His warmth could keep the ice solid,
His intelligence could thwart the best educator,
His love could terrify just any woman

His stubborn persistence. His unbelivable imbecility. His foolish pugnacity.

God must be feeling particular prankish the day he was made,
For his life is an unmistakable joke.

Post-Poem:
What if one day you found that your life is a mirrow of that of the girl in the poem? a masterfully executed art? Would you thank God for that? or would you hate the perfectness of your life?

What if one day you found out that your life is an exact replica of that of the man in the poem? An unmistakable joke. Would you want to finish the joke? or would you wish to undo the prank?

i really dunno

i wun know for sure. juz tell me straight. i dislike speculation. juz yes or no. at least i wld be moving and not hesitating.

end of my first week teaching, and feel rather satisfied. asked my kids to write down some info and also some views. one of the qns i asked is "what do u think of mr.lew?"

and i am gonna keep these papers with me for my entire life. i feel much more happier and touched reading these than reading those bdae or parting cards from my classmates. maybe kids mean what they write in every word, even though they might be too young and kiddish to give judicious and balanced views.

until now, i will still adhere to my principle of giving my students respect and trying to reason with them instead of shouting instructions and scolding them. a lot of my colleagues advised me to do otherwise. But well, i will do it my way as i have always been. i m young new rebellous.

oh america, are u a reality or an unreachable dream?
oh love, are u near or far? real or imagined?
oh peace, do u ever exist?

oh hamlet. oh kurei.

nick of the moment is Life's seriously a serious joke ||HC183||

this is indeed true, coz even I can become a teacher (relief tcher for one month at p. school)

kids can be a real headache. but they are really cute and interesting.

example 1:

kid1: mr.lew, bring us to the computer lab
me : huh? maths lesson go library for what?
kid2: play maple story!
kid1: (cover kid1's mouth) no, no, we are going to use internet to study maths
me : lol

and kids are really straightforward and frank.

example 2:

kid3: wahhh mr.lew v handsome leh
me : nod in agreement (a big wide smile inside =D )
