Smoky shadow makes for a sultry, eye-popping look. Get the perfect "smudge" by drawing a double coat of liner with liquid and pencil on the top of your lid and inside your lower lash line. Smooth a thin coat of petroleum jelly over the lid, close your eyes and squeeze them tight. The pressure will distribute the makeup evenly. Touch up any stray smears with a clean cotton swab and finish with dark, black mascara for the ultimate smolder.

Baby Products Are For Grown Babies Too!

I've been thinking lately about the more "natural" ways in life [i.e. organic food, green friendly homes, clean water, etc]. It may seem like a trend but there's truth to it. Have you ever wondered what the ingredients are in your make-up and beauty products? Yeah, stuff so strong and artificial it'll clean an oven. Research has shown that some of the chemicals found in most of our everyday beauty essentials cause cancer! Hey, open up jar of cucumber melon body balm and lather on the cancer! Sick! Are we all dying to look good, literally? This stuff can give me the creepers. There's no way to avoid it all [we can't buy 100% organic everything all the time] but could we be helping ourselves out by going back to baby basics? I've used 'em and they work great if not better than my "grown-up" girl versions. The ingredient list is shorter and contains more known ingredients. If you'd put it on a baby - heck, put it on yourself!

Here are some baby brands that do the trick for us grown-up girls:
-Pamper's Sensitive Baby Wipes: use 'em to remove makeup. They're hypoallergenic, fragrance free, and a whole lot cheaper than other facial wipes [only 7 cents per wipe]. So are you going to try the wipe's good enough for your baby's bum?

-Big Brave Boo-Boo Balm: use it for your driest of dry skin or in place of those hand sanitizer gels. it'll do the trick and quick because it has coconut oil, antibacterial/fungal/viral ingredients.

-Classic Johson's Baby Shampoo: i used to use this stuff in high school and it worked great! i can't believe i've forgotten about this find. it smells amazing and works great too!

-My Personal Fav, Burt's Bees Baby Powder: it does the trick inbetween washing my hair. it's talc free, smells great, and gives my hair extra body! i love all burt's bees products. they are the closest thing to "safe" products and they smell so yummy! grab some for your lil' baby bee too!

The Bob - boyishly short. pick a bang -side swept, choppy, blunt
Big Curls - roll curling iron from ends to roots (like hot rollers)
Mid Parts - centered in the middle with straight sleek hair
The Pony - low ponies are in (try wrapping the band with hair)

Golden Shadow - shimmery is always better
Rocker - bold bright eye shadow 'played up' with metallics
