Spikes & Studs.

They add a certain edge to every look and I think it is staple for every girl to have at least one of them in their wardrobe. Studded & spiked apparels are always categorized as only worn by punkers and rockers, but if worn properly and not overdoing it, it'll add that sense of personality and UMPH to an outfit.

And what's the best way to add that studded detail to your outfit than wearing a pair of studded shoes!
Definitely an eye catcher and a fashion statement. :D (I'm a very shoe biased person. Just saying.)

all the prettiness

first wrote this on my personal blog, figured it fit perfectly here so why not? :)

These shoes are terribly pretty!
I'd wear them with a white/ivory baby doll dress and prance about, just because it feels so. And then I'd wear them with skinny jeans, an equally pink frilly tube-top and a little leather sling bag for brunch with the girl friends. Perhaps with denim shorts and a pretty brown knit sweater, for that casual date. Or in black leggings, and a black cape coat for that Autumn chic look. If I'm feeling wild for a party I'd wear them with yellow tights (yep!), blue shorts, and a Miss Marc top. Wait, I'll need pink heart-shaped glasses like Miss Marc too!

And here ends my imagination... for now ;)

Korea : Anguk

Yes, I finally overcame my laziness and am writing my first blog post for this blog. That took me long enough. - -

So I'd be constantly blogging about places around Korea, that I think might interest people. I really do hope people will come and read this little space of ours because I swear we will not bore you. But first, I should seriously get used to writing more formally because I freaking sound like some tween acting cool. I promise my writing skills will improve with every blog post so bear with me. :D

Okay back to the point. As you can see (from the title) the place that I'm going to introduce today is a place called Anguk (안국, 安国). It is only 4 stops away from the Seoul Subway Station which is about a 14 minutes ride. It is a pretty popular place among the tourists (though I've never been to this place whenever I join some tour group and I did that about 4 times already? Lousy tour people pfft). BUT it is a tourist attraction because of the cultural museums located there. Besides that, locals also come here often, mostly for the vast selection of coffee shops available at Anguk. There are also a lot of shops selling handmade products, clothes and shoes which are also worth checking out.

Anguk Station Exit 1.

Roadside food stalls which can be seen everywhere.

LOVE THESE STUFF.

One of the roads leading into the main tourists area.

Boutiques.

Vintage shop.

A church.

Famous korean noodle restaurant.
Shop for customizing your own shoes and dresses.
My lunch for the day! This is how a normal korean lunch looks like. Side dishes + Soup + Rice.

More traditional houses.

A coffee shop. And yes it's connected to the traditional house beside it.

Statue above an art gallery.

Art galleries.

LOOK! A woman running on the roof!

Street stall selling handmade wood products.

Cute rings from the shop!

View point for couples. Someday.............I want to go up there too. But seriously, does this mean that single people are not allowed up there? That's mean!

Accessory shop.

Very pretty shoe shop with even prettier shoes inside it.

Sat down for coffee and cake in one of the shops around there. This is a sweet potato cake and I THINK it can only be found in Korea because Koreans love sweet potatoes.

Cafe latte.

Old school wall murals.

Coffee shop in a secluded area.

An owl museum.

Cherry blossoms everywhere! I love spring.

A door full of buttons.

Tiny colorful windmills.

Spot the kitty. :)

A small private museum in the housing area.

One of the various accessory shop you can find while walking around the housing areas.

Pretty interesting accessories.

The perfect definition of Western+Asian fusion. I really love how they can complement each other so well.

Creepy thing in front of a hat shop.

And that's the end of it! Hope it looks interesting enough. Will blog about the shopping districts soon. Wait until I'm not lazy enough to lug my camera out when I go shopping.........
