My Baby is a KINDERGARTNER!!!!
I can't believe my baby is in kindergarten. Where has the time gone?
Things are very quiet at home with all the kiddos in school. Sometimes too quiet.
I hope you have a great year, little buddy! Love You!
(The bandaid on Jakes thumb is from meet the teacher night. In his excitiment, he slammed his thumb in the car door when we got to the school. His thumb nail fell of a few weeks later. EWWW! )

Happy 7th Birthday Zach!
For Zach's birthday he had a special request...French Toast from the Hospital Cafeteria. That was easy! (and payroll deductable!) He also picked to have cash rather then gifts so he can get EXACTLY what he wanted! It was fun seeing him budget his money to get his favorite things!
Happy Birthday Little buddy! Love You! You make my life so fun!

The Thing's Mom's Do...
I can't believe my baby is this old. Oh, how time flies!
Jacob and Mrs. Ramos. I am really going to miss her. She really cared about Jacob. It was so sweet as she said a final goodbye to Jacob she told him she loved him. She says she is going to go visit him in kindergarten. How sweet. That made my eyeballs sweat a little.
Jacob's last preschool dance party .
I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up. My baby. A preschool graduate. UNBELIEVEABLE!
A am a little relieved this year is over. It has been the roughest of my life so far. Having Zach in half day morning kindergarten and Jake in half day afternoon preschool has been, well, challenging. This coupled with working nights has made this year absolutly chaotic. Many days when I shoulda been sleeping I would have to peel myself out of bed after 2 hours, go pick up Zach, get Jake from the babysitter, take them home and quickly get Jake fed and ready for school, take Jake to school, take Zach to co-op and try to get another hour or two of sleep before I have to do the pick up. There were so many days this year that I had to make myself function on 3-4 hours of sleep. My body no likey this at all. This explains why I keep getting sick.
This sleep deprivation I am sure is making me craky. It has also made me have several close calls driving home from work. I know I was being watched over on many of my drives home. It is miraculous to me that I survived without injuring myself or anyone else.
To rub salt into my sleep deprived wounds a co-worker of mine took some ridiculous pictures of me falling asleep whilst charting (I haven't seem them but I hear they are hysterical) and showed them to pretty much all of my co-workers. There is no feeling like the one you get when everyone is laughing at you. If I was in a better, more rested frame of mind I might have been able to laugh with everyone. But I am not well rested. I would like all of the people that got a good chuckle at that to try functioning on my schedule for one week. We will see who is laughing then.
Next year, oh gloriuos next year. All three kids in full day school. My immune system is going to like this!

The best of them. And the worst.
But not the very worst. Those must be burned.
All of my kiddos cousins.
The originals.
The cousins. With Jake smiling.
Um, this must be totally photo-shopped. Unless there is a halo of light surrounding my boys? Wonder what was wrong with the background in the original? WEIRD!
I like to call this one "ABS OF STEEL".
I don't blame you little buddy. If my tummy was this flat I would do the very same thing in our family photos.
I think Jake is about to puke in this picture. I asked him why he made this face and he said he is about to fall.
I hate family pictures. After looking at these I hate them all of the more. There was 350 pictures on the disk. There is an unusual small amount of pictures of my family. I think most of them didn't even make the cut to make it to the disk. The three of my family that made the cut, well, I find them all atrocious. Maybe someday I will cherish these pics. Maybe when I am fatter and older I just may find them completely awesome.
Maybe.
Snuggle Bunnies
Cutest Bunnies at my parents cabin. It was like a hide and seek game finding the baby bunnies in the woods. So fun. Good Memories!
I am sure the bunnies are happy we came home today.
What a great weekend! Thanks Mom and Dad!
P.S. Baby Bunnies. I am concerned for your safety. Please make yourself a more permanent home ASAP before you are an appetizer for a larger, less cute animal. Thank you.

Planning For The Future...
Jaco is pretty sure he wants to be a "sanitation engineer" when he grows up. This kid has me chasing the garbage truck all over the neighborhood. I am pretty sure our garbage man thinks I have a crush on him the way we run out and stare him down. I keep thinking this is a phase that will pass...meanwhile a year later the garbage fascination has only gotten worse. Jake likes to sort the garbage and knows which can to put it in. He had words this morning with our sweet neighbor Joe who puts our garbage cans away for us. "Don't take our gargage! I want to do it." Thanks Jake. Now our garbage cans will sit out all day until your Dad gets home.
Jake has also decided that this is the car our family needs. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the Ford Flex. Specifically, a red Ford Flex. Every time we pass one on the road he yells "Mom, car. I want that car!". Awesome. He has asked me to follow the Flex's around too, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

Jake's "Stairs to Heaven"
So this morning Jake decided he wants to play sidewalk chalk...which I hate doing out front because, well, Jake makes bad choices about running into the street. AND the cars RACE down my street as we are on the main drag of our neighborhood.
But, I give in. Jake busily spends FOREVER (like half an hour, which is FOREVER in the attention span of the Jake-ster). When I ask him what he has made he says "stairs.".
Where do your stairs go? "To Heaven."
Melt my heart.
P.S. This post is worth an update of my playlist songlist! Turn your speakers on!
