So Many Pictures of the Drescher's at Disneyland, you will feel like you were there!

If I wasn't laughing so hard at these pictures, I might be mad at Zachary for all his silly faces during picture taking. I mean it should not be THIS hard to get a decent picture of all of my kids at the same time.

So, this vacation was totally spur of the moment and totally unplanned. A few days before we left I told Zane there was really no good days to go to Disneyland, and I have been DYING to go before the CrAzY summer season hits. Problem being there was no period of a few days that one of us didn't have some prior commitment. So we did the irresponsible thing, and ditched out of our lives for a few days. Sure, we missed a few things like a court of honor, a preschool graduation, a honor choir concert and a few days of work and school...but it was worth it. It was good for Zane and I to have some time together. Our lives have been so chaotic for the past few years, it feels like we hardly see each other. It was nice to be together, just the 5 of us!

We totally surprised our kids with this! Sunday morning the kids woke up and we told them to go get in the car we were headed to Disneyland! So fun! I all ready had the bags packed, so we literally just jumped in the car after we told them! FUN MEMORIES!

The traffic at Disneyland was weird! Monday was swamped, Tues and Weds were dead. Go figure?

This trip Zachary was scared of a lot of the rides. He loved Pirates last year, this year it made him nervous. "Too scary." He of coarse loved Peter Pan, Dumbo, Casey Jr, Midway Mania, Buzz Lightyear. I made a rule that he needed to try every ride I thought he might like once, and if he still did not like it, we would negotiate.

Jake loved every ride he went on, he just did not care for the waiting in line part. He actually did really good. Jacob was just a titch too short for a few rides. Next trip he should be tall enough. I think he would like Soarin' over California and Splash Mountain! Maybe we will get him some lifts for his shoes if hes not 40 inches yet next trip!

Olivia loved all rides, especially the roller coasters. She has no fear. Zane and Olivia went on the California Screamer several times. Zane took the boys back to the hotel room to nap every day, so it gave Olivia and me the chance to enjoy some rides without the boys!

We renewed our annual passes so we are planning a few more Disneyland trips over the next year. Fall break at Disneyland, anyone?

My Two Favorite Pictures!

The FRIENDS building. See Coffee Perk at the bottom!!!!

The Ghostbusters fire station!

Thanks for the great time Kelly and Sherrie! Luv u guys!

Good Memories with Good Friends!

We had heard Empire State building was best to see at night, so we went out last night there. Once we got to the Empire state building we found out that there was "zero visability" We are literally starting in a cloud in this picture! Every once in a while the clouds would break, and we could make out the city lights. It was fun nonetheless. I will never forget it, thats for sure!

Serendipity 3! Yum Yum, frozen Hot Chocolate! It was the cutest funky little restaurant. Thanks for the idea Kelly, we had a great time!

A carriage ride through Central Park. It would have been a blast if it did not start raining on us! It actually was shorter than I expected. I was hoping to see more of the park. Once it started raining I was hoping to see the inside of Bloomies!

Lady Liberty...From a Distance!

We went to Battery Park, ground zero, the 9-11 fire station/memorial to firefighters, and saw the statue of liberty all on a Saturday. Note to self...go on a weekday if you intend to take the ferry out to Ellis Island. Go on the weekend if you want to be assaulted by the illegal purse dealers.)
The line for the ferry was ridiculously long. We estimated it to be over two hours long. So we did what any sane American women would do, we went and bought some "genuine" Coach purses in Battery Park.

Mamma Mia on Broadway!

This was defiantly the highlight of the trip for me! I loved Mamma Mia! I hope a traveling show comes to Phoenix. I will defiantly see it again. We ate at Carmine's before the show. (Note to self...the Lemon Butter Pasta was divine and if I ever go there again, that it what I should order! Oh, and also Carnegie Deli has the best Cheesecake in New York City. I think we tried every other kind just to make sure!)

Times Square

Our hotel was walking distance from Times Square. We spent a good amount of time and money there! We made some great deals ! Our first Coach purchase was in a dark corner with a questionable salesperson. Oh, and the suitcase deal...Sherrie kissed a luggage salesman in order to get a good price on a suitcase (okay so he kissed her, and I believe I saw her throw up a little in her mouth afterwards). We got some great souvenirs in times square. (Just wish I coulda brought Nick the doorman home as a souvenir. I could really use a doorman at my house!)

As for the TKTS line. Not sure if that was worth it. We did score awesome Mamma Mia tickets for a steal...but when we tried to get Phantom tickets we stood in line for hours in the rain only to find out that the only tickets they had were single seats and we would have to sit with strangers. Thanks, but no thanks.

Native New Yorkers! Hot Mama's With Metrocards!

By our last day there we had the Subway system figured out. Now I wanna hurry back before I forget it! ;) The people watching on the New York Subway is first class. Take for instance three crazy ladies taking pictures of each other while swiping Metrocards and going through turnstiles. Who would do that? Ummm, don't answer that!
