If only ah mah was alive.......

I was deeply touched by Dan in Real Life today. Teared at several moments during the show.

There were several things in the show that touched me. But one of which is family life.

As I watched Dan's family life at his parent's home near the lake, it reminded me of the times when my uncles and their families were back for Chinese New Year. Seeing and spending time with them was simply great. U know experiencing their interesting and funny mannerisms, interacting with them, having great and sometimes heated discussions over meals about anything from politics, to religion to family matters to work , to economics etc etc...playing games together - wow those were really fun and warm times. U know, truly experiencing the warmnest of family life. It makes me not wanting to leave that world. To remain in that world just a bit longer when the time to return to the outside world becomes imminent.

O ah mah, if only you were still alive, then the uncles would bring their families back and my aunties would make the point to visit and spend family life together.

Any day, i would trade for that...to experience one more time the warmnest of true family life. Such is the gift from God.
