Hi Dreamers!
How is your week going? Doing good here. I sent out the box of 50 cards to my customer yesterday. So, all done with that!! Today's card is one of the cards that went into the order. I love this Jane Austen set from Artistic Outpost!! This is the second card I made with this set and I have a couple more on the work table that are almost finished. I used one of my favorite color palettes for elegant cards---blue and white.
Materials:
Stamps: all from the Jane's Countryside set from Artistic Outpost
Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Bordering Blue Stampin' Up
CS: white, Bordering Blue (Stampin' Up)
Instructions:
- Make a card from Bordering Blue CS
- On white CS stamp the background stamp (also in the Jane's Countryside set) with Bordering Blue ink stamping off once
- Stamp the Jane Austen figure and the sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink
- Add to card base
This went together pretty quickly once I got the placement of each stamp correct. A few did go in the trash basket...LOL I think this could be used for any occasion by changing the sentiment--like a birthday or get well too. I would also add a sentiment to inside for a birthday card. For the inside of this card, I stamped the background only.
*********A few Fun Challenges for my Blue/White Jane Austen card:
Artistic Outpost: anything goes with AO stamp
Cards in Envy: Retro and must be A2 size
4 Krafty Girlz: anything goes
Charisma Cardz: favorite color combination----mine is blue and white--what could be more classic??!!
Divas by Design: anything goes
So, for my next post I have some vintage cards made using embossing folders and no stamping. Eek!! Did I say no stamping??!! Yes, well just once in awhile it is fun to not stamp. LOL. I hope you have a great day!! Love ya.
