Another Final Fantasy-centric entry.
December 17, 2010 4:15:00 PM
I really gotta start getting back to this business.
I finished Nobuta wo Produce 129380248 years ago. I tried watching Mei-chan no Shitsuji (Mei-chan's butler) but like most J-dramas the beginning was too slow and I got bored. So I started the Hana-Kimi Special (because I finally, finally found it) and then ended up only watching 2 parts out of... 11(?).
My drama life is pathetic.
I'm back in Malaysia ! Flight back was alright, I only got pins-and needles twice during the whole 8 hours (: So proud. I really want to slap those people in Australia who don't want to come back to Malaysia because it's "too hot". What hot are you talking about ? I'd rather perspire a little than shrivel up like a dried prune.
I haven't been able to fine Dirge of Cerberus anywhere ;A;
No one wanted to play on out super old but still in super good condition PS2 with me, so I ended up watching Advent Children. Again. Only this one wasn't AC: Complete so some parts were different and tbh, I like Complete better. The fight scene with Sephie at the end had more action (I'm so sadist. I'm sorry Cloud ;A;).
Deepest apologies if I'm being boring :C
Nearly at chapter 20 of my fanfic ! I don't know where I should stop :| The last chaptered one that I wrote had 34 chapters and I reckon it got a bit draggy towards the end (but that's just me, being my harshest critic as per usual).
; Time is tickin' away.

Yes, the girl is alive.
I'm really really thinking about getting a brand new blog because this archive is like... a thousand years old. And still thinking about coding that new blogskin. Haven't come up with a design yet.
WHY AM I BEING SO BORING.
I'm so rusty ;A;
Well, I recently got into /cough/obsessed with/cough/ Final Fantasy. All thanks to that 5 minute 25 second fan-made Anime Music Video (and it's so significant that it demands capitals) that you can currently view in the right hand corner of the right hand column on this page. Significant AMV requires significant instructions.
So my Christmas list as of now is:
- 30 Seconds To Mars' This Is War album
- Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus (And I don't care whether Tamaki thinks it's shit, the trailer looked awesome. And I'm die-hard FFVII fan).
- A... DSLR. I think. Idk.
So I'm sitting here in my not-so-heinous pink hoodie in sports shorts and dark blue finger nails which are going to have to come off because it's back to school tomorrow (the polish, not the nails) and it's like negative 874893284290 degrees outside. Hellooo Australia. I'm pretty sure you're well acquainted to summer. What, you had a fall-out ? Well get back together again, please.
I finished Hana-Kimi the Japanese the other day and have now moved on to another 5 year old drama that I had no idea existed (I always seem to watch old Japanese dramas. Don't ask why). Nobuta wo Produce ! Starring KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya, Hana-Kimi's Horikita Maki and Yamashita Tomohisa... aka Yamapi. Who looks like Kim Hyun Joong.
Damned Johnny's. They're everywhere. (Literally. I just stalked Horikita's wiki-d-addicts page and clicked a random drama and who else is in it but Sakurai Sho (with Satoshi Ohno as a guest star) Bajeezus.)
Okay, gonna go play with my Chocobo now.
MY TAGS ARE SO SCREWED. URGH.

Urgh, I'm alive.
Sorry for leaving this blog for dead (except for the random kpop), but I've been... kind of. Busy. I'm crossing my fingers (what's left of my fingers at least) and working for exams this time. Because during mid terms I didn't study much and well... didn't like the consequences.
So it's 4 weeks left, and I'm really working. Honestly.
In fact, my eyes are starting to burn as we speak. Not a nice feeling. 2 weeks term break wasn't enough. It didn't even feel like a holiday because my aunt was here and then my dad was here and then my cousins were here and it was like WHOA. I NEED A BREAK.
But of course I didn't get one and ended up returning to school feeling like I just had the weekend off. Which really is just the same as any other week.
In ref to the title, I think I probably would start one (though to be honest I've already subconsciously started) but knowing me I'd probably break the hiatus in the first week. So I'm not officially announcing one.
101010 today ! Happy birthday to my 4 facebook friends (:
I was intending to keep this a K-pop free post, but important news has crept up and I can't help it.
KIM HEE CHUL HAS FACEBOOK, PEOPLE.
Ahh, the advantages of Twitter. And his cats. Are. FAT.
Anyway, Imma go study and write out a cheat sheet for my Physics test tomorrow (which I conveniently forgot about) and maybe start the Chapter 9 draft.
*
It's time for a skin change isn't it ? And a name change as well, while I'm at it. But maybe we'll see after exams. /sigh
Sucks how exams dominate our lives when we don't even need them in real life.

Because an update is in need.

130910; MondayJapanese: Left my workbook in my locker and ended up reading passages without answering any questions. Such is the life of the "model" Japanese student; understanding everything without the help of totally pointless questions. Regretted not taking my JLPT revision to school.
Assembly: Bored to tears.
Maths Methods: Managed to finish a whole exercise. /proud
Physics: Paid no attention to Gabi's speech (sorry Gabi!) and drew on the back of my JLPT handout. Managed to create Shuriken and Mikael ver.3.0. Half paid attention to the rest of the lesson (which explains why I don't even remember what we did next -.-)
Advanced General Maths: Spent an hour trying to answer a Specialist maths question.Took me 3 attempts, and in the end I couldn't get the answer for it. /sigh
140910; TuesdayViscom: Gave in an unfinished powerpoint with a little white lie. Spent 45 minutes doing nothing because of technical problems (and popcorn!). Listened to two 15-minute speeches (by which time we were practically asleep).
Physics: Tried to create Ryder ver.3.0 but failed. Did a draft on the back of some random paper (I've got tons of random papers) and failed doing the final. Took notes (but didn't get what was the point of them. I have absorbed NOTHING for this chapter. Funny to think I was all hyped up for Light.)
English: Tried again to create Ryder ver.3.0 but failed. Again. Gave up on Ryder ver.3.0. Did somemore random crap on Jindabyne (like answering obvious questions).
Lunch: Finished my VisCom powerpoint on Deconstructivism.
Methods: Slacked off. Ran off to the Arts Centre to hand in my powerpoint with 15 minutes to go before school ended.
Home: Stressed about Advanced General test and nearly cried because I couldn't get the right answer. Got help from Chewie and then was All Systems Go.
150910; Wednesday; Free Dress Day!Wore my usual attire: black skinnies, hoodie, beret, sneakers. Couldn't find face paint in the morning (theme was Horror).
Advanced General: Had a test, didn't think I went too bad. Wondered why everyone else was going so slow.
English: Seperated into groups for more pointless exercises. I don't get why our school always ends up doing the really weird films. I don't get why the weird films are always the ones with the most (finger quotation) messages.
Japanese: Learnt about
Tsukimi and how Japanese celebrate it (think Mcdonalds Tsukimi Burgers!) and all. Read the story of
Kaguyahime (in Japanese of course) and had some
dango that Ishii sensei made for us ♥ Ishii sensei no dango wa hontou ni oishii da yo!
160910; ThursdayHad to be reminded by Suelyn to read Bleach 420. Yes. I, the most loyal fan of Bleach, had to be reminded by a total non-fan to read the manga. Disappointed.
Japanese: Had a kanji test (like every Thursday).Watched hilarious Japanese ads. Did some exercises on relative clauses (which are actually really easy once you get the hang of it.)
Physics: Did some dud experiments on Colour and Light (including using a Wave model that no one knew how to use - good times). Ended up doing practically nothing... took some random pictures with Vishaka's iPhone and discussed ways to jazz up our school uniform (like adding a tie?)
English: Most random english lesson ever. Drew scenes from the intro of Jindabyne that depicted different camera shots. Pointless pointless pointless. Did some sketches for Swing, Alyx, Andrea ver.3.0.
VisCom: Listened to more speeches and worried about how un-detailed mine was. Got a headache from trying to decipher Zahraa's optical art examples.
170910; Friday; Last Day of School!Decided to catch the 8am train instead of the 7.46am one. Missed the 8am - had to wait for the 8.13am. 8.13am train delayed for 7 minutes. OTL Reached school with 10 minutes to spare.
Methods: Didn't have a teacher for about 15 minutes. The others started playing Celebrity Heads so we all joined in. First batch was: Lauren; Julia Guillard (HAHA), Olivia; Justin Bieber, Tahlan; Miley Cyrus. Second batch was: India; Voldemort(I chose that for her), Kim; Dame Edna, Emily; Lady Gaga. Third batch: Amy; Amy, Soph, someone else I forgot. Then teacher decided to come in. /sigh I didn't get a turn (as always).
VisCom: It was decided that we'd just have the lesson off - so I didn't have to do my speech (:
Read Looked at The Arrival by Shaun Tan. MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK. EVER. A bonus for people who don't like to read - it was entirely pictures. No words whatsoever. The man is a genius. And it took 4 years to make. Pure awesomesauce right there. Talked. Looked at Top Designs to get some idea about what to do next year.
Advanced General: Did revision for old topics. Pulled up my socks and looked really Asian, apparently (well I sure hope that I do!) Got test results back - 90%, yay :)
Home: Ate
kao chi and
siew loong pau and started ep 2 of Mischevous Kiss/Playful Kiss/Jangnanseuron Kiss. Discovered I didn't know how to spell 'Mischievous'. Got kicked off by Ma. Went to lie down in front of the fire with Nee-chan and sang DBSK songs to myself. Fell asleep on the floor in front of the fire. Woke up with a red face. Had dinner while finishing ep 2 of Playful Kiss and watched ep 3. LOVE. IT.
Long update is long update. Congratulations for making it this far ! You deserve a trophy - but I don't have one to give. /pats you on the back
