Enoch & Travis

Enoch & Travis enjoy watching movies together sometimes. I thought this one afternoon was really sweet because Enoch held Trav’s arm the whole time.

Enoch enjoys tubby time. He also enjoys the fun stuff that goes along with tubby time.

Here he is using tubby time shaving cream for kiddos, and no, that's not a real razor, its a toy.

Enoch had a rough day the other week. For those of you who don’t know what a conch shell is, please see HERE

Enoch likes to play the conch shell from time to time and believe it or not, he is really good at it.

Well, one day, the conch shell decided it was going to slip out of Enoch’s hand and land on his toe.

It sliced the end of his big toe, almost completely off. POOR GUY! Daddy came to the rescue with the super glue

and bandages and everything was okay again. Enoch was very tough. His toe has completely healed

and looks amazing now.

Random

I woke up this morning to about 8 inches of snow. This was not a surprise to me, as the snow started last night and we already had plenty then. No, what surprised me was, when I looked out the back window there was a bee in the snow! It looked as if it had JUST fallen dead when I walked to that window. As I was snapping photos, the snow continued to cover the poor little guy. Just an odd, random photo…

Enoch and Joe are always so entertaining. We have discovered that Enoch has some AmaZing balance for a 3 year old. We’re always saying how he’s going to grow up to be a Paleontologist or a Zoologist. He’s very interested in animals as some of you already know. Then there are days when he shows us his “Defense” moves for basketball, or his pitching arm, or his interest in golfing or….his amazing balance as shown here.

Joe, as we all know, is a basketball player. It truly is his first love, after me of course. ;D

I attempted to capture some moves.

And then there’s Travis, he is our beauty. He loves to be held, he loves your attention and for the most part, is a very peaceful spirit.

We thoroughly enjoy his presence in our home. He’s a sweetheart.

Enoch & The Dentist

Enoch had his first dental visit and it went really well. We were in and out in 5 minutes flat…well, after the paperwork anyway. I think I was more nervous than Enoch was and to be honest, the dentist we went to didn’t seem to be very kid friendly. The information I found on this dentist said he took kids from ages 2 and up and he did really well with them so, I leaped. Surprisingly enough, it was a good visit. Enoch has all the teeth he is supposed to have right now but, he has two cavities. I had kind of looked around at his teeth a few times and assumed that the two dark spots were cavities so I was slightly prepared for this news. Since this visit though, we have cut back on soda and juice. Enoch wasn’t very happy with this new development at first but, he doesn’t even notice now.Sept - Oct 2009 001

I was impressed, Enoch did very well and was very excited to go see the dentist. He got a cool coloring book with DINOSAURS and a neat new tooth brush. He is ready to return already!

What Have I Been Doing?

Well, to say the least, life has been busy. I’ve been working a lot on the invitation business and I’ve been trying really hard to get the holiday stuff designed and put out there just in time for the Holidays. On top of all the time designing eats up, we house sat for some friends in Castle Rock last weekend, had Dr’s appointments, helped with driving my Dad to a few places after his car accident (he’s great BTW, not a scratch on him), delivering invitation orders, church meetings, etc. You get the picture. Life is just nuts. I always think, after summer, things slow down a bit but, boy am I out of the loop. It seems to get worse as you progress in life.

My boys are good. We all just recently got over colds, no fun. Trav is still stuck with a cough that will most likely last for two weeks. I’m just so grateful that it wasn’t the flu. He also has two teeth now and is sitting up very well. He also seems to scoot around on his stomach when he wants to but, no crawling yet.

Enoch seems to get older everyday. He is so sweet too. He randomly tells me throughout the day that he loves me, he gives me kisses often, and loves on his little brother. He enjoys watching his “Roar” movies and plays like he’s a “T-Shrex”.

Joe, my sweet Joe. This cold seemed to hit him harder, he has been able to catch up on a lot of sleep lately which is awesome. He is building a mantel in the family room for his Mother (pictures will be posted soon). He hasn’t been able to do much in the way of photography lately, what with work and all but, we’re grateful for the work he does have.

We have been blessed in so many ways as a family and I’m grateful for the little things in our lives that bring so much joy. With the Holidays quickly on their way, I’m excited for the family time and memories. I hope you will enjoy this time of year with your loved ones as well.

Family Photo Session

We were able to get some family photos taken a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! My sweet friend Bonnie shot these and she did an amazing job. If you’ve got kids, she’s amazing with them because she has her own kids as well and just handles them SO well. Enoch had a lot of fun with her. These are just a few photos from the session but if you go to her blog, you can see a few more.

Thanks again Bonnie! We enjoyed it!
