Old Soldier Takes MP Ann Keen to Court For Being 'Lazy'

Labour MP has become the first to be sued by a constituent for 'laziness'.

Health Minister Ann Keen - who has raked in £660,000 in taxpayer-funded expenses since 2001 - was taken to court over claims she snubbed a war veteran's pleas for help.

She was ordered to pay £15,000 in damages to 84-year-old John Taylor, who was badly wounded while fighting in Holland during the Second World War.

The front-bencher was accused of failing to represent the pensioner in his battle to clear his name after a miscarriage of justice 47 years ago.

Cameron's 'Sinister' Mind Tests For The Cabinet In Waiting

David Cameron faces a revolt over secret plans to force Tory MPs to have psychometric testing to prove they are fit to be Ministers if he wins the next General Election.
Party chiefs have had talks with TV psychologist Kris Murrin on how to weed out those with psychological or other flaws.
Under a separate proposal, MPs’ secretaries – and even former secretaries – would be asked about their bosses’ private conduct, such as how they react under pressure

Compulsory Sex Education For Children Under Five Proposed

'A cross-party group of MPs is calling on the Government to make advice on sexual health and relationships mandatory in all schools.
The appeal, made in a letter to The Daily Telegraph, comes as ministers draw up plans to extend the scope of sex education provided in schools.
Despite repeated campaigns and promises from ministers, Britain's teenage pregnancy rates remain among the highest in the developed world.
Figures also suggest that sexually transmitted diseases are becoming more prevalent among children.
The MPs, led by Chris Bryant, a parliamentary aide to Harriet Harman, the Labour deputy leader, say the answer is to give children more information about sex, contraception and relationships.
Under existing rules, all children must be taught the basic biological facts of human reproduction, which are sometimes taught in science classes. There is no obligation for children to receive dedicated teaching about the social and emotional aspects of sexual behaviour. '
Chris Bryant MP, Labour member of parliment for Rhondda (pictures above). Mr. Bryant was the London Manager For Common Purpose between 1994 and 1996, ex Church of England Clergyman, Openly homosexual with a penchant for touting for sleazy sex on gay websites and an huge interest in seeing that under 5's in the UK recieve Compulsory education in all sexual matters !

The Great Expenses Cover-up: Now MPs Quietly Change the Freedom Of Information Act to Keep Details Secret

MPs were last night accused of mounting a shameless cover-up operation to prevent voters from discovering the full truth about their lavish expenses.
This autumn, Commons authorities will for the first time release details of up to two million receipts submitted by MPs, covering claims for home improvements, furnishings and office costs.
But The Mail on Sunday can reveal that MPs have insisted on having the information censored – and in such a way that could save them from potential embarrassment.
Under the changes, the location of MPs’ taxpayer-funded second homes will be cut out while full travel details – including potentially extravagant taxi journeys – will also be exempt.
The decision to edit the claims was nodded through the Commons without a vote just before MPs broke up for the summer and came after women MPs apparently broke down in tears at the prospect of their personal details being released.
The change meant amending the Government’s flagship freedom of information legislation.

Innocent MP Fingerprinted After His Uncle's Murder Discovers His Details are Still on DNA Database One Year On

'A Tory MP fingerprinted after the murder of his 80-year-old uncle claimed last night that he is an innocent victim of Labour’s ‘Big Brother’ surveillance state.
Police visited the Commons to take fingerprints and a DNA sample from London MP Greg Hands after the killing last year.
But Mr Hands, 42, is now demanding to know why, one year on and despite repeated requests, his details have not been removed from the national DNA database.
He said that he and hundreds of thousands of other innocent Britons were being ‘stigmatised’ by the database, which is estimated to contain the records of more than four million individuals, including about 900,000 not convicted of any crime.'
There is a strong case to argue that is there any such thing as an Innocent MP?
Perhaps Mr. Hands should have turned up to vote in more than 33% of the possible votes on the introduction of the Identity card bill
He voted against a transparent parliament
He voted only moderatly against the labour anti terrorism bill
He voted against equal gay rights
KARMA some would say!!
