Workers From the EU Claim UK Pensions

Polish-owned companies with UK offices are encouraging self-employed people who live and work in Poland to switch their NI payments to Britain.

All that is required is a one-day visit to London for an appointment at a JobCentre Plus to get a NI number and open a UK bank account. They are lured by the promise of a British basic pension of £412.75, compared with just £130 a month in Poland.'

Leaked 1955 Bilderberg Docs Outline Plan For Single European Currency

Leaked documents from the 1955 Bilderberg Group conference held in Germany discuss the agenda to create a European Union and a single EU currency, decades before they were introduced, disproving once again debunkers who claim that Bilderberg has no influence over world events

Leaked papers from the meeting which took place from September 23-25 1955 at the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, West Germany, were released by the Wikileaks website yesterday.

As we first reported in 2003, a BBC investigative team were allowed to access Bilderberg files which confirmed that the EU and the Euro were the brainchild of Bilderberg. They were probably reading from the same documents that were released by Wikileaks.

It was only last month that Belgian viscount and current Bilderberg-chairman Étienne Davignon bragged that Bilderberg helped create the Euro by first introducing the policy agenda for a single currency in the early 1990’s.

However, the documents show that the agenda to create a European common market and a single currency go back decades earlier.

The summary report of the 1955 meeting talks of the “Pressing need to bring the German people, together with the other peoples of Europe, into a common market.”

The document also outlines the plan, “To arrive in the shortest possible time at the highest degree of integration, beginning with a common European market."

EU Trains a New Diplomatic Corps - Without Waiting for Lisbon Treaty

Five hundred and thirty staff from the European Commission have already begun training to build a "shared diplomatic culture and an esprit de corps" for the EU's putative External Action Service (EEAS).

Irish voters blocked the Lisbon Treaty, which provides the legal basis for a new Euro-diplomatic corps, when they rejected the renamed EU Constitution in a referendum last June.

The disclosure that the Commission has simply pressed on regardless and begun training the euro-diplomats infuriated Irish politicians. Ireland is expected to hold a second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty in October.

DANGERS OF LOW ENERGY LIGHTBULBS

SERIOUS concerns were raised yesterday about the toxic effects of energy-saving lightbulbs.

Doctors say scores of people are coming forward with skin complaints after being exposed to the ultra-violet light emitted by the new-style bulbs. And the mercury powder inside them makes handling a broken bulb extremely dangerous.

Exposure to high levels of mercury can cause itching, burning, skin inflammation, kidney problems and insomnia.

Alarming guidelines issued by the Government warn that anyone breaking a low-energy bulb should leave the room immediately.

The guidelines, published on the Defra website, say: “Vacate the room and ventilate it for at least 15 minutes.

Fears Over Security for London 2012

EU and Nato help should be called upon to boost security at the London 2012 Olympics, an influential group of peers has said.

"It is increasingly clear that the 2012 Olympics could be a prime target for terrorists and it is vital the Government takes every possible step to ensure other EU member states are fully prepared to assist the UK in the case of a potential attack," he said.

Lisbon Treaty Allows For Death Penalty Across Europe

Professor Schachtschneider pointed out that it [the European Union reform treaty, a.k.a. the Lisbon Treaty] also reintroduces the death penalty in Europe, which I think is very important, in light of the fact that, especially Italy was trying to abandon the death penalty through the United Nations, forever.

A Million Jobs Taken By Non EU Workers

A million workers from outside the EU have taken jobs in Britain since Labour came to power, according to official analysis.
Although they have no automatic right to work in this country, they have filled almost half of all the jobs created since 1997.
The scale of employment among non-EU migrants was revealed to MPs by the Office for National Statistics.
Gordon Brown, who earlier this year pledged 'British jobs for British workers', has faced difficulties in recent months with growing resentment over jobs going to competitors from EU countries.
But the latest breakdown shows that since 1997 workers from outside Europe have taken jobs at nearly double the rate of EU workers – including Poles and other Eastern Europeans given the right to work in Britain in 2004.
The figures were published by Karen Dunnell, the National Statistician and ONS chief whose determination to make the latest information on immigration and employment available has brought a wave of criticism from ministers.
They show that between December 1997 and last year the number of jobs held by workers born outside the country went up by 1,759,000, of which 1,084,000 were filled by people born outside Europe.

EU-Israeli Collusion Against Palestinians?

Some days ago I was able to speak with Dr. Tammam Kelani, the President of Arab-Austrian Federation of Doctors and Pharmacists, who had just returned from Germany after participating in a Congress of the Federation of Arab Doctors in Europe. I was thinking to speak with him about the humanitarian conclusions from that congress, in which the participants declared the 28 March 2009 as a day of solidarity with the children of Gaza in all of Europe, and to write about the activities of his association in support of the Palestinians in Gaza affected by the Israeli criminality.

But the conversation with the doctor turned out to be far more interesting than what I expected.

Eurojust Supports Wire-tapping of Skype Conversations

EU's judicial cooperation agency Eurojust will take the lead in finding ways to help police and prosecutors across Europe to wiretap computer-to-computer phone conversations enabled by programs such as Skype.

"We will sit together with all member states to see how this can be done technically and legally," Joannes Thuy, Eurojust spokesman told this website.

Eastern Europe is About to Blow

Eastern Europe is about to blow. If it does, it could take much of the EU with it. It's an emergency situation but there are no easy solutions. The IMF doesn't have the resources for a bailout of this size and the recession is spreading faster than relief efforts can be organized. Finance ministers and central bankers are running in circles trying to put out one fire after another. Its only a matter of time before they are overtaken by events. If one country is allowed to default, the dominoes could begin to tumble through the whole region. This could trigger dramatic changes in the political landscape.

The rise of fascism is no longer out of the question.
