Family picture

JC Penney's is offering a free 8x10 and digital copy of a portrait (plus free sitting fees for everyone) this month.  I love this picture!  We also got Christmas cards which will be sent out later this month.

Chloe's birthday video

I know it's a month overdue, but here it is.  I didn't a pic of her birthday cake.  I was so bummed that I didn't do it.  I kept thinking I'd do it once we got to the Y, but it never happened.  You can kind of see it in the video.  She wanted a sparkly rainbow cake.  I painted the cake blue and them did a rainbow.  Topped off with shimmer powder.

Hard to believe she's 5.  When we were in the student ward in Moscow, before we had kids, I thought that the 4 and 5 year old kids were so big.  Now I have one.  We love you Chloe!  She is such a sensitive little girl.  She's a great helper with her sisters.

Water pics

Here are pics of our water park fun.

I like the previous 2 because I kept snapping pics trying to get the setting right on the camera.  Finally on the last one I got it, and this is Chloe's expression.

Chloe playing in the little waterfall.

Nothing scarier than a Scarlett lurking in the water

She always looked like an airplane walking through the water

Cheese!

Scar loved playing on the jet skis.  She kept calling them motorcycles.  She really liked it when one of us would get on the back.

She really is having fun.  She would plug her ears and hum.  Don't know what's going on with the pouty lip.

This is what she did after sticking her fingers in her ears...yum!

Great Wolf Lodge

The girls after dinner at Denny's
Trevor got a few days of leave so we went to Great Wolf Lodge for a night.  We had a great time!  It's only about an hour and a half away from us.  There are lots of pics.  I'll post the water pics on their own.  It's a huge indoor waterpark.  Inside the lodge there's everything you could ever need/want.  Food, shopping, recreation, it's all there so you don't ever have to leave.  We got a family suite which had 2 queen beds.  We thought that we would sleep in one bed and the older girls in the other.  We had the pack and play for Juliet.  Chloe ended up sleeping with Trevor and I slept with Scar.  I got the better end of that deal.  Chloe is such a bed hog.  Although, I was worried Scar would wet the bed so I got up in the middle of the night and took her to the bathroom.  I love being able to spend time with our whole family together.  So much of what we do is the girls and me.  It was great having Trevor with us and making these memories together.
Breakfast in bed.  The girls love Fruit Loops and they were thrilled to get them for breakfast.

Me and the girls hanging out.  Cute shot of Chloe posing.

Relaxing before the water park.

During October they have trick or treating every night.  You go to different places around the lodge and get candy.  Afterwards, there was a station where you got to decorate a sugar cookie.  They loved it!

Love this picture of Chloe and Juliet.

My 4 favorite people

Here we all are.

This little sequence cracks me up.  I asked the girls to climb up on the bear so I could take a picture of their hair extensions.  They each got to pick out a colored hair extension before we left.  Apparently Chloe hit her head on the bear's arm and had a meltdown.  All I saw was the meltdown.  For the longest time she sat there with her head down and I didn't know what her problem was.

This goes with the earlier picture where Chloe is eating breakfast.  Want to guess Trevor's response when he saw this picture?  "Future water skier".

Trunk or Treat

Our ward's trunk or treat was last night.  There was also a pie contest and a chili cook off.  I made taco soup (didn't win diddly) and an oreo cheesecake.  I didn't enter the cheesecake since it's not a pie.  I think it was the best dessert there because it didn't last a whole 5 minutes on the table.  It was gone fast.

I love Halloween, absolutely love it.  I think I love it so much now that the girls are older and we can dress up with them and have fun.  Chloe and Scar picked their costumes out a while ago, butterfly and cowgirl.  I wasn't sure if Trevor would be home for Halloween or not, but when I found out he was going to be here I decided on our costumes.  Aren't they great?!  I love it.  Very appropriate since he is a sailor man.

Popeye the sailor man, a cranky Sweet Pea and Olive Oyl.

Blue and black butterfly digging for candy.

Our cowgirl.  She kept saying "yee haw, ridem cowgirl" and "howdy paht-nuh".

They're cute.

A little blurry, but I love their posing.

Popeye and Sweet Pea

I added this one because Sweet Pea is much happier.

I got special face paints to do a butterfly on Chloe's face.  Even with the stencil it was really hard.  The butterfly I drew didn't look at all like the picture on the box but Chloe seemed happy with it.  Fortunately for me Scarlett just wanted a heart on her cheek.

First day of school

I'm finally posting about their first day of school.  They go to Creative Connection at the Presbyterian church in Silverdale.  We've been really happy with the school.

Here is Chloe on her first day of Pre-K.  She is in Ms. Micky's class Mon-Thurs 9:15-11:45am.  She was pretty excited.

I had to put this picture in.  This is Scarlett on Chloe's first day of school.  She was so unhappy!  Chloe ended up giving Scarlett a bracelet she had made in her CTR 4 class the day before.  Such a good big sis, helping little sis be happy.

Here is our girl on HER first day of school.

A much happier Scarlett wearing her new Minnie Mouse outfit.  She really was happy even though she doesn't look it.  She is in Ms. Lynn's T/R morning class.

All three girls before leaving to take Chloe and Scarlett to school.

Chloe giving Juliet a cuddle.

Juliet chillin on the floor.  Love the arm over her face.  Probably thinking, "it's too loud in here".

I'll try to get back in the blogging habit.  I was doing really well there for a while.  Juliet is almost 3 months old right now!  At her latest appointment she is in the 60th or so percentile for weight and height.  Actually, all three girls are right about in the middle for height and weight.  Head size, although, is 90th or higher.  Since Ju was born Trevor has been gone twice.  Not for long amounts of time, but twice.  Lots of back and forth, lots of instability with his job.  I'll blame that for no blogging.  Even as I'm writing this Juliet is screaming and very unhappy.  Trevor is home though, so I'm taking advantage of him handling the situation to put some pictures on here.

Mom's visit

My mom came from Virginia to help out with the kiddos.  She was here for almost a month.  We had a great time.  The girls loved playing with grandma.  She left last night before the girls went to bed.  When Chloe noticed she was putting her shoes on she got so sad.  I love this picture of my mom with Juliet and Chloe.

I think my mom has played enough memory to last a lifetime.  Chloe loves this game.  She's pretty good at it too.  She won more than mom.

Chloe had to pose and put her hand on her hip.  Juliet's eyes are open.

Cute pic of Chloe and grandma.

Grandma and the big girls.

It was so nice having my mom here.  It's hard being so far away from family.  I am glad that we are able to see each other now and then.  Thanks for all your help mom!  We love you:)

My baby is 3!

Scarlett turned 3 on August 23rd.  She is getting so big.  She loved her Tinker Bell cake and the scooter she got from us.  She is such a joy to have in our family.  Very social, outgoing and quite the little stinker.  She is so much fun!

Here she is enjoying her birthday present.

Tinker Bell cake.  I put a bit too much copper coloring in the frosting- Tink has quite a tan.

Scar going down the huge bouncey house slide.  Friday we went to the bouncey house indoor playground with some friends for her "party".  She immediately made a bee line for this particular slide.  Chloe, however, took about an hour and a half to warm up to going down this one.  Scar is going so fast she's just a blur in the picture.  She is our adventurous, fearless little girl.

The kids at the party table.

A little blurry, but I wanted to point out that of all the seats at the table Chloe and Scarlett chose to sit next to each other.  I thought that was sweet.

Me and the birthday girl.

Believe it or not, this is the best picture I could get of all the kids who came to play.  They're all here.  Chloe's ducking behind Arthur.  Audrey is the only one who was poised the whole time I was snapping away.
We had a great time with Scarlett's friends on Friday.
