18 more days to POP. Countdown!!

Saturday, August 25, 2007

Yuppy! I'm left with 18 days to my Passing Out Parade (POP). It's time to begin with the countdown to POP. *Grins* :) We booked out earlier this week, on Thursday night. This is because we will be having some event on Sunday and required to book in tonight. After booked out, my NS buddies and I went to Cine Kbox to sing. It was a great K session. Basically, we sang non-stop from 11.30pm to 4am, in the morning eventhough my throat was quite sore. =X

Friday afternoon was spent with my ex-CAVR lab colleagues at Swensen to celebrate Pei Yu's Birthday. :P It was a nice catching up man. =P ^^ We took some pictures but these pictures aren't with me now. Thus, I cannot post it yet. In the evening, I met up with Eileen to shop around at town. Guess what? Eileen surprised me with a tin of cookies which she made in that afternoon. So nice of her. PLUS! It's double chocolates cookies. Sooo.. Chocolatie =D This also means I can bring it into camp during this book in. =D SweetSS LOL.
OH. I got myself a beret yesterday. (I wondered if it's name like this? =X) I like it alot. Oh, we took neorpints together too. It's been a while since I last took one. Fun!! After shopping, we had our supper at some Jap Fast food like restaurant (Can't rememeber the name of the shop though)before heading home.

Yay! 3 & 1/2 weeks more

Here I am blogging... :)

Lets see. 3 and 1/2 weeks to POP (Passing Out Parade)! Time flies! I can't wait to pop. It was another great weekend. =D Rested quite a bit on friday. I started enjoying my weekend on Sat. Sat was a great fireworks day for me. Yeah. This is because I went to Marina to watch fireworks with Eileen. Actually, we didn't plan to watch fireworks beforehand. It was sort of an impromptu. Initially, our aim was to satisfy the craving of N.Y.D.C's mud pies. Trust me. The crowd at Marina square was horrendous. AND I am NOT exaggerating! =X We had a hard time finding a nice decent restaurant for our dinner. The initial plan was to have dinner at New York New York and complete our meal with N.Y.D.C's mud pies. oh well, our plan was ruined because of the crowd. You won't believe how long the queue at New York New York was. In the end, we settled our dinner at N.Y.D.C. Not a bad choice anyway. After our dinner, we did some window shopping and headed to watch fireworks after shopping. That day, we actually walked quite alot and I can see how tired eileen was from walking. =X Hope she had a good rest when she was back home.

I signed up mio plan singtel today! Yay! Got myself a new line. Thanks Chris for accompanying me to Hello shop. We had pasta at Pasta mania for our lunch and did some shopping for NS goodies at Bp plaza. Thats all for now. I will be booking out this coming thursday. See you all. Take care!

B.A.C.K! BACK! BaCk! Back! back!

Field camp and SIT test are finally over!! Yay!! I'm back to update the happening in my life. :) The six-days field camp was exhausting, fun and enjoyable. Haha.. Yeah. It's fun in a way as we got to learn alot of interesting stuff. I think it was an eye-opening experience, " An experience which you cannot get elsewhere." Well, personally I think field camp was alright except for the heat rashes which developed on my back during field camp. It was really torturing and miserable to have heat rashes. I felt damn painful and itchy. I bet you guys will never able to understand it unless heat rashes actually develop on your back. Honestly, on the 4th day of field camp, I was really tempted to report sick and to give up halfway because of the terrible heat rashes. Apparently, I didn't give up and I'm glad that I've gone through the whole camp. =D I kept telling myself to hang on and convinced myself that it will be over in no time. Yup. It's over time. I got a great sense of accomplishment after it too.

I booked out last friday, right after my field camp. During that weekend, I met up with Mick and Wilson on sat to watch The Simpson movie. It was quite nice. We had dinner at Shin Kushiya, the Japanese restarant @ Vivocity which I went with Eric the other time. As usual, the comment from us for their food was "thumb up." Yummy! The only disappointment for that restaurant that day was a slight drop in their usual excellent service. Oh. That day's dinner costed us quite a bomb. Guess what? We paid about $38 per person. Expensive man. On last Sunday morning, Granny treated us dim sum at Fortunate Restaurant. Wow! I love dim sum. Hehe... I love their desserts too. I was quite greedy as I ordered two desserts. *grins* Mango pudding and Almond longans. They rox! Right after field camp and the weekend book out was our SIT test. It was basically a test to determine if we have leadership quality.I booked out from camp on Wed after SIT test. In other words, I have a long weekend. A very long one, from wed night to sun evening. As usual, I ate alot of yummy food. --Yoshinoya, Sakae sushi Buffet and Thai accent restaurants. Ate Yoshinoya for lunch on Thur and did a bit of window shopping with Chris that day too. On Friday night, chill out with some poly mates (Edna, Rus, KH, WS and cheryl) at Sakae. Nice~~ Oh ya. In Friday's afternoon, I went out with Wai kit. We shopped from marina square to Sun city and finally Vivocity. However, I got nothing from the shopping. Ewww.. In general, I hate mere window shopping. I prefer getting some stuff during shopping. At least, that makes me feel the sense of satisfaction and not a waste of time. Oh well, I am getting very broke. Hence, I have to limit on my spending. =S On sat, I met up with Harry in the afternoon. It's been a while since I last met up with him. Nice catching up with old friends. xD Oh yeah. Had dinner at Thai accent @ Vivocity with Eric. Nice food. I heart their Thai iced tea. =) It tastes similar to our chinese "tei peng" but there are extra flavours to it. Their iced tea has this very unique flavour. This explains why I heart it alot. xP

Anyhows, my SIA heritage series 5 have arrived. I remembered I was all ecstatic when I saw it for the first time. Their printing and craftmanship were excellent. On top it, it was made in germany. Okay. Lets stop saying so many of their good points. =X I found some flaws in their printing on my B747-200 aeroplane model today. Bad ~~ There is an imperfection in the printing at the aeroplane jet engine. Ewww.. =X When it comes to things I like, I always want it to have excellent quality. So, I sent an e-mail to them to request for an exchange as soon as possible. I hope they will get back to me very soon.

This entry seems so wordy. Well, well. Let say I am too lazy to post some of the pictures I took during the outings. Promise, I'll post if I have the time. I am booking in at 1910 later. I've decided to take public transport today. I shall stop wasting money on cab. =X Alright. Take care all. Drop me a msg or call me after 9.30pm everynight if you guys miss me or need to contact me. Haha! =D
