Brennan's First Communion

Brennan and Chase made their First Holy Communion on May 1st. It was a very spiritual and wonderful day. They both looked so handsome. The service was a bit long, due to the fact that 80 children were participating. They broke the group into two sessions. Luckily we had the later one so we didn't have to be at the church until 10:30. Poor Brennan was having terrible allergies and Ryan gave him a benadryl by mistake (instead of the Zyrtec)...so he was a little sleepy during the ceremony. The whole experience really broke him closer to the Lord. He actually wants to go to church on Sundays (instead of being dragged). He looks forward to receiving the Eucharist every week.

Birthday Girl

Our little Lauren turns two today! As any Mom would tell you its unbelievable how fast your children grow, especially your baby. She is growing into an independent, head strong little girl. She doesn't think twice about throwing a fit or screaming if she doesn't get her way. (being the baby she usually does get her way). This little girl can throw out a dirty look with the best of them. I get a daily roll of the eyes or sideways glance. She is absolutely in love with princesses. Loves to change her clothes. That's if she is wearing clothes, she loves to be naked and strips at any chance she can. She also loves to sing and is a non-stop chatter box. She has brought us so much joy and we love her to pieces. Happy Birthday Loo-Loo:)

Alive and Well

So after the big move back to my parents. I am ready to come out of hibernation. Everyone is adjusting very well. It is great to have a nice yard for the kids to RUN! Ryan and I are looking forward to starting school in the fall. Everything has fallen into place rather nicely. I can only hope I can say the same for the next four years!
Here are some recent pics:

North Carolina

We went to Fort Bragg, NC this past weekend to see Ryan's sister Kim. She had to have surgery and her husband is over in Iraq. So we drove down to be with her. Ryan and I took the kids to this cute little Children's Museum. It was a total hands on experience. The kids could touch and play with everything. It is set up like a little town, news desk, police dept., fire station, post office, bank, grocery store, and more! Best of all it was dirt cheap. $1 for kids $3 for adults, the items in the gift shop were under $1.00!

Lauren like to drive the police and fire trucks the best.

Can you find Brennan and Reid?

Rockband...Rocks!

Here are some pics of everybody playing the Beatles rockband. It is really fun! The kids love all of the songs. Even Lauren grabs a guitar and dances and sings....We all We all skkkyyy. (combo of We all live in a yellow submarine and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds). We even took it to NC to visit Kim, it's a blast!!

Christmas

This is a little late, but here is our family Christmas morning. Brennan and Reid were so excited the night before. Reid woke up around 7:20 and came in our bed he didn't even remember it was Christmas, until Brennan came galloping down the hall. Lauren was priceless. Santa brought her a baby stroller. As soon as she saw it she screamed and ran over to it. That was all she played with all morning!

Santa brought Brennan and Reid a bunch of games, Lego's, new spark scooters, and Rockband! We are having soooo much fun playing the Beatles songs. Reid is awesome on the drums and Brennan rocks on the guitar!

Christmas Program

Reid's preschool had a little Christmas program and it was adorable! They have been practicing songs since Halloween. He was so excited...although he didn't sing very much or very loud.
Santa came at the end and game them all a present (a book). Afterwards they had
some refreshments and the kids all exchanged a gift.
