thursday-cricket, B div finals
arrived with a blotch of paint
on my leg thanks to seb
i painted up with an
ac warrior across my arms
then the match started
well
my first ever cricket match
40min a half
at most maybe 50
but i was guessing shorter
oh well
the ignorance of it all
one inning lasts as long as all the wickets are hit out
meaning
it could last 5 min
or 5 hours
in this case
it was 4 hours for the whole match
painted my face yellow, blue halfway through
had to rub it all off though
paint ran into my eyes
cheering was quite good
except for not cheering with the students
i must say
RI ppl have no idea of how to cheer
they just say their cheers loud
to give them credit
EVERY ONE of their supporters cheer
unlike ours.
nonetheless, seb, rosh, khing and me
were about as loud as the whole gang of RI people
needless to say
when the other prefects strolled over
we beat em flat.
sadly
it wasnt so for the match
a terrible thrashing
sigh
they took it awfully well though
and anyway
great fun showing RI how to do
a REAL cheer.

friday-waterpolo finals
this one we expected to win
then again
we expected to win tennis b
we expected to win cricket b
and the trend continued
6-4 loss to the commies from Chinese high
sigh
as least cheerin was rock on
those commies know how to cheer
but we sent down waaay too many prefects
and a surprisingly enthu sec2 bunch to be beaten
i like li jin
and how he came awfully close into knocking an arrogant chinese high player
into the pool
what a waste.
sigh
then again
that isnt very gentlemanly
oh well
all in the name of good fun
i hear from the old boys
they used to steal flags
at rugby matches
cool.

then again
WE BROKE INTO QUARTS!!!

we defeated rgs to make it to the quarts!
and even though team 2 lost...
THEY STILL ROCK

naturally i finished first
since my case was the most slipshot and messy one

was kinda cool
all three of us working on three diff coms
on three diff cases

satisfaction when we put our applications into the envelopes!

hope the neighbour remembers to deliver the mail...

made friends with all the crazy barker prefects

i envy their board.

we had to do a mass dance thing
with partners
well
samuel + dance + partner= disaster
so you'd be surprised that i had fun

didnt step on anyones toes
so there.

thanks alot to all who have been so worried
about all the
'hate'
and i did think that melissa's tag would have given it away

David Lee- Really God blessed bumping into you! helping us with all the amps and equipment and really injecting life into the worship! you rawk!

Sean Low, Kenneth Khing, Shrey, Arthur- You guys are the best too! carrying all the stuff, helping us communicate with the council and all! no way we could have done anything without you people!

Mr Jon Ng, Unknown BB sergeant, Mr Ivan Sim- needless to say, vespers wouldnt have happened without ur willing loaning of BB equipment!!

All my sec2 brothers!- heh. hope i lifted your spirits..thanks for really putting up with me throughout cheering!

Night out at the shang ri la

acs 118 founders day dinner
sold stuff for about 2, 3 hours?

twas fun
tiring but fun

Rugby on sunday
what can i say?
my last article was dead right
haha
i scored a try in the 10th min or so
NOT some cheapskate
setup try like last week
a REAL quality try
vs saints to boot!

andrew next to me caught the ball
cutting across me
he ran into opposition
so he passed it wide to me
heh
sidestepped one player only to find
another saint right infront of me
so i passed
down the right
but instead of moving the ball down the line
the player cut across me again!
passing to andrew
who passed to and open me!
woo hoo!

nonethelss i jacked myself twice
cos i crossed the line two other times
but i didnt ground the ball!
argh!
and in the last touch
i had a perfect ball!
went straight to my hands
the space was right in front of me
but alas!
in the rain
the ball slipped right behind
when i tried to tuck it!
ARGHHH!
3 tries wasted!
oh well

cos the winger PUSHED
me out of the field
when i was sprinting at an angle
