you know, i've been reading my past entries and i realised i am not very good at writing (okay, proven by my cmi english and gp grades). i think my blog is BORING and UNINTERESTING. why will you guys waste your time here? hahaha i really wonder!

so, my new resolution will be to only blog when i have many pictures to share and when something really interesting happens. those emotional entries shall be written in the old school style - in a notebook i bought.

i have another new resolution too, to write down 10 things that make me happy everyday. hopefully i can stick to this resolution. it acts as a motivation to me and something i can rely on especially on bad days!

i cannot explain how thankful i am as of this moment!

2008 has been a surprisingly good year for me, maybe because after what i've gone through last year, all the gods in the world decided to spare me and let me enjoy a bit. appeal to project and facilities management was successful and i cannot explain how delighted i am. i'm not trying to boast here, but i am very very glad :)

what is coming up might not be easy. i may not be able to slack and ignore things around me like when i was in SIM. there are going to be more assignments and deadlines to be met, lesser time for me to waste myself away.

thinking about it, i have wasted more 1.5 years of my life away (nov 2006 to june 2008) and i have not studied for 1.5 year too! wahahaha.. i hope my brain has not deteriorated! so now, i am trying to write properly and to speak properly. during my interview for pfm, i was surprised that i speak even better than ever. maybe because i have not been speaking much and i have more time to think before i express myself.

i'm not going to pity myself again
i'm not going to grumble and ask god why all the bad stuff is happening to me.

i'm going to learn to be a happy person again. :)

jiejie's wedding

jiejie's wedding! photos up!

okay, now i dunno where i shld start. basically i did not sleep the entire night (like i'm the bride who is having jitters) cuz i was watching croatia vs. turkey. i shall not go into details about the match cuz 1. my last hope (croatia) lost in a very dramatic way 2. the first 118 mins was such a bore! 3. you guys are not interested. haha.

so, i cooked mee sua for my sister (supposed to be done by my mother but she was in such a daze that i offered my help) and the make-up artist reached my place at 5.30am. she was not very professional cuz she was rushing for another assignment at jurong and she did not do a very good job. she asked my sister to put on the gown BEFORE the make up (usually we do make up first then change right? rubbish) and caused many inconvenience... grrr... my sister complained about her after the event but she was not very apologetic. well, she got told off by the bridal studio so we feel slightly better.

then, we heard car horns!

my cousin gary is the golden boy to open the car, while his elder brother andy is the golden boy to open my house door!the army for us (the jiemei-s to tekan later on, haha!)here they come!they por-ed us by buying breakfast like kopi.. but of cuz, we only accept CASH (only EURO, SGD or POUNDS accepted cuz USD has been depreciating like shit) [ps: this is the lesson learnt from my 2nd sister's wedding where her hubby and xiong-di gave me currencies like korean won and indonesia rupiah!]by the look of my face, you know how SUCKY the ang bao is. $8! since the ang bao suck...i forced them to SUCK the lemon! but sadly, the 2nd ang bao was only $18 and they talked alot of rubbish. i rebutted by saying that their mouth stink so...i forced them to brush their teeth with the deadly wasabi!see he enjoyed so much! [ps: i know him 11 years ago so that explains why i am comfortable feeding him with lemon and brush his teeth. don anyhow think and btw he is also 11 years older than me HAHA]my sister enjoyed it too cuz she can finally do this after her wedding.

as you can see i am trying to wipe my face at the background cuz the guy who i brushed his teeth earlier, he wiped the wasabi off and was caught by me so he disgustingly brushed his finger filled with the wasabi from his teeth onto my cheeks! OMG I WAS SCREAMING!

subsequent ang bao sucks and we found out cousin gary's ang bao for opening the car door was $88!! so we complained!!!

after giving all the ang bao and shouting 10 things my newly crowned brother in law (billy) likes about my sister (faith), the brothers went crazy when we were trying to let the 2 jiemei-s (who were late as they lost their way) into the room first.i done my part by pulling them back and i succeeded!by this time, billy's shirt was already soaked!YAY!!do you see what's missing on the above picture?yes, my brother in law kenneth. my 2nd sister (joni) COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN about him until billy said "eh joni, where is kenneth ah?" the whole house burst into laughter! [ps: my eldest sister had to work that day and she only came back about 12pm]then, it was time to go!after they went off (about 8.30am), my cousins, my sister+ kenneth and me startd mahjong! we played until 3pm (remb i didnt sleep at all? hahaha)not forgetting our macdonald breakfast!
can you believe they are brothers? hahaha!they went for outdoor shoot at seletar airport!there were 8 cars (excluding the convertible). when my dad asked me how many cars they will be driving and i said 8, he shouted "SIAO AH???"see my shades! cooooooooooooool can!after this, they had tea ceremony at their new house.billy's parents!this girl is billy's cousin. her hair clips are so cute lah!

my 'very cute' lakeside grand uncle!once a maid, forever a maid :( hahahayucks this shot is so ugly :smy step grandma's turn!everyone was laughing cuz when billy and faith said "grand uncle drink the tea!", grand uncle said "THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH" in english! so cute lah he is 90+ already!my 1st an 3rd uncleandy and gary's parentsmy sister who is acting idiotic as usual

and then.......................................................IT WAS MY TURN! i had to shout JIE FU and JIE JIE loudly for the 2nd time! very weird feeling cuz i address my sisters as their names or nicknames, haha!then it was my cousin's turn. they were so shy that they are shivering very very badly! hahaha

once again, we never manage to take any family photo cuz my eldest sis was not present. luckily, the dinner is in sept and it will not be as busy so hopefully we can take TONNES of family photo!

heh heh. i spent my day doing housework for my sister at her house cuz she was so tired from the wedding that she did not clean her house thoroughly. i managed to hop onto the convertible for a spin and took many pics! *very happy*

the convertible is very very very low. i can hardly climb out of the car! and it is a selfish 2 seater! that day my sister was trying to ferry me to potong pasir mrt station i had to sit on my sister's lap! and the most pathetic thing occured to me cuz there was hardly any space for me to lift my heads up so i had to lie facing down and attracted many stares from people on the roads.. but thats not all. billy dropped me at the 'very crowded' bus stop instead of the 'empty' taxi stand. imagine i had to CLIMB out of the car and faced so many people. *piang piang piang*

wow. this is a long post! well i am excited for my trip to bangkok next week! and guess what? there might be a trip to bintan with kim and co. hopefully it will materialise. hehe. check out my blog for more happenings (i hopeeeeeeeeee there will be interesting ones) so stay tune!
