a pretty exciting weekend

driving on friday was pretty bad cuz my instructor said i have slow reaction =( lol. although it is a fact i already knew, i don't wan to be the road obstruction at ubi!!! whenever i have to change my gear, my car slowed down so much tt i'm worried the vehicles behind me will hit my butt (i mean the car's). boo~

after driving, my mum told me she's going lakeside to visit my granduncle and grandauntie but i was so lazy to take the bus-train-bus ride so i gave it a miss, until i saw her at chinatown she told me she took a cab there -_-"

i went chinatown with my mother and 3 other sisters to squeeze with the crowd. what is chinese new year when you don visit chinatown? as usual, we spent so much money buying rubbish (eg. the decoration). now my corridor is like mini-chinatown can.

i risked my life to hang those things when i am afraid of the height. and i live on the 13th storey.

chinatown has mickey and minnie decorations all over the place, which is SO BRIGHT!

i bought a dress, a wallet and a top from OG and it cost me near to $200. after i told my sister how much i spent, she said she will get me OG vouchers next time. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

met up with my sec 4 classmates on sat for dinner. however, everyone started pangseh-ing when i sms to remind them in the afternoon so the total attendance is 13 people. kudos to enghoe, boon ming, edward, , bernard, kim, rachel, wanlin, jilian, eliza, xingxiu, jinpei, myself and sujing! did i miss out anyone?

the next day, i finally met up with esther and kah after 7 months absence! hahahaha. we talked/gossip/bitch so much that we forgot to take a picture together, and this was the only pic we took yesterday.

toast that looked like tofu after i cut them up. hehehe.

after meeting them, i went to my sis's place and slack. i bought mac and i saw this CURLEEEEEEEEEEEE fries which is so damn curly!

i was so bored at her house that i started to do stupid things like this.

school is extremely boring. huiqing taught yiqi and me a new way to 'communicate' in lecture other than using paper! using ds!

BOWEN SECONDARY SCHOOL MEMORIES~

as you know i was madly in love with beckham since secondary 2. and this was what i did to my exercise books! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
TWELFTH NIGHT!!!! I STILL KEEP IT!!! notes (actually, it is the translation of what the pple were talking. let music be the food of love, play on~)
I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS BOOK CAN!!!!!lol.oh i remembered this. we (kim, me, rach, wanlin n charmaine i think) was late for lesson after recess and jermaine scolded us like some murderer who just committed murder. that day was the day i stated to hate chemistry (n her :S)i wrote everyone's birthday down!hahahahahahhaa one of the most important day of my life! so kua zhang!this was how enthu i was. omg! hahahaha!one of the most colourful page!my autograph books! HAHAHAHA!! i love the snow white one the most!ohhh! my sec 1 art project! and i loveeeee miss looi's handwriting lah!
and omg lor. i was so shock that i kept this! it was given out to me on my first day at mjc!

i'm so happy to find them all. and yes i found my secondary school report book too hehe!

jay chou's concert 19.01.08

singing: 6/10 (sad to say, he only sang a couple all-time classic! and he forgot lyrics for many songs..)
props: 8/10 (he splurged quite alot of money on fireworks and the costumes i think. he changed an outfit every 2 songs)
mood: 7/10 (i was 10/10 for s.h.e concert hahaha. but this time even i went with another 2 super high friends it wasnt as great!)
dancing/stunts: 9/10 (i nv see jay breakdance before and it was pretty awesome! and his granny danced too! oh yeah, he performed 'che ling' too!)

the concert was quite short, he only sang 24 songs and only a couple made me really happie like 安静, 退后 and 开不了口. he didnt sing hui dao guo qu, long juan feng, shi jie mo ri, shan hu hai (and WHEN LARA IS THE SPECIAL GUEST HOW DUMB HOW DUMB!!!!), qing tian, feng, jian dan ai, ai zai xi yuan qian! =(=(=(

my sisters + friends + her hubby all agreed that the concert was too short and we were pretty disappointed.

i'm going ktv to satisfy my hunger for the songs above, and other good songs of his soon. boohoo! $140.. only $80 well-spent.

i felt like a loser today when i walked towards a classmate of mine asking her if she is attending the class gathering organised by me.

it just makes me so FAKE. arrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~ i felt so terrible! hai, it is so lame to feel this way. =(

and i lost my driving tracking booklet. how do i go for driving when i don have that book? maybe it is under the boxes infront of me now... and there are more than 10 cartons. i wont be able to recover until next tuesday if i decided to be efficient and clear the things.

and today's 1.5hour bus ride made my mood even worst. pui.

CUZ HER WEDDING ALBUM IS SO BEAUTIFUL! not your typical "see here smile!!!!!!" or "say cheeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

in fact, she didnt smile in most of her pictures, all are act cool kind, just like how she used to teach us art in secondary 1. omg she is my favourite art teacher (and probably my whole class)

i want that photographer!!! but i wonder will he/she be retired by the time i get married? i hope not =(

continuation of my sister's wedding - photos taken by professional but cropped by unprofessional me. hahaha. i will only narrate some of the pics.. like gatecrashing lah hor. better quality pics on facebook!

bottom left: the items we prepared for the groom and his brothers. they must eat 4 items and each of them represents sour, sweet, bitter and spicy, which i heard from others that it symbolises the ups and downs of life. so we prepared lime juice (bird nest bottle), coke (but they have to drink it from a very long straw we made), plain bittergourd (wanted to put kaya but think it will be too gross) and strawberry stuffed with lots of wasabi.

top left: now you know how long the straw is. they never even manage to drink 100ml lah!
top right: the first ang bao, which is 2 big sweep ticket!
bottom left: strawberry with wasabi haha!
bottom right: 2nd angbao, $2 each!

top left: the "bird nest"
top right: 3rd ang bao, 5000 korean won = S$7.67!
bottom right: the guy on the extreme right was eating the bittergourd. but at the same time, they had to 'melt' the ice because the housekey is inside!
bottom left: 5th ang bao $88 (4th ang bao was 50000 rupiah = S$7.65)

the last ang bao is $188! so we are quite rich after that. hehehehe. enjoy the pics below!

my sister went for some 'feng-shui' course today with her bf and this is her summary for the upcoming (lunar) year for me.

all good for dragon babies except that i must stick/cling to my friends and not isolate myself.

lol.

i'm so bored but i don feel like going out, especially town. oh well, i love my house although it is collapsing. oh ya, my mother managed to fix the wardrode! omg! no idea how she did it but.. i'm still getting a new wardrode. now, shld i get a tv and isolate myself from my whole family? hahahaha...

suddenly in the mere 10 days i finally straighten out what i've been thinking since jc1. how important these 10 days have been.

i wanted my next entry to be the photos of those taken by the photographer during my sister's wedding but the photographer was uncontactable. so i decided to blog about some random stuff before you guys forget my blog. :D

well, a couple of things BROKE after my sister's wedding. and it is very uncommon to have 2 things which break down in my room in a matter of days. first, it was my wardrode in my room. one night, my sisters and i heard a loud bang but we couldnt see what actually dropped on the floor or anywhere until we opened the wardrode. the hanging pole collapse!! so now it is still at the position, cuz we are too lazy to deal with it for now hahaha.

then it came yesterday night again, in my room, there is a loud cracking sound followed by my sister's screaming that the fan broke. the rotating part of the fan broke!!! i dunno how it happened but... it is quite scary. sigh. my house (or rather room) is collapsing. my sister and i were speculating what will be the item that will break. hahahaha.

i went for some funiture window shopping with my sister today and i cannot wait to move into my own room! hai, but it will take another few months i think. well, i ought to be sad cuz my 2 sisters are moving but i am happy cuz i finally have my own room. and yes, my dad cheated my feelings cuz i have decided on the 2 TVs to get but he lied again. well, i think i will just drag my mum to the shop someday and pay for it, or rather, i will just pay and pester them for the money. hiak hiak.

oh well, i am starting to believe i am a pig in my previous life (lives) cuz i'm eating so damn much and i feel hungry within 2 hours after a meal. can someone cure this disease of mine? i cannot stop eating!!!!!

suddenly i have the urge to d my statistic tutorial. this is lame considering the fact that i do so badly for my POA and i am not doing the tutorial but rather i am doing the stats one. and reality check, prelims in 6 weeks according to my limited friends in SIM. oh ya, i just paid 2k for my exams fee. UOL is a sucker school. they shld teach students how to suck money like they do instead of imparting them the knowledge like accounting. booooooooooooooo~

and btw, i'm enjoying friends so much! heehee. i love joey and phoebe!

yeah my sister's weddingis finally over!!!!!!!!! but another one is in june. at least i have experience now.

too much things to comment.. and for the fact that i was busy i hardly used my camera so i only have 2 pictures of myself (that pathetic, and both not from my camera) for the dinner. anyway, I COULD NOT RECOGNISE MYSELF. neither can ANY of my relatives. i stoned for 1 hour plus after looking at the mirror. for more photos, i will have to see if the photographer decided to be efficient or not.

maybe i can blog a little about 'behind the scenes' hahaha!

ps: if you dunno which one is me, IT'S OKAY. cuz i got a big big big shock when i saw myself on the mirror and i stoned 1 hour after that. everyone was saying "omg are you a japanese or a korean?" and my sister's irritating friend actually sang "wo bu xiang wo bu xiang bu xiang zhang da" VERY LOUDLY repeatedly. *@#&#@#^*@# and people/relatives started to say "who are you?"

hai hahahahah~ paiseh to the max. and i was so high yesterday, many throw face moments of me (as usual) hopefully i can upload the better pictures very soon!

this is me in the morning, when i was free from the heavy make-up. but, WHAT THE HAIR. ahahahaha!

well.. the wedding will not be possible without the help of many people, GOD of weather, GOD of health... and many others. luckily, weather was perfect, most guests turned up and enjoyed themselves, lots of cam-whoring and shouting 'huat ah" led by me, speaking of hokkien to my elder relatives which they could barely understand. need to apologise to those who i never talk to but my family and i appreciated your presence and your ang baos! hahahaha... health wise, not everyone was healthy. my bro-in-law had sore throat and was not in the best state, her mum and bro got flu (i heard) and my sister.... well you have to view the below yourself.

she fell from the stairs exactly 1 week before the wedding and it was so bad! after daily visits to the sinseh and many disgusting treatments, she managed to walk on her 6-inches high (15cm) heels the whole day. *kudos to her* another example to verify the quote "women will risk their lives for beauty's sake"

though there were lots of misunderstandings, lack of communication, last minute hiccups but i am glad they are accounted for and we will be better prepared for the next wedding. let this be a learning experience for myself and my family! =)

anyway, i went for lecture today after 2 weeks of holiday! and HUIQING was so excited and she cannot wait to pass me the present she got for me in japan! but to her disappointment, i saw it before she revealed to me personally.
