S.H.E PLAY CONCERT

>> Sunday, July 29, 2007

awww... it was a disappointing concert i felt. it felt like "they want to finish the concert asap to rest cuz ella and hebe were having a flu". the sound system was quite bad, the screens at the side were lagging (initially zh and i thought they were lipsyncing!).. the moment i was really high shld be the opening.. i screamed like mad dog zh cannot take it.. i am a trained OGL.. hahaha.. :D the concert is not even 20% of the concert we went in jan. not high one :(

we reached expo at 5.30pm.. and stood for an hour doing nothing except taking some random shots and reading papers/fhm. and i shouted "SMALLCOX" so loudly in the middle of nowhere.. when we first reached, we thought only 1k pple were infront of us and we considered ourselves quite early. when the queue started moving at 6.45 (supposed to be 6.30) and to our horror, we saw 2k pple infront of us! apparently there's a blindspot which can accomodate another 1k pple.. sucks man.

by the time zh and i really sian diao and our conclusion: when we want to watch a concert next time, it must be a VIP seating (if free) or paid tickets. i have enough of FREE SEATING. fish leong's one is not that badddddddddddd...
we went (ran) in at 7.30 and grabbed a 'okok seat'. during the whole concert we were standing on chairs cuz everyone at our block is doing that. ok let me show u some pics i'm sick of describing. but the live version of laopo and shuo ni ai wo were really good. the only 2 which i think was the best throughout the whole concert.

people infront of me. it looks 1k right. but it is 2k. another 1k hiding at the blindspot ard the corner.maybe another 1k behind me. by the time the queue started moving, there is another queue right beside us. maybe another 2k.
my seat. look how farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! and so many people infront of me.
and the people behind. all look so sian.
the best shot we took. singing wu yue tian!

Lao Po 'live' version recorded by zh using my camera. hahahaa. visually not vvvv gd cuz we had to zoom but the sound is good! this is the only song no one scream or sing along.

kk gtg. prepare for school tml. wahlao.

10 SIGNS YOU'RE A TRUE BLUE SINGAPOREAN

>> Friday, July 27, 2007

(ADAPTED FROM FEMALE, AUG 07)

1. You order chili with everything.
2. You'll find somewhere to shop, even if you're in the middle of a desert.
3. You queue for hours (even days!) for a big sale.
4. You'd rather enrol in a slimming centre than work out to lose weight.
5. You say "lah" a lot.. and you're not even singing!
6. You have to be the first in line at a buffet.
7. You know that "Want to buy a house together?" is boyfriend-speak for "Will you marry me?"
8. You say something's "not bad" when it's actually quite good.
9. You let your man carry your handbag.
10. You "chope" a table at a hawker centre with a packet of tissue paper.

I love 5 so much. hahaha.

i just went to his blog. i almost mistaken it as a porn site! can't he just paragraph his chunks of rubbish? now i understand why mr michael and mrs seng always nag us for not using paragraphs.

COMPLAIN.

>> Monday, July 23, 2007

sometime it sucks when everyone push all the responsibilities to you and they just ignore everything. when you just need their help for a moment, they will say 'why not you ask the rest to do it?"

to me, if it is for my dearest friends, i will do it without any complain. but, is it all my responsibility? hais. forget it lah. i think employing my own service is so much easier than asking for help.

/added

买东西 吃东西 买东西 吃东西!

>> Thursday, July 19, 2007

my flight on sat was 8.30am and landed hong kong about 12.30pm. poor zh, he wanted to go airport and give me a big ang bao but he overslept! haha.. though i left hk airport by 1.30pm, i only checked into my hotel at 6pm. CAN YOU IMAGINE.

firstly, the jam was terrible. i was stucked in traffic for an hour when i was 5 minutes walk away. the number of cars, traffic lights and the road structure were so bad that even i had the urge to walk to hotel myself although the heat outside was 33 deg. the damage of my taxi ride: HK$400 = S$80. secondly, my hotel is screwed. they didnt prepare the connecting rooms we wanted and apparantly we waited 2 hours plus before we got 2 rooms. wait and wait and wait.. and i didnt sleep at all on the plane nor did i eat anything. we were 4 hungry ghosts by the time we reached the cha chan teng (cafe) for our first meal at 5pm.

look how shag we were.

my room. it's damn small.

and my room is beside the lift lobby. imagine me being naked (ok this wont happen) and walking around the hotel room.

i told u adidas (or rather liverpool) is everywhere

we (used to) have seiyu. they have 'seibu'! (the security guard stopped me from taking the pic but cuz he couldnt speak mandarin or english so he had no choice. heeheehee)

this is one of the best shopping centre. i have no idea how many storeys the mall has but at least 15. just look at the direct escalator which brings you 4 storeys at a go! it has so many shops! for the football fanatic, it will make u mad! like me i only left one of the shop when they have to close at 11 plus.

carrot cake and gyoza at 'xu liu san'

the menu.

OMG. DON'T THEY JUST MAKE U DROOL LIKE MAD?

just look at my sister's exaggerating expression.

stars' walk. look at the number of people on a HOT

one of the star's handprint and signature. maggie cheung

the weather is so hot that my sis's bf turned into a bangladesh worker.

next we went yum cha in the afternoon at some secluded restaurant. the waitress again had no idea what we were saying so we anyhow ordered. sorry that pic was taken after we finished stuffing ourselves with food like roasted goose, roasted PIGEON, har gao, siew mai blah blah blah.

the pigeon's head. both the goose and the pigeon taste like duck, not much difference.

the vandalism is so bad! initially i thought the sticker (translation: do not fart) was on all the traffic light but it is not! and 99% of them don't work.

the HUGE LV.. wahhhh.. and it is the latest design too.

you can more-or-less gauge their english standard when you try to look around the shop names..

this is how they 'advertise' rental for shop space. they stick that red paper outside the shop and there are 2 people sitting in the shop like some idiot and feeding the mosquitoes, waiting for potential tenants. low efficiency.

the worst cha chan teng! pls do not go there the waiters suck!

this is one of the best MTR (mrt) station in hk but i forgot which one is it. hahaha. it has travellators! i thought this can only be seen at places like airport and... douby ghaut. haha (ignore my sister haha)

as the weather was so hot and dry, we decided to eat the herbal jelly. look at the interior! it is along the street stalls leh!

i got a shock when i saw this cuz i ordered the small one and it looks so big and so 'full'.

i finished it in 10 mintues. it was the MOST BITTER herbal jelly i've eaten. the amount of honey i ate is more than the jelly. hahahaha

the BESTTTTTTTTTTT breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the abalone and ham macoroni so much! coupled with double fried eggs, toast, iced milk tea! i finished everything myself leh but i got diarrhoea cuz i was too full. hahaha. guessed how much the set cost? HK$22!!! that is S$4! i love the cha chan teng opposite my hotel!!!!!!

this is S$3.

on the train to the big budhha. and also the shopping mall with lots of factory outlets!

does this look like east coast to you? the stop-gap measure to coastal erosion? hahahaha...

and this looks like the fountain outside vivocity.

/disgress abit

we took a 1 hour bus up to the big buddha.. and you know on our way back to the 'vivocity', there were 3 causasian ladies on the bus sitting in the middle (i was sitting right at the back). everyone was resting and some choose to take a short nap and you know what they did? they actually took down the pictures of those sleeping and started laughing.. and when i was resting my eyes, i 'saw' a flash and the moment i opened my eyes i saw their camera smacked infront of me! you know how much i wanted to confront them? crap! and the lady sitting beside them had motion sickness so she vomitted, they started to have disgusted faces. omg.. they totally suck. and the best thing? i saw them at changi airport before i reached the immigration. SAME FLIGHT!!!!

HELLO!

one of the many temples

the interior

the vegetarian food we paid for.

raffles place! nah it is their CBD area, central.

the tram to the peak! omg the stupid tram station is sooooooooooooooo far away from the central mrt station lah. wahpiang.

the night scenary at the peak. nothing spectacular leh i feel. but the air and wind is cooooooooool! shiok!

another temple next to the mrt station. something like our si ma lu. but the scary thing is the hawkers will actually stuff the incense and forced u to buy. :S

the doraemon movie! too bad singapore is not showing :(

people everywhere and anywhere at any time of the day. :S

they advertise ANYTHING (and whatever).

the result of unplanned land use and structures. :S please appreciate our government now.

this is how they sell poultry :S

never get a chance to sit on this tram this time round cuz we had no idea when to alight. haha. the interesting thing about this is that, you only pay when you alight. it's 40 cents for adults and 20 cents for child. the CHEAPEST (but dunno will bring you to where) mode of transport.

looked at how they cross the roads. they don look out for traffic and cars actually dont horn them. if you do this in spore, i'm sure 10 cars will horn you together! and yes, the flyer distributors! they have lots of people holding the placards (like how some of u did for OCBC tt time). it's ALL OVER THE PLACE!

even aaron kwok sacrificed.

this is one of the stupid-est advertisement. in hk, you can actually trade in your old bra and get discount off new bras. :S i pity the auntie.

the roadside stalls selling food. it is super dirty and unhygienic but i still ate it everyday without fail. hahahaha

the map in their stations. this is actually something singapore shld adopt so that visitors have an idea what to expect. and look how they name their streets. 'wash clothes street'

lol. go there if you want to have one night stand. it leads to a very dark alley... eeeee....

the new bossini! it's green and this outlet has 4 storeys can! it has escalators.. and so is the watsons here. siao! in singapore the bossini looks like they are going to close down any moment but it is still thriving in hk!

lol. do u actually remembered how those hk drama always got the ICAC part towards the finale? the ICAC office is situated at the first storey of a ulu residential builing. not even an office building can!

that's my hotel for you. it looks posh but it is not. i give 2.5 star MAX MAX MAX for this 4 star hotel.

before we left the hotel.. we goggled all the food again! hahaha. this is the egg and ham sandwich.

their ice lemon tea. at any of their cafes their ice lemon tea owns the whole singapore.

YU DAN!!!!!!!!!! my favourite hk snack! die die die die die also must eat at least 1 stick a day! it is basically fishball but not as chewy and not as hard as meatball. YUM. i am craving for it now :(:(:(

their egg pancake. i bought it cuz i found it cute.

cuz we were so sick of chinese food (ironically), we went airport damn early (in case of traffic jam) but we reached there at 4.30pm when we are supposed to check in at 6pm. hahaha. so we went food hunting for KFC but there isn't any. we settled for.... POPEYE!

their popeye is much much much more crispy than spore's but also alot saltier. but i like it!

and to end the LONGEST ENTRY EVER BLOGGED... i have some great buys to share. hahaha

the tiffany anklet! HAHAHAH! it is only S$4! buy and wear for once i also happy! their box and paper bag looks so real lah!

the mickey ring i got for myself to compensate the fact that i didnt visit disneyland. but who wants to go to hk one when you went to japan's before?!

some other great buys included 5 tops from esprit which only cost me S$80, demin jeans and skirt, and 3/4 from esprit about $20 each, demin shorts for $12, converse canvas for 20, 2 adidas jackets for 50.... and the list goes on.

I'M BROKE! hahahahhaa! ok guess you are going blind soon cuz i am! have fun if you're planning to go hk it's worth it! i spent about 1.6k.. :( my own $$~~~~ my SQ flight cost 500, 5d4n 4 star hotel cost 400, food about 200, shopping about 400. oh yes before i forget, the average price for a meal is $10 and you know the jap food at hk is sooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap! we ate at a japanese conveyor belt restaurant before we check out. the sashimi and sushi is half the price of sakae's but the portion is twice as big! 4 person ate and it cost less than S$10 a person! where to find lahhhhhhhh!

i love hk! but i wont go there in another 5 yrs lah. haha. till then! i totally followed the hong kong shopping festival's slogan,

买东西 吃东西 买东西 吃东西!~~~ (buy and eat and buy and eat!)

should i do a GOODs and BADs of hong kong? maybe i will. haha.
