the only thing which made my day was probably these drawings by me when i was in secondary 1. i found a bag which is full of my secondary 1 schoolwork! and my math is really good lor *haolian* 47/50 for every math test, science also not bad leh 22.5/25. but i failed my geography (40.5/100). so, can someone please enlighten me why i chose arts and take geography? =)

woah. after 2 days of file sharing, i finally got the photos from rach's camera! yeah!!! however, eliza is nowhere to be found. eliza come online quickly lahs!

this year's chalet is planned since last year. ok actually we promised to have a chalet every year and everyone DIE DIE must accomodate a day for the chalet. however, tzeye is in china doing her attachment so she is not with us this year. but its okay! there will be another one next year!

the gift exchange this year is slightly different from last year's. the proper gift exchange this year, each of us will write on the paper what we want and our partner will buy us the thing we requested. this is to avoid the partner from going crazy while searching for the present, and also to prevent recycling (by giving to other people who needs it more) HAHAHAHA.

after many attempts, kim couldnt find the coupons wanlin wanted. after seeking tina's help she managed to find those pamphlets for wanlin! HAHAHA. in the end, kim got her a cashcard LOL

the braclet kim got frm rach. actually there's another one which kim liked and she told rach abt it (she didnt know rach was her partner) but rach hated that and she couldnt lie to herself to buy the "ugly" braclet for kim's sake. so she choose this one instead. hahahaha

in case u didnt realise, all of us were wearing the new m&m's tee from bossini, thanks to rach and kim. initially our dresscode theme was 'old school' as suggested by huiting. the shirt cost $13.30 and we wasted alot of saliva to psycho wanlin, charmaine and huiting to get the shirt. HAHA.

throughout the chalet, we gambled (which is a MUST), played stupid jacky wu's game which u watch on tv, talked/chat in 2 different cliques (internal split), watched kakashi until we fell asleep, exposing each other's clevages and R(A) moments, wrestling... hahahaha. oh well, the new programme we added was "talent-time"!

it was suggested by charmaine but most of us didnt prepare anything. in fact, all of us wanted to cancel it off but a few of us decided to fool rachel and ranitha (they are in a group)! hahaha.. we set a trap for them but OUR DEAR JIN PEI was not paying attention and in the end, JINPEI AND ME had to perform first! i almost fainted can. hahahaa. so we performed william hung's version of 'she bangs' and it was a disaster lah. kns. next was rani and rach, dancing indian dance, then eliza and kim utilised their marching skills during guide's days and also their beatboxing skills. xiu n ting sang grasshopper's 'ai bu pa' accompanied with dance. lastly, our dearest charmaine n wanlin sang (and with lots of lame actions) 'tian tian ye ye'. after a fierce competition, my grp got 2 votes and charmaine's grp got 3! they won $15 cash.

another highlight of the day was our 'rubbish gift exchange'. but sadly, someone knocked out door and told us to SHUT UP when it was only 1am. last year our door got knock at 3am so we thought 1am is too early. LOL. (and who the hell sleep during chalet? pls lah!!! okay maybe wanlin she was in coma most of the time) anyway, it kind of made us tone down cuz we are not supposed to talk as loudly as we usually do. the gift exchange was done almost in silence, which practically never happen when there is our existence.

rubbish gift exchange this year was not as 'high' as last year cuz nothing will win rach's washing machine pipe. actually, this year's gifts brought more sweet memories for us! the rubbish gift we must get this year must be related to 'old school'

charmaine got a head band. well, to me this fits 'retro' more

rachel got these 'fatty pork' handphone decorations. seriously i dunno how it is related to the theme HAHA

kim bought the tidbits we used to eat when we were young. look at the '8' chocolate!lol. eliza actually bought the slippers you see people wearing last time. and she can actually find it!

wanlin got the 'cigarette' candy (with bob dog on the cover. OMG BOB DOG LEH!!!! my favourite cartoon when i was a kid) and bee bee 10 cents tidbit!

the winner must be huiting cuz she actually found the colourful ring which we always have in primary school, the paper ball which you must blow to inflate it, the bubble you must blow but it smells like shit as well as sparkles!

jinpei bought a fishing net~ it reminds us how people used to catch fish when they were young (maybe not our era lah hor?)

haha! jinpei can actually fit into the specs xingxiu bought! too bad xiu never buy the one which we can 'open and close'

rani bought the bottle. i think it is some soap

hahaha! i bought the happy meal and gave the toys away! i specially asked for the box when i called the delivery number. the person must be thinking that i am mad.

aye. i dunno what to blog about except that i went shopping with aifung on friday.. but i felt like shit so i went home around 8 plus. =( the feeling was terrible... hai. this is probably the first time i felt so helpless in my entire life. i wanted to take a cab but as usual town is flooded. i had to resort to call a cab in the toilet cuz i had the feeling that 'i'm going to vomit soon' and i shouldn't dirty the roads. hahahaha. i'm so considerate.

luckily, the cab driver drove very fast and smoothly. but the most paiseh part is that i lacked $1 to pay the uncle. so i was busy digging out some money... and a $10 saved me. i couldnt bear to use it at all and kept it there all the while. but, i was too sick to go to the atm to withdraw any money.. so i walked home.. and realised no one is at home! i had no keys!!! (u) my eldest sis is in town, 2nd sis in town having her dinner and dance, 3rd sis overseas, parents went to my relative's house to distribute invitation cards. WAHLAO. can u imagine.

luckily, i was feeling much better and my eldest sister cabbed back to open the door for me. hai. the experience scare me so much that i had to reject sharon's date yesterday. so i went to a couple of relative's houses yesterdayto distribute the wedding cakes and cards with my sister and mum. and later we are going to my maternal side relatives.

i haven got the present my gift exchange partner wants leh. hai. i'm going to kill her during the chalet for giving me this task. LOL

aye. i'm so upset now that i want to rant every bit i can here. i'm really disappointed at my parents again. they are doing things which are eroding my respect for them.

once again it is over my sister's wedding (which is about 2 weeks away) as they are giving my sister this 'i cannot be bothered that my daughter is getting married' attitute. you know initially when my sister asked my parents about the banquet, my parents told my sister (i was a witness) "aiyah don need lah don need to invite any relative it is so troublesome" but my sister, and my other sisters know that my parents' words are unreliable. so my sister set aside 5 tables for them. that was september i think.

then, when we went food tasting, my dad gave the 'i don want to entertain u' expression which made my sister embarrassed as her fiance's parents were there and it is not very nice. then these few days, we were quarrelling about the guest list and the invitation cards. a simple thing like invitation cards, my parents need to ask this long-distant relative of ours to "write" the cards.

"WE DON'T HAVE HANDS MEH WHY NEED OTHER PPLE TO WRITE?" that was what i asked them. then they gave reasons like "you need to address those elderly properly and not just their names..... blahhhhhhhhhhhhh" till today, 9th december, the cards are not even written when the wedding dinner is on 2nd january.

today's argument is over the number of tables. now my parents want my sister to set aside 10 tables for them and it really made my sister crazy because the ballroom is only able to fit 25 tables and now it amounts to 30. although the ballroom can be changed, but the venue of the ballroom has been printed on the invitation card..

why can't my parents understand the whole situation and gave us all the shit? firstly, they don wan to confirm which relatives are going. and they don wan to confirm WHO will be going and just saying things like "aiyah if they never go i'll just pay for the extra tables". it is not a matter of money but also the trouble for my sister, the hotel and all other parties involved.

hais. it's really saddening to see how my parents are reacting when they ought to be excited and happy that this is the first time they are marrying their daughter. and the next sister's wedding is not far away. hai. i wonder by the time i get married, will my parents show some concern and "excitement". poor sister and brother-in-law. they are having so many problems everywhere, be it their wedding... their house... i really hope i can help them as much as i can to lessen their load and problems. my parents are hopeless.

this is like the first time i am really "sad" to have this kind of parents. i've always look up to my parents but.. hai. am i revealing too much personal stuff here? hai. i don care :(

ok enough of sad things. yesterday i went kim's house with jinpei to bake some cupcakes. to my horror, i arrived kim's house before kim reached her house so i started shouting at the door "kai weiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" and her mum replied "kai wei went out haven't come home yet!" wahseh, so paiseh can. kns kns. then jinpei keep laughing at me. lol.

so we spent 1.5hour sifting the flour and cocoa powder due to kim's inefficient sieve, and took turns to mix the stuff and to bake. the outcome is not too bad although we suspected kim to convert the quantities of the ingredients wrongly but i'm still fine now. we're definitely not going to be prima-deli number 2 :)

today we are supposed to have a cycling outing but due to bad response, bad weather and for the fact that i was lying on my bed when everyone started asking me if the outing is confirmed, it was cancelled. i spent my afternoon watching those repeated channel 8 shows like the unbeatables and wok of life. oh gosh how i missed those shows! i think the shows last time are much nicer and funnier, unlike dramas now which are full of exaggerating expression and dull plots. i'm definitely watching tomorrow's star awards!

went to tampines to meet my sister and her 'jie-mei' for the wedding. anyone has any fantastic ideas for gate crashing? my brother-in-law's gang like very pro leh... then my sister's jie-mei like very weak so we must jiayou at gate crashing so tt we wont be so tiu lian. ok to end the post, i shall post a pic of my sister's wedding photo! (not like u guys are interested but i think the photo is very nice! hahahaha)

didnt go for stats lecture yesterday cuz yiqi and huiqing woke up late (i woke up just in time! hahaha) so yiqi and i went for today's instead as our dear huiqing overslept again but ITS OK!

after the boring stats leture, i went amk hub with 1 objective in time - to get my icing sugar. 1 OBJECTIVE I STRESS AGAIN. ok maybe another one is to top up my ezlink. well well, i spent closed to $50 when my objective is just to spend $3. *bleahhh* and how ironic it is as NTUC is my LAST STOP! -_-"

so i made my icing and cupcakes today. FAILURE! (u) my icing taste okay but i had no idea how to correct the quantity for the icing, egg white and butter. hai. and the thickness is not right too. when i decorate it, i dont feel like eating already because it looks tooooooooooo sweet to be eaten. hai~ there goes my icing. maybe i shld really analyse it by investing in a book. but i hate reading :x

and.. my BTT is this coming thurs but i still cannot differentiate double yellow line, single yellow, single white, BLAHHHH. all the lines are making me mad. i wonder how can i handle clutch. lol. but teebang jiayou!!!

oh ya, abt my health, i feel better le. thanks friends! but my throat and nose still got that irritating phlgem/similar-irritant stucked there. appetite has returned but i am sad that i did not lose alot of weight despite living like a zombie for 5 days. only 1kg! meaning 200g per day!!!!!!!!!! and i can easily gain 1kg a day. sigh. but its okay, i love myself.

my sister got a lobang for me! promotor from friday to tuesday, 11-8. selling some net to prevent mosquito. pay is good! $80 per day and commission for each net sold is $5!!! even if i don sell any, i will still get $400! but still need to confirm again, and she has to work on sat for me if possible cuz i don wan to miss poa lecture. :( booboo.

actually i have no mood to blog. but a dog came to my house again how can i not blog??!?!!

okay this time, the dog didnt bark unlike ken ken in august. it was my mama who spotted it.

the dog is so ke lian can. it was loitering at my corridor.. and shivering like mad when i tried to sayang him/her. (i think it is a her cuz the name is candy)

when candy saw my dad, it ran away but i managed to "recall" her back. hahas. then it was lying flat at the corridor for a good 1 hour.. i walked around my block to check if anyone lost their dog (ok i only went 1 level down hahaha) but everything is calm. my mum told me she saw the dog somewhere before so she wanted me to "bring" candy to find its owner.. but candy wont move! when we walked near her, she trembled like mad. haiii.. damn sad. so my mum INSTRUCTED me to carry it down. boooo.

when we were at the void deck, i heard 1 dog running very fast and so is the owner. so i asked the owner if her dog is missing and bingo i was right! so we directed them where i left the dog and tadah! candy is found!

i'm so worried before i found the owner.. because i doubt the owner can find candy as she don't bark and she is gong. haahahaha.. she just lie there and never do anything. unlike ken ken who was barking like there's no tml and thats how the owner found him. i even went spca's website to find out the ways to help candy. LOL. and tried stupid names like"ah boy and ah girl" to test her name. lol. well, the most scary thing is that the dog keep jumping and it jumped so high that it can easily jump down from 13th storey!!! *cannot imagine if that happened*

ok la, i'm glad that the owner found her dog, the mother dog found her daughter. and i've helped a dog. da jia huan xi!

why that title? hahaha. it's quite spastic actually. i got to know that tina is interested to attend culinary classes at CCs so i discussed with her which CC are recruiting.. and we were like 2 aunties SURFING passion card's website together. actually, not only passion card but PHOON HUAT's too. -_-"

anyway, that's not the most impt part. we managed to find out that punggol 21 cc has a 'variety baking class' and we are super excited cuz it only cost $80 (we are loyal passion card members) and there are 8 lessons!!! the best part is, it is on a friday and it lasts 2.5hr!!

but due to the fact that punggol 21 is super ulu, we went streetdirectory.com to search for the route to the CC. from my house, it is quite straight forward. what's funny is tina's.

she lives near mj and she typed in her postal code and the cc's postal code and you know what direction the stupid web gave?

66 bus stops by taking bus number 89.
followed by 6 bus stops after changing to bus number 3

it is like, from opposite mj bus stop and back to the mj bus stop (DETOUR), then to hougang interchange. then from hougang interchange, to opposite mj bus stop, back to the bus stop before mj (when bus number 3 turns into the small road leading to mj) and finally changing to 3. [maybe i am exaggerating, but i HAVE to find a reason to explain the logic behind the 66 bus stops]

this route is like, INSANE? since tina can just cross the road, walk over to mj's main gate to take 3.

so guys, please do not trust technology (like streetdirectory.com). sometimes, it gives you inaccuate direction like 72 bus stops which probably will take u half a day to reach your destination. [going to jb might be faster]

but, don't trust your brain and act smart too. why? i remembered this incident after tina told me about the sad 66+6 bus stops conversation on msn. this happened to me in the beginning of 2005, during PAE when i was super unfamiliar with the east side of singapore after spending 16 years hanging out at the northeast.

i was busy with SLC (HAHAHAHA I AM A LOYAL SLC MEMBER SINCE PAE) balloon sales and was supposed to go to szehwei's house to train my balloon skills. i was wondering how to go simei cuz i've never been to simei and my virgin trip to pasir ris was probably during sec 4 when i went for mj's open house. it is THAT PATHETIC. you know how i travelled to simei?

from my house, i took a bus to hougang mrt station.

from hougang mrt station, i took the NEL to outram mrt station.

and changed to green line, and alighted at simei mrt station.

duration: approximately 1.5hr

that was the innocent me.

on my way home, i realised i had a MUCH MUCH MUCH shorter route home.

simply from my house, take bus number 72 to tampines interchange (<30 mins ride) and take a train which is less than 3 mins.

kill me pls. i WAS that stupid last time but i'm no longer now. although i do have some stupid moments like last year when i went queensway with zh and sharon and took 147 but was heading the wrong direction, i ended up at clementi interchange. took the agonising ride back and took 1.5hr.

i hate 1.5hr bus rides. YUCKSSSS!!!

hai. learn your lessons don't be like me. and, today is a depressing day for me. wanted to go for a run but it was drizzling. that was not the worst. when i reached my block, i realised the whole block was in darkness (at 8pm). it is not entirely blackout but the corridor's lights are not up. i was so scared that i will be trapped in the lift (i am worried that the power supply for the lift will be cut suddenly) lah. haiii.. i wanted to call my sister to fetch me from level 1 you know. but i think that action of me will be too childish and loser so i TRIED to be brave. *sad*

on my journey to school today, i was playing with my ds (i wanted to read my study guide but the sickening non air-con bus discourages me to) and suddenly a girl who was talking super loudly sat beside me.

all kinds of english vulgarities are spitted out from her mouth in EVERY sentence and there's actually 2 kids and their mum infront of us. i tried to increase the volume of my ipod but to no avail. so.. i "ahem" as loud as i could but still she didnt notice. i continued playing with my ds until someone tapped my shoulder and.. it was her.

her: "eh. how do u actually earn money in nintendogs?"
me: "bring it out for walks and sell the things you collect away. or win competitions."

after replying her, she went back talking to her friend (she stopped talking to her friend to ask me that question -_-") and i continued with my ds. after hanging up, we chatted the whole journey to sim (she is from np) and i am so SURPRISE that i actually managed to chat with a stranger for 30 mins, non-stop.

i'm sorry but she's super bimbotic. but cute in a way too.

hai. pbf was bad. i think no one knows what's going on in the lecture and i'm skipping econs tml to go k-lunching with huiqing and yiqi. kill me pls. i've almost forgotten how my econs tutor look like cuz i've never attended her lecture in 1 mth (when i was in taiwan, last week was deepavali, tml i'm ponning). hohoho. all the best to me.

but nvm, i'm going to study on friday, saturday and sunday. i must clear all my POA doubts and practise............ and for econs, i'll try my best then. wahahhahaa.

sometimes, i am at a loss of what to do and i'm bad at expressing myself. i hope to become a happier person and i hope to help more people around me. i'm not an angel, i have my own flaws (spoilt-brat HAHAHAHA) so i'm trying to redeem my sins now. whatever it is, it's over and i've never think too much about it after telling others what i feel. until just now when someone reminded me of what i actually said, i almost broke into tears.

yesterday i was watching the last episode of a hk drama showing on cable.. and i was astonished to know that duck is actually white in colour! so i exclaimed very loudly "wah ducks are white!!!!"

my 3 sisters and my mum stared at me like some alien. my 2nd sister even asked me in a super doubtful manner "you mean u didnt know???!!!!" and i replied "ya. cuz most of the time ducks are dirty. so i never really know their actual colour."

i'm not a bimbo. please don't treat me as one even though my top was longer than my shorts on sat when i went dimsum with them. on my way back, 1 super ah beng guy keep staring at my legs at 8pm at hougang interchange and he was assuming that i didnt wear anything underneath and i was so angry that i "SHOWED" everyone an inch of my shorts and SHOUTED "i got wear shorts lah!!!!"

hai. all for trying to act sexy. anyway, i am so zhi lian just now cuz i started to play with nail art using the stickers i bought in hk after watching yesterday's wan quan yu le as jolin was promoting her manicure shop "oops J". after that, i took many zhi lian pictures of myself. crap i'm turning into a bimbo. =( heeheehee.

some of you realised but some of u didnt. but i think many people are refreshing my blog to find out my explanation for everything. and i'm here only now because i have absolutely no idea what to write, where to start and is there a need to.

(after thinking for another 15 mins)

sometimes, when characters of 2 are too alike, it may not be a good thing at all. i thought, it was really hard to find someone whom you share so many similar hobbies and had so many common topics to talk about. i thought everything will fit nicely.

however, i was wrong. i suffered and did not express myself well. although i'm a happier person now, i've hurt someone directly and i'm not starting to feel too well now again. initially i was hopping that it wont be too bad and we can still be friends, but i'm not too sure now. to him it may be all kinds of excuses i'm giving, but at least for the "excuses" i gave, i can answer to myself.

it should never even start. my fault.

never put in effort. my fault.

but at least i learn a very valuable lesson.

be true to yourself and your heart.
love cannot be cultivated.

i'm a happy girl, really. and i hope you will get this over too. i cannot hope or force you to be friends with me again, but i'll always treat you as my good pal and wishes you all the best.

TAIWAN and ting's birthday~

hohoho. i'm back from taiwan! did anyone miss me? i bet everyone is waiting for my updates wahahahaha.. overall the trip was not very fun cuz i hardly have time to shop... i went with tour so we went to those cultural places which was quite sian.. and the itinerary doesnt include shopping at ximending (xmd) but luckily my hotel is 5 mins walk to xmd. i'm lazy to describe everything in details.. so look at the pics!

the first thing i notice about taiwan - MOTORBIKES are everywhere!!
on my way to xmd shortly after i settle down at my hotel, i saw this crowd.. and i wonder what were they queueing for. beef noodle? hahaha...
then i saw this! chey... so they are queueing for his autograph.. it was so long! i think from wheelock to end of taka (near to meritus mandarin)
so the guy in pink is zai zai (half of him)
my first meal in taiwan... the above is orh-lua. their orh-lua has veggie inside and the sauce is some sweet chilli.. not very nice... singapore's one better!
i ordered kao rou fan. not very nice... i was too hungry haha. a portion like that is about $4..
1 hour later.. i went xmd and the queue is still as long...
this is the first shop we stepped into.. selling all the cutie hair accessories. they have a corner for u to take this photo! my first day (or rather night) was free and easy so we were walking around xmd n trying to figure out the ways..
the second day and first place we went to is 'ye-liu'. it has all the rocks and erosion.. exfoliation going on.. a place for me to apply my geography knowledge but i think i've forgotten most. haha

next, i went to jiu fen. it is a very nice street, one of my most favourite place!

this is called... i forgot. taro balls i think. it has flavours like sweet potato, black sesame.. alot lah! sweet and nice~~~ shiok to eat on a cold day~ the soup base u can choose red bean, green bean or sweet potato... (y)!

next, we went to some leisure farm called "shangri-la". it is not posh at all. haha

the top above weighs 14kg i think.. hahaha. they had a competition to see who can spin it longest.. me and my sis joined together with some other older peeps who played before.. and guess what.
I WON! hahahaa.. my top spinned for 1 min.. the highest record was 7 mins and a cash reward of NT$30000 (S$1500) will be given if anyone beats 7 mins. my reward was a top (duh)
next, we wrote our wishes on this lantern called "kong ming deng" and according to the guy, the higher it flies wishes will come true...

next stop, we went to some clogs speciality shop..

this ah pek above was showing us how he chop the wood to make the clogs.
this master here is engraving some flowers to add flavour to the clogs..

next stop, we went to yi-lan for our hot spring resort. the resort was the biggest and most cosy..
heh heh. i forgot to tell u guys i preordered his album on my first day there and collected it on the day i leave for spore.

we went to a shop selling 'ling zhi'. the lady in the middle is the "princess" of the mao family, some famous family who cured song mei ling's asthma. she is the 4th generation.. and guess her age. 40! she's so pretty!

then, we went to the miniature museum. the things there are so kawaii!

next, we went to zong zhen ji nian tang.. some marching and changing shifts..
the guy there is not supposed to move or blink. and he will stomp his gun if u are too near him! but look at this pic, i'm sure he is um-chio-ing when me n my sis were trying to take a pic with him. (we choose the cuter guy anyway)

next stop, SHILIN NIGHT MARKET! (actually the place is not as exciting as i thought)

ji pai!!!! i queued for 10 mins before i get my hands on it.. NT$45. but from 1 nov onwards it will be NT$50 cuz of the rise in price of flour due to a shortage in wheat..

oh no. so long and i am disgusted by it. haha.

this is 'da bing bao xiao bing' (aka big biscuit with small biscuit). i never get a chance to eat cz my mama threw it away (i dunno why)

cuz my sis and i were disappointed by shilin's food.. we went rao he night market for another makan spree ourselves.. haha.
however.. it was raining tt day so most food stalls are closed. but there's alot to shop! there are so many shops selling jeans... mostly NT$390 (another boring place. we ran down to the place to take a group shot. bleah.
i'm so amazed by the big cans. i wonder how people actually drink.
the famous bakery that sells pineapple tarts. they can sell up to 20k tarts a day!
the bread looks good too.

next, we went to toufu street. that place is not as stinko as i thought due to the chuo toufu.
this is the most popular stall. i wonder how other stalls survive cuz everyone only buy from this stall.

next, we went to taipei 101! it's quite boring, cuz the whole mall sells branded.

101! we didnt go up to the top cuz it cost a freaking S$20 and the view is not spectacular.. u only see haze and pollution.
my dinner was teppanyaki. we mix the ingredients and seasonings we want, and the chef cook for us!
that's a donut. it looks like shit in the picture but it is really a donut. the paper bag is so kawaii!!
how can i forget ah zong??

i met up with the cheapo clique yest to celebration ting's birthday at miss clarify cafe bugis. the place is pretty good. food is cheap n not bad, and the best thing is we can be noisy.

today i went hougang point with zh to try to study.. hahaha.. we failed quite badly! but thinking about it, i really missed the times when i mugged so hard during j1 alone.. and j2 with victor and wanlin. it was 1 year ago can u believe it? a's over for a year!!! i'm old although i hate to admit. boo boo. back to school tml bleahs~~
