A Christmas Wreath

Happy Wednesday,

I can't believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday with yummy turkey and all the fixing's and spending time with family. I have so much to be thankful for and have been blessed with a wonderful family!

The challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund this week is Anything Goes. I made this beautiful wreath using Magnolia Stamps and the Nutcracker Theme. If you have been visiting my blog you may have noticed that I love the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet paper

The floral backgrounds for each Tilda were made using Spellbinders circles and Tulle that I gathered to create a whimsy look. The images were colored with Copic markers. I used snowwriter with fine glitter for the wings on Summer Flower Tilda, Tilda with Tag Gifts dress trim and for the snowflake that Snowy Tilda is holding. I embellished my wreath with Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Chipboard pieces, ribbon, flowers, snowflakes and the Cherry Lynn Flourish Die. I hope I have inspired you today!

Tilda Dreams of the Nutcracker Sweet

Happy Wednesday,

I hope everyone is having a good week. It has got very cold here. They are talking about snow tomorrow. So not looking forward to that....

Today for GDT project  for 7 Kids College Fund Challenge "Bling" I created an altered cigar box. I just love this paper it is so festive and beautiful. I covered the box with Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet paper and inked the edges of the blue paper with broken china and the cream paper with antique linen distress ink to give it a vintage feel. The border was created by twisting pearls with the navy blue translucent ribbon and a rich burgundy rose trim as the outside border. I used the large flourish die from Cherry Lynne, frosty border & crystal snowflake from Memory Box and snowflake die from Marianne.

The ballerina on the front was cut from the Graphic 45 paper (lots of fussy cutting). One of my favorite parts of the box is the tag I created with Ballerina Tilda I thought the cutouts from the paper were perfect for the tag and this sweet Tilda. She was colored with Copic Markers Skin E000, E00, R20, Dress & Shoes B91, B93, B95, B97, Hair E31, E27, E50. I added glitter and bling to her crown.

I also added bling to all the snowflakes and there is a hint of glitter on the ballerina, nutcracker and ballet shoes more fussy work.

Here is a close up of Tilda the inside cover of the box:

A peek inside the box:
