Okay so I am making it a goal to update my blog more often. For sure twice a month. I think that is doable. Today I had the lucky opportunity to have a few of my sister April's kids come play and stay the night. Wesley, Hinckley and Maysen all came over and we set up the slip and slide, sprinklers, ate popsicles and just soaked up the sun.

I am so excited for the summer and today really made me feel excited and ready to have some fun memories made this summer and enjoy nature and being with family.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!

There was so much snow today we just had to take advantage of it and put on our snow gear and build a snowgirl. Morgan is a snow lover so it was really fun to be out in the snow playing with
her. Please notice Morgan's artistic eye. She was the one who thought of all the things to use to create our snow girl. Dry spaghetti noodles for the hair, a carrot nose and grapes for the eyes and mouth. It looks good don't you think?

4th of July weekend fun! Cont.

This morning Morg and I woke up early to go see the Balloon Festival in Provo for Morgan's first time. We had a blast! It was so much fun to walk around the soccer field watching all of these hotair balloons getting set up and then watch them magically lift off the ground and fly away. After we went out for breakfast. Love you Morgan! I'm happy for the memories we are making together.

There were lots of different kinds of balloons, I think that the piggy bank and Smokey the Bear were the favorites
I remember my parents taking me and my siblings when I was little, good memories. I think that we are going to make a tradition of this.

It was really fun to be up so close and watch as they filled the balloons up with the fire blasting out, the heat it gave off was a bonus with the cool morning air.

Amazing! See you again next year balloons.

4th of July weekend fun!

We celebrated the day of the 4th at Laurie and Teejay's for a BBQ. Good food, good fun. Morgan and James are sweet cousins they love each other a lot and always have a great time together.

Then just as the sun started going down Teejay pulled out the fireworks. Sparklers are a favorite.

Too bad they burn out way too fast.

The beginning of summer

I love this picture!!! On the last day of Kindergarten, we went with family to see a matinee. Here is Morgan with Grandma Dockendorf. They sure are cute together! I have the best mother-n-law, no really I do. I was destined to be apart of the Dockendorf family and I love them all. Nancy you are an amazing lady. I love you. Thanks for being YOU!!!

Week 2

Well the good news is I am down 4 lbs !!! Yeah ! The bad news that is what I was down week one, so I haven't lost any additional but I have had a harder time motivating myself this last week. Sorry this is short and sweet but I just wanted to make sure I actually posted this week my results since last week I failed to blog :)

Wednesday Weigh In

Okay so I have had enough!!!! I'm tired of being tired, I'm sick of feeling disgusted when I look in the mirror and I am done always catching my breath after doing basic things. (Playing with my daughter, walking up a short flight of stair etc....) I can actually feel the healthy, more fit Cambridge inside of me SCREAMING to get out, tired of being trapped in a body that she feels uncomfortable in.

I know this is a little drastic to post this much personal information about myself on my blog, but I feel hopeful that with just putting it out there I will gain more of a support group and stick to my task of losing major weight and becoming healthy again. I want to feel like me. To feel energized healthy and proud when I look in the mirror. Now I know that this is going to take some time and a lot of focus and determination but I have that in me I just need to DO IT!!!!

So here we go, the weight and measurements are in and although I am not happy with what they are now I am excited at the thought of how much weight I can shed.

I am going to start doing Wednesday Weigh Ins to help keep myself accountable and to track my progress. I want to live life and be happy and teach Morgan to eat healthy and exercise.

It's Official

Morgan has lost her first front tooth!!! I love the tooth missing grin and couldn't resist putting it on the blog. She couldn't be happier, she was so excited when Dave pulled it out for her she came running in to me to show me and seemed oblivious to her bloody mouth. She then found the perfect container to put her tooth in (a sandwich bag) and quickly stuck it under her pillow jumping up and down with excitment for the tooth fairy to come. I love this girl she makes me so happy but she sure is growing up way too fast.

Well it seems the most I do lately is change my background. I guess at least I am doing something with my blog right? Or at least that's what I am trying to tell myself. And to top things off I haven't been able to find my camera from our recent move. I know it's here somewhere I think I might have packed it with some of my scrapbooking products so who knows how long it might take me to find.

I must say the weather today was the best I am so ready for spring and summer weather its about killing me. I am craving the feeling of my skin being hot to the touch from the sun beating down on it AHHHH!!! I know I'm crazy but I love it.

Sorry I haven't posted forever! Life has been way crazy lately, we have moved up to Orem and Dave had another back surgery removing all the hardware in his back this time. So when I pulled up my blog and say my christmas background I thought I should at least update it. This is a short post and I will post again soon with some pics. Love to all of my family and friends.
