Well this month was really crazy. It first started with Claire's first ballet recital. To her it was a B-I-G deal. Grammy, Pops, Gigi, Mommy and Daddy all attended and then all met up with Papa Doc for supper. She took it really really seriously and she really LOVES it and we will sign up again. Here are a few pics.
David and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and went out of town for a few days. On our way out of town we went to visit my Papa who has not been doing well. The last day of our trip I got a call saying he has gone to be with Jesus. It was really hard and still is. We knew it was going to happen but had NO idea it would be this quick. We could not help but do the flower arrangement at the church. We thought Papa deserved us to do it right?
When I said we did the arrangements, I mean we as in the grandkids, great grandkids and all. Everyone got an opportunity to "poke" one in. As you can see below there were even the sticks put in there. :o) We loved it for him.
We had the services in Alabama and then he was buried in Mississippi. IT was a beautiful time b/c he is with the Lord able to breath and dancing on streets in heaven with the Lord above.
The AU/GA weekend came and we were suppose to do the usual Rouse Clan get together. They still did but my two had the pink eye a few days then Cooper looked this this for a few days...... SO SAD! :(
Then Thanksgiving came and we had the best time on all sides of the family. Papa was deeply missed and we all were there for Mimi to go through her first holiday without him. We got my parents and the Rouses Christmas card done. All grandkids.................I LOVE IT!
and then we have done lots and lots of this....
Last week, Cooper and Claire had their CBS program. It was precious. I had a hard time seeing since I was on stadge as well but from what I understand Cooper sang a little and Claire had her fingers in her mouth which is an improvement from last year of pulling her dress up. :o)
I went to Deeper Still this past weekend with some incredible girls and it was an expereince I will never forget. I encourage you to go see Beth Moore, Kay Arthur or Priscilla Shirer. They are unbelivable!
We have our tree up and the kids room are decorated. Our Fall wreath is still on our door and our Christmas cards not done. But living and enjoying every minute of this precious time as a Mommy and wife. :o)
Feelimg very very blessed I want to pinch myself.
