basketball

We were able to get enough kids to participate in a basketball league in Heber this year.  It was really nice to not have to spend six straight Saturdays in Show Low! The kids enjoyed playing basketball and did really well!  Kierra did very well predicting where the ball was going and had several steals.  She got several rebounds and scored several points each game.

 Kaddie was all over the court and has some awesome skills.  She is quick and sees the ball well.  She scored several points each game and stole the ball countless times.  She played on the 5th and 6th grade team as a fourth grader.

 Kindsey played on the Jr. High 7th grade basketball team.  She scored several points and is a good hustler.  She had several steals and scored several points.  She enjoyed playing with so many of her friends. 

 Kage enjoyed his season as well and did a great job.  He scored several points and is a very good defensive player as well as scoring points for his team.

Kardon started on the 7th grade boys basketball team and scored several baskets. He had several steals and was an asset to his team.  I have several videos of him playing but not many still photos.

cheer camp

The high school cheer leading team put on a cheer camp for the younger girls as a fund raiser.  Kaddie and Kierra participated and had an enjoyable time.  They each participated in tumbling and choreographed dance routines.  They were on opposite ends of the gym so it was difficult to take many pictures.  Their favorite part was getting ready for it though I think. We put makeup on them and sprayed glitter in their hair.

Christmas concert

 Kierra and Kage had their Christmas concert tonight.  They enjoyed singing the Christmas songs they had prepared.  Mr Brown, their new music teacher played the guitar while the children sang some of the songs.

Family pictures

We were able to sneak some family pictures into Thanksgiving weekend.  It was a really cold and windy day but it worked out.  I am glad they turned out well enough that we didn't have to try again another time!

baseball

We had an awesome baseball season.  Kenton is on the Juniors team, Kardon on Majors, Kindsey on Majors, Kaddie and Kierra on Minors and Kage on my coach pitch team.  Kaddie and Kierra both pitched but I didn't have my camera when Kierra was pitching.  Baseball season is so much fun, but it is always nice when it is over!
