Andrew Update!

Andrew loved the MTC! He met many great elders and felt the Spirit, big time!

Where in the world????

After three weeks, it was off to Idaho...he and his companion live with a wonderful couple that have opened their home to missionaries. It is a bit of 'country' livin' and he loves it :D

Loves the work, loves the people, loves the Lord!

He is already saying that 'time is moving too quickly'!

A New Post...FINALLY...I know!

Well, it was 5 days after the previous post that I came down with the flu...then about 6 days after that, that I was diagnosed with pneumonia!!!! Yes, there is something that can slow me down and this was it!

I was out of work for three weeks and still am only working here and there due to scheduled vacation & dr. appts. I am better but there is still heaviness in my chest and a huge lack of energy. Just a shower, washing my hair, drying/styling my hair and putting on a little make-up...exhausting, I tell you! Incredible that the morning routine takes so much out of me and usually, it is the slowest part of my day. I have finally figured out I am only mortal and will need to prioritze, slow down and really...act my age! (Okay, let's not get carried away :D)

Address Change for Letters to Andrew

Andrew has been transferred from the MTC to his Mission area. His new address is:

You can use 'dearelder.com' to send 'emailed' letters. There is the cost of postage for each letter but it will arrive a day or two earlier since it is sent from Utah, not CA. You will need to place a $10 deposit to begin your account. They do not charge for paper, ink, envelopes or processing fees.

He really enjoyed the MTC and the guys he met there. He is taking a lot of pictures and will have great memories to reflect on. He is anxious to serve the Lord and help his brothers & sisters to come unto Christ.

He has had a few experiences with people - answering the Referral line - it was a good taste of what he will experience face-to-face. People hung up on him & yelled at him but there were those who appreciated listening to his testimony and had the desire to learn more.
