Ok gals & boys, we (pearl,zhen,jeff & i) had helped to draft out the list for the xmas gifts exchange during our hotel stay..

of my wedding plans... ( i only know that so many of you are not aware cus i thought i really told you guys abt the plans!!) and didn't go to my blog anyway.. i shall make a short summary here to let you know my plans.
WEDDING DAY: SUNDAY
WEDDING DATE: 22ND JUNE 2008
WEDDING VENUE: CHIJMES HALL
DRESS CODE: FORMAL
TIME :
JIE MEIs to be at my home by 7am (to be confirmed!)
Solemnisation starts at 11.30am
Cocktail Reception starts at 12.00pm
Lunch banquet (chinese sit-down 8 courses menu) starts at 12.45pm and ends by 3pm.
There will be NO DINNER for my wedding. it's a simple lunch banquet.

My solemnisation is outside CHIJMES HALL which is the LAWN right beside the church hall and it should look something like that:

The cocktail reception will be here too at the lawn.
I heard VIOLENT objections to my suggestion of wearing GREEN (which i got the idea from this picture!! )
Anyway, it's really up to you gals to decide.. I have no budget to buy cloth and tailor-make your dresses!!! so i am easy to please.. just try to wear similar colours for a nicer feel when we take a group pic lah..
As for allocation of who is helping me and doing what..
my proposal is this:
Jie mei i/c: Serene
Jie mei: Jeslyn, Zhen, and 2 to 3 more friends from my previous church.
(So what do Jie Meis do? Jie meis are in charge of sabotaging groom during gate crash! And of course, collect ang baos! I leave this to the discussion when everyone meets up but my only condition is that NO eating/drinking of horrible stuff.. reason being, i don't want martyn to have the runs on his big day!! hahaha.. )
Emcees: Jeff (chinese) and Pearlyn (english).
(but this is just a suggestion. If you violently object, please let me know and let me know how you wanna help me which i definitely will be appreciative. I just wish all my good friends are involved in my big day! But if you really don't wanna do anything.. it's fine with me too! Just be there on my actual day! =)
Other roles that you may wanna try:
1) Timer/Co-ordinator (I may not be wearing a watch on that day so i need a timer to tell me where to go and what to do at what timings.. and make sure everything is in order.. )
2) Additional photographer/videographer
3) Reception table (Table allocation)
At the moment, i haven't thought of what other help i need. Pearlyn can double up as my make up artist since my make up artist will only do my make up but not touch up.. :P

background: Dog was found by a student in a drain with an injured leg. Student posted notices to find the owner. Owner came to claim the dog but following day bring back to student and told student they cannot handle the dog (They have a well groomed Shih Tzu) *roll eyes*. Student passed the dog to my friend who in turn passed to me for foster.
stats: About 1 year old. Male. Not sterilised. Not trained.
