Wow! I can't believe the leaves are starting to change already! Time flies!

We wanted to get together every other week this summer, like we did last summer, but were all too busy. We found time to get together a few times, however, and had a lot of fun watching all of the little cousins trek around up at Silver Lake. The highlight was seeing a gigantic moose, which scared the living daylights out of all of us!

Summer Fun

4th of July

We always love the 4th of July. We have our own little family tradition of going to Layton Park in the morning for the parade. Then,we hang out all day at the park, or in this case, we went to a movie. Then, back to Layton Park for the fireworks. We love that they have an orchestra play in the ampitheater at the park before the fireworks. It's fun to listen to while we eat treats and relax as a family.
