My Little Orphan Kids!

We tried to get some pictures of the kids with the puppies....and this is what we got. They all look like orphans! None of them got enough sleep last night and we have been getting a bunch of misc. done around the house. Needless to say they are going to have showers and a really early bed time :)

Sleep Over

We have really enjoyed living close to Cam and Amy. The kids have a blast together! Every once in a while they think it is fun to have sleepovers. So last night we did a swap. We took Chance and Ethan and Amy took Daniel. They had lots of fun. We love living close to family!! They were all being crazy, buts that's part of the fun right.....

Talon

I get a kick out of this kid! I have been watching him for almost a year now and he just feels like one of mine. All the kids love to play with him. He is at the age where he repeats what you say. I love it! He is a joy to have around! I am so blessed to be able to watch him!!!

He loves to put shoes on and wonder the house. Lately he thinks it is fun to wear Daniels boots!
I am so mad that I didn't notice the coats and backpacks in the background! You can tell what time of day it is...

The other day, I walked in the kitchen and found him helping me load the dishwasher.......only he was using cans :)

He is also a messy eater! Every time he eats he gets it everywhere! He loved licking the dip off of the carrots. We like him lots and lots!!!

Pickles

Mayzie has discovered pickles and she loves them! She gets the seeds all over, but thats part of the fun right?

Braxtons Blessing

Stetsy kept pulling faces.....

Bailey and Josh blessed Braxton today. Josh gave a beautiful blessing. It was fun to spend time with the family! All of us girls had a race, which I lost, but it was lots of fun! I haven't raced for years and now I remember why I don't! The kids had a great time too. I am glad we were able to go!

Taking Turns

I usually take turns with the kids, when I go and run errands, so that I can spend one on one time with each one. They all love it and look forward to it and I enjoy getting to spend time with them too. Last night I had to run to the store and I took Daniel with me, because it was his turn,but Isabelle really wanted to go. She was sad that she had to stay home. I think I was gone for 35 minutes and when I got to the door, this is what I found.......she had layed on the floor beside the door and cried herself to sleep. I love the way she is dressed :) A dress that is too small, flip flops, and a coat. Vern said he was helping the girls with their homework and next thing he knows, she is asleep. I wish I could fall asleep on the floor and be that comfortable!!

Just Cause

Sometimes it can be a little hectic with 2 babys, but then I have moments like this and I know I can do it! Those smiles makes it all worth it!

Captain Moroni

Daniel go this Captain Moroni figure for Christmas and so tonight for family home evening, we learned about him and why he is carrying this flag. The words that he wrote on it are: "in memory of our God, our religion, our freedom, our peace, our wives and our children." He wrote this on a piece of his coat that he tore off and fastened it to a poll and called it the "title of liberty." The kids all got to make their own flag and put things on it that were important to them. It was a really fun night and now this little figure means a lot more! Here are the flags they made.....

I have not done family home evening like I should. I do really good for a few months and then not so good, So my goal for this year, is to do it every Monday! It is so fun and the kids love it! So here's to doing better!!

~White Stuff~

We woke up this morning to white stuff on the ground......which is not normal for this area. The kids have been having a blast with it! They miss it a lot! Chance and Ethan came over and built a snowman. They said they haven't ever built one. I don't know how long it will last, but they are having fun!!

Movies and Stuff

Ammon and Mariah were able to come down for Christmas this year. It has been so fun getting to see them! We all missed them so much and the kids haven't left them alone since they got here! The other night all the boys went to see the new Chronicles movie. I think they all had a good time. Daniel said it was awesome! :) Royden fell asleep about 30 minutes into to it. I am glad they got to go and spend time together. Right before they left, I made them stop for a picture....they all rebelled, but I made them do it anyway:) I am not sure if I will ever get Chance to smile normal......but for now this is how it is........Daniel likes it...

The next day all the girls went to the movie Tangled. We all loved it!! I highly recommend this movie! It is one I want to own! After the movie we went and ate pizza. It fun to have a girls day! We have had so much fun with Mariah and Ammon and we are going to miss them so much!!!
