I am the worst blogger on the face of the planet! I'm admitting this to myself as I KNOW that every living soul has given up hope of ever seeing a new post from us again!
David's practice is doing well and getting better and better each week. I am so proud of him and all of his hard work! It's a little crazy to me that we have our own chiropractic practice and are one of the few healthcare providers in this community! I can tell already that we are making a big impact here and I'm excited for the many years to come and see what we'll do with them!
We just celebrated our 6th anniversary last week (Love you, babe!). And what better way to celebrate than having our one and only car catch fire on the freeway! Awesome! This actually happened the day before our anniversary as David was on his way down to look at some new cars! Heavenly Father was definitely guiding us! So we unexpectedly had to purchase a vehicle, and FAST! We were led to find the perfect car for us: a white 2006 Honda Odessy. Sa-weet! My entire life I swore I would never drive a minivan, and I test-drove every SUV out there and none were what I expected or wanted (to my utter shock!) Finally David convinced me to just SIT in the Odessy, and I immediately felt at ease! I am stubborn as all get-out, but I will also quickly admit when I am wrong, and boy was I wrong to rule this bad-boy out! It's totally awesome! It's so comfy and cozy, like I'm driving around in my living room! And it makes me want to take a roadtrip ASAP and that's saying something! :)
Tyson turned 4 in January and is rocking his first year of preschool! He is frequently the Super Star Listener (for not talking out of turn, being respectful and raising his hand) and has checked off everything for the year already! He is also starting to read, which is seriously the coolest thing for a parent to see! He loves to learn and only has to hear something once for him to remember it. We are very proud of him!
Zachary turned 2 in November and is trying his best to be a big boy like his brother. He will do and say everything like Tyson. If Tyson can do it, by golly, so can he! He has been potty-trained since before turning two, and that includes not wetting his diaper at night! He's a champ! He loves his sister and is so excited when she wakes up! It's his job to run in her room and talk to her before I get there. He runs in saying, "Hi, Julianne Alyse! Hi pretty princess!" He often climbs in her crib and snuggles her and hugs and kisses her and brings her toys. He is also our early riser, and wakes up atleast an hour before Tyson. He climbs out of bed, shuts his bedroom door (He shares with Tyson) grabs his scooter and scoots down the hallway to our room and yells "Good morning mom! I'm hungry!" I wish I had that much energy each morning! What a way to wake up! I think I need my very own scooter to ride all over the house! :)
Julianne is 11 months old today! Oh my goodness! I'm starting to plan her 1st birthday party and it's freaking me out! She's my little baby! :( She started crawling at 9 months and is so dang adorable! I cannot get enough of that little girl! She has every one of us wrapped around her little finger.
It is impossible for me to get a good picture of all the kids at the same dang time! Here are a couple of recent shots, though!
