HELP!!! All SMA Families
Ever since Karson was diagnosed we haven't been impressed with his bi-pap mask's. We have tried different one's and finally found one that worked as long as we have this plastic sleve over it. Well they stopped making the sleve so we need to get one that will not give him break down on his face. I've tryed to get that mask from canada but have been unsuccessful. We have got two different mask's in the last two days the comfort gel and mini me. They both DO NOT work were a bit frustrated! Karson is on his bi-pap around 22 hours a day so you can understand our need for this. Can anyone out there HELP us?

It's Unoffically Offical....Summertime!!
Although the calender still says May, the thermometer says otherwise. And what says summertime more than the sprinkler under the trampoline??

ELMO LIVE!
We bought Karson Elmo Live for his birthday, because like most other little kids, Karson loves Elmo. I don't know if you have seen Elmo Live in action but it is amazing what this toy can do. First of all, it is incredibly lifelike, it is as close to the really thing I have ever seen. Next, it sits down, stands up, sings, dances, tells jokes and stories and much, much more. Anyway, this picture below is of Karson's reaction to seeing Elmo in action for the first time. He didn't know what to think. After all, it was his best buddy from his movies, alive and front and center. He just stared.
But when all was said and done a buddy is a buddy!!
Ahhhh. Mobility!
Karson has recived his first set of wheels at the tender age of one. I do not say this lightly because it cost more than our first car. (Thank heaven for insurance) It has a place for everything: Bi-pap, Suction, Pulse-OX, battery pack, and even the feeding pump. We are looking forward to putting some serious miles on this baby. Karson is ready to see the world, really for the first time (he was in the hospital all last summer)!
