Mommy was sick on New Year's Eve so Daddy's little girls got to spend the whole day with him while Mommy rested. We had lots of fun. We had a full day, we: worked in the yard, played outside, had hot chocolate and panetonne, ate lunch (with a puppet show), naps, ice cream, played some more, watched some Nutcracker, ate dinner, took baths, watched some "New Years Eve" and slept well!
The escapades of Mom, Dad, two beautiful little girls, and a much-loved, smiley boy.

Our budding artists ...
Both of our girls love to sing and create. Calista likes to: sing; compose new songs; perform, direct, and produce her own plays. She also loves to color, draw, and paint. Recently, she has taught herself how to tie things and has created many ornaments on her own to put on the tree and long door hanging for her door knob. Eden also loves to sing, play the harp, and color and paint. Unfortunately she's still learning to color only on paper. They both love to play with one another and be creative together.

Great Falls - Paterson, NJ
Tucked away in Paterson NJ is one of the newest National Park's: Great Falls. We had fun visiting and getting close to these beautiful waterfalls. The cute girls in the foreground are also nice to look at!

Christmas Storybook Land
Danae found a fun activity for us to do with Grandma and Grandpa when they came to visit: Storybook Land. Santa came out and turned on all of the lights and then we went around and went on several rides which the girls greatly enjoyed. It was a magical evening of fun for the family.

Clifton Candyland
Calista missed her Joy School end-of-the-year program because she was sick, but many of her classmates performed it again at the Jensen's for the daddies before we went over to the Clifton Candyland.

Hershey Christmas
We stopped by Hershey for a couple hours on the way home from the North's. The girls loved the ride that explained how chocolate is made. They liked the chocolate treat at the end. Eden was excited to see Santa, although Calista cowered and shyed away.
Thanksgiving with the Norths
A wonderful week of thanksgiving with the North family. Calista and Madeline had a wonderful time playing with each other all week; and Eden had fun running around with Jessica, Emily, and Daddy. In all we had a relaxing and enjoyable week celebrating Thanksgiving together.

Calista turns four, Mom's guilt leads to posting
Hold on to your desk - it's true that there is a new post here. Since our firstborn celebrated a wonderful fourth birthday (a month ago), here is a little recap of her happy day(s).
Calista, you teach me something new each day, while keeping me on my toes. You remind me to take time to smell the flowers, and your hair. You are graceful, creative, dramatic, and perceptive. You are full of faith, thirsty for knowledge, and have an impeccable memory. We love you too much!
