Fun Weekend...

We had such a great weekend. Friday was Emma's ballet recital. She was a brown bunny in Snow White at Kinsbury Hall. Saturday we went camping with the new camper (see me for details on that) up to Jordanelle. It was so nice, even with the snow!

New Suit..

What do you think of my new suit? I wish it was my body. I got the cocoa skirt to go with it to hide my beutiful tighs. All these suits are so cute! www.modbeclothing.com

Sleepin Cowboy

Benji went to his first birthday party Saturday. It was for Jack Wilkinson, who is Deveron's also 3 year old son. He was so tuckered from all the hootin' and hollerin' that he was asleep by the end of the street. What a cute cowboy he is!

She is one of a kind...

EmJa is always cracking us up and suprising us with the creative things she says. She loves her soccer team and running around the field. At the last game, while
kicking a ball in from the side Emma declared at the top of her lungs, "For the Tigers!"

On a lighter note...

I can't believe Michael Johns got kicked last night! Total Shocker! I agree with Simon though, totally wrong song choice. Not that inspiring. Even kind of a downer. I will miss his cute accent but the show must go on and David A. must win!

Heckuva Week...

This last week has been one of the hardest of my live. (It sounds like I am bearing my testimony.) None of my pets died, (like two of my blog buddies) but my heart was breaking still. I won't go into it, it is just a tough life sometimes. But what Becky's friend's blog reminded me is that there is something small and special that happens to us each day to help us know we are loved. Some days I feel so awful that I can't see that. But today I saw...a happy three year old, a proud reading 6 year old, a cute science fair boy showing off his rock collection, a husband trying to save us some money (even though it means bye-bye on-demand), a mom-in-law always staying positive and loving me in spite of my flaws, a sister-in-law excited to hang out with me for a few days, a dad that prays for me and cries when I tell him we are doing a little better. Because I believe that God gave my hand a squeeze today, I have hope for my future.

Our Makeover

We had our hair cut the same! I think I liked it long better now that I see the Before and After pictures that Tara took. But Em says, "Don't worry Mom, it will grow back." What wisdom!

That's all folks!

See ya!
