I read about this website today that is really interesting called fit for the kingdom. http://ffk.mormondocs.com/ It is a bunch of short documentaries done by a BYU student and professor about true to life mormons. It has really been touching and uplifting. Check it out!

Why I love Big D...

Its not the clothes you wear.... Or the car you drive... Its just the way that you love me!! A little explanation...Dan is so cool now that he got a Land Rover back, a totally 4x4 tripped out one at that, and so I thought I would bring him back to humility (or humiliation) with the "city lights" costume. That is a singing group he was a part of in Arizona. I know it is a little mean, but
I think it is a wife duty to help keep the husband grounded. I do love him very much. Even though the new ride did not have my blessing, I am glad he is happy. That is what marriage is about right? Compromise? Love? Forgiveness? Endurance? I never knew how true that is.

Are Mom Blogs safe?

Did anyone read the article in the paper yesterday about blogs not being safe? I have heard that from so many people, especially my husband, that this practice of journaling with pictures on line will put my family at risk for identity theft and other crimes. Check out the artlicle and tell me what you think? I have denied the validity of the concerns until now. My Dad is a fighter!

Yesterday my Dad started his second round of Chemo for his Lymphocytic Leukemia. He was stronger going into it this time and handled both chemicals better. I went and visited him yesterday and was so touched by the site. He is giving his all in fighting this, and I am so proud of him. Say a prayer today for him if you would. And for all the others out there fighting today!

More birthday fun...

Benji started the night zonked out, but eventually woke up and enjoyed his pizza dinner. Then we took him to the new Horton movie at Holladay theatres. He loves Elephants and I knew this would be a good pick for his birthday. What I didn't know was that "Horton" himself was at the theatres to greet us! Benji was in heaven!! He followed him around for the hour wait and still wouldn't relent once we were in the threatres. Subsequently the manager, a few employees, and Horton took Benji to the front of the theatre and had the whole crowd sing Happy Birthday to him! Isn't that so cool! It was definitely a night to remember. Too bad my camera battery gave out! Isn't that always the way!

Are you an Idol worshiper?

I am not of course, but I do enjoy watching the talent and drama that is American Idol! How many of you liked Michael Johns performance Tuesday? And do you think he is kinda cute? I do. I also love Brooke, David Archuleta (who couldn't love him), Jason, David Cook, and now Chikezie (after his awesome performance Tuesday). I am happy to see the stripper go bye-bye, and I can't wait until the other loser's are gone. Amanda bugs me! Her attitude is stinky! I was suprised to see Kristy stay last night, but she is cute and I like her. Do I sound like a stalker?

A new Colonel...

This is my brother James and get ready to salute, because he just got promoted to Lt. Colonel in the United States Airforce! We are so proud. He took us all to Spaghetti Factory to celebrate the other night. He is a great brother, and we are so proud of him!

Abi and Colter's (next door neighbors) house is coming along quick. Check out the Cement truck that is out there this morning!

Idol Chatter...

I am soooo happy with the results tonight! Goodbye Danny! I really loved David Cook's version of Hello. I like all the final 12, so it is going to be fun watching!

I'm Siiiick!

I feel so crummy. My chest cold has turned into a head cold. I'm dizzy, aching, exhausted. I have spent the last few days trying to decide on a new comforter on our bed. I think it just wore me out! What do you think of the result? Was it worth feeling so run down? I don't know? I am just so tired of shopping and returning stuff, that I am going to keep this cute set whether it matches my room or not! Isn't this little pillow the best. I love this saying. This is what I aspire too!

March comes in like a lion!

It is beautiful outside right now with the new snow. Even more beutiful knowing this won't last, and warmer weather is on the way. Dan and I have been working on house projects all day. Frustrating but very rewarding.
