We have the best view of the sunsets from our back sliding door. It is so wonderful to see them almost every night.

Christmas 2011

We had a nice Christmas in our new house. Brooke was so afraid that Santa would not find her at our new house. Good thing that he knows everything, because her did find us!

No Snow!

The weather at our new house has been great. It has been cold, but not nearly as cold as it has been in Preston. The days have been sunny with highs in the afternoon around 40-45. I took this picture of the girls before church on Sunday. Jenna wanted proof that she wasn't wearing tights or nylons in December!

Christmas Decorations

This is my attempt at decorating our new house for Christmas. Since I still have lots of boxes to unpack, this is probably as good as it will get this year.

Unloading the Truck

We arrived at our new house on Tuesday afternoon about 2:30. The truck showed up at 3:30. We had arranged for people from the ward to be here at 5:00. Luckily a few ward members showed up early because they saw that the truck was here. Jason and my brother got here about 4:30. When most of the ward members showed up at 5:00, we were almost unloaded. We were totally done by 5:15. It worked out great and we were able to get alot of things set up before we crashed for the night!

Moving Day

We loaded up the trailer on Monday, November 28th. We had many people show up to help us. Some people I didn't even know. We are so grateful for all of the help and people that stopped by to wish us well. We stayed at my moms house Monday night and then we headed out on Tuesday morning!

Our New House

We officially closed on our new house in Meridian last Tuesday. It is so great to finally be done with that project. Now on to moving. We will load the trailer on Monday night and we will leave Tuesday morning! Here are a few pictures of the house. I will post more when we get our stuff in and are settled.

Going Away Parties

When we told the kids that we would be moving, I told them that they could each have a going away party! I had forgotten about it, but they didn't. So, since I have all the free time in the world and the house is well organized, we had 3 different going away parties!!! Jenna had her last Thursday night. Her friends came over and we took them home at 11:00pm. Dillon had his this past Thursday night. Same thing, they came over and left about 11:00. Brooke had hers yesterday, we fed them lunch and let them stay until 2:30. They each had a great time anf I'm glad that we took the time to do it. Theese pictures are from the girls' parties. I didn't take pictures of Dillon's!

Packing!!!

I've decided that I'm tired of packing! I still have some to go, but most of it is done. It's hard to pack up everything while we are still living her, so there will be a last minute rush at the end! Oh well! This is how the house looked earlier this week. I've added more boxes to each pile!

Week-end in Boise!!

As most of you know, we are going to be moving to Boise (well Meridian) the week after Thanksgiving. Jason started his job on October 31st and has already moved up there. The kids and I went up to see hime this past week-end. We had a great time. We showed the kids our new house and where they will be going to school. We spent some time in downtown Boise by the river and at the park. It is a beautiful place and I can't wait to see it on a warm day. Anyway, here are a few pictures.

Halloween 2011

Friday was such a nice day that I couldn't resist getting some pictures of the kids. As usual, the girls never complain and are so photogenic! Dillon did co-operate, but he wasn't too thrilled. All in all, they turned out fairly good.
