TTFN

I wanted to let you know that I am probably not going to be using this blog anymore, at least for a while. I have enjoyed it at times, but right now with school and babies and life it is one more thing I never get around to. You can always catch up with me on Facebook. I may post pictures now and again, if I get a chance. Thanks for the comments along the way!

Need to Pray

When you stop to think about all of the things there are/you need to pray about, does it get a little overwhelming? It does for me! I am wondering if that's why God said the "Pray without ceasing", you see someone in need and you pray, you think of a situation (good or bad) that needs God's hand - you pray, you see a beautiful sunset and you pray some more. Here's part of my current list - many of these are needs of someone - the praise and thanks list is just as long, but something I hope to blog more about later. (sometimes I use the blog as a journal to remember things, won't it be good to look back and see how these situations worked themselves out?!)

Things to pray about today: (not necessarily in order of importance)
1. Haiti - earthquake victims
2. A forever friend family's parent/grandparent is in his last days or hours
3. A cousin's wife had a very bad car accident yesterday and will be in the hospital a while
4. My mom has a colonoscopy tomorrow (just routine, always a prayer though)
5. Chad's job at the PO - nothing is sacred there, nothing is stable, seems like people make some really unwise decisions.
6. A friend is in an interview right now - prayerful she finds the path that God intends (Go Amy!)
7. I have an American History/Government/World History/Economics (yes, all those subjects are lumped in to one exam!) test on Saturday - probably will do fine, but what a bother
8. Small concerns/big future decisions that hang over my head - school, when I finish school will I have a job, I wish I didn't need a job and could stay home with my babies, what will I do with Caleb when I am student teaching (Michael will be in school), where will we send Michael to school...
9. My fight with myself to be who I should be and remember to PRAY!
10. That my dad could find a job closer to home
11. That Jer and Rach will be led in the right directions for their family and that they will be loved like family out there in the middle of OK (and I think they are!)

OK, too serious, I don't think anyone reads this blog very often anyway, but if you do sorry for the heaviness. Gotta get back to studying, need to know more about the plight of women during the European Industrialization...:-)
