Elijah Flipped Today!

Thought I'd make a grand entrance to this blog... I flipped from my belly to my back. Yeah, I know I made it look like a 'head too heavy so I'm going over' kind of move. But hey, see if you can do that! It ain't an easy move!

Holiday in Megalong Valley

Australia is truly a beautiful country and in Megalong Valley, we got to enjoy God's beautiful world along with great friends. Zac and Ethan get all rugged up for the cold. Then Zoe and Ethan have a hand at feeding some sheep.

To top it all off, we had roasted marshmallows from our very own log fire!

My Grandparents came to Visit

Hi everyone, I'm Elijah and am happy to enter my first blog entry. My grandparents came to visit us (actually just me) from Singapore. I think they wanted to check out how small a baby I was. But because I popped early, I've had lots of time to feed and am nice and round. Grandma cooked lots of yummy food so mommy had lots of milk to feed me with.

'Hi there Dhan!' As you can tell, both Ethan and I love our chats and time with Grandpa Dhan.

My Farm Holiday

This must be our best holiday yet! Not least cos I got to have lots of time with Dad and Mom. But also cos we had lots of fun moments. Watch Dad trying to sing to me whilst I watch the food on the BBQ. Dad loves his BBQ food, so I have to make sure it doesn't get burnt.

You can tell that I'm no novice at horse-riding. I told him to giddyup a couple of times, but he was under leash. Nonetheless, I had a great time. It's my second time on a pony, another reason why I love Australia!

Milo and I became good buddies on the farm. He came by everyday to say hi and joined us in our excursions. I think it was the smells from the barbie that first drew him to us. Then when we went to canoe, he was our guide through the forest to the river and swam alongside our canoe the whole time. I've missed him since leaving the farm.

Check out our find! A fresh egg, so fresh that it's warm!

Australia sure is blessed to have all this land and beautiful animals. I loved being at the farm. I've asked to come back several times now, we'll have to see.

Pirates

Peter Pan flew into our world courtesy of a book. Since then, I've been torn between wanting to be a pirate and being a postman. Last Saturday, Dad and Mom brought me to a craft show where I got my face painted like a pirate. Unfortunately you can't see my moustache and goatie cos I ate it up with my lunch.

Yesterday, we went to the Maritime Museum, this time I got to go on the pirate ship, shoot a canoon, walk the plank, look into skeletons for clues for my treasure map and even make my own pirate hat (but I don't like the matching eye patch).

In the Kitchen

I think Mom was running out of lunch ideas. So she thought of pizza. Sounds like a lot of work, but with me as helper and that means I'm not creating trouble elsewhere, it was easy!

Mom and I ate the WHOLE pizza by ourselves too! Although I had almost all the pineapple to myself. That's what happens when I get to see what goes into things! :)

Creating and Building

I've just started my fascination with blocks and towers. I love using the blocks that Auntie Jas gave me to build tall towers. It's one of the first toys which I play quietly and at length with by myself, which really pleases mom. And it's one of the toys which give me a sense of achivement- I often shout 'I get it' or 'Good job!' in joy at the end.

Today, mom asked me to try doing the same with the pop-ups. But I did my own design and love it!

Thanks Uncle Lits & Auntie Jas, Uncle James & Aunite Maria and Uncle Kok Keong & Auntie Lilian for all these toys!

Imitating Papa

Maybe it's a boy thing, but I love imitating my Papa. This morning, Papa was shaving and refused to let me have a go with his cool electric shaver. So I made up my own. What do you think?

Mama's note: Later in the afternoon, I managed to get the two men to do a repeat. Ethan just loves his Papa! :)
