Donald got to spend a special day with the kids at the Disney Music Hall thanks to some free tickets from a friend at school! They are a family of four and so there were only four tickets. I didn't mind staying home and the kids loved the chance to play with instruments, learn a dance and then listen to the LA Philharmonic play. The concert was a short version to hold the young audiences attention. Donald said all three kids loved it. After the concert, they walked over to Olvera Street and looked a round a bit. We are so close to LA, but hardly ever go soak up the culture, so it was a good day for the kids to see some new stuff!

Family Valentine Dance
Last night we went to the family Valentine Day Dance at
school. I was taking pictures for the yearbook and I think Elizabeth was
the only one who wanted to go. Wow, did they have a blast! Sarah was
dancing and running around like crazy. Elizabeth danced a lot, but then got
tired. Joshua was shy about dancing at first, but once he got started, you
had to stand back! I'm glad they had such a good time. It was really well
done and I'm glad we went!

her to Disneyland so she could meet Elsa and Anna. Wow, it was magical for
her. First we met up with her little friend, Caytlyn, and we took them into
the snow play area. Then we saw the Frozen sing along show where both Elsa
and Anna make an appearance. It was a really good show and the theater is
set up so beautifully. Then we got to go meet Elsa and Anna. They were so
sweet to her. They signed her autograph book, then they asked her what they
should get each other for Valentine's Day and they let her whisper in their
ears. They spent almost 5 minutes talking to her, which is a lot when there
is a line of people waiting! She was so happy! It was great that I was
able to be there and see them with her. We also got to meet Minnie Mouse
and watch the parade before coming home. It was a very special day!
The kids meet Alex
We finally got the kids over to meet their new cousin Alex. It
took two weeks since one of our kids was either runny nose or coughing.
They loved him right away. Sarah didn't want to stop holding him and even
Elizabeth wasn't jealous. I'm so glad we are all here to meet him!

Pinewood Derby 2015
Wayne, Grandpa and Daddy and he had fun racing it too! He was sad he didn't
win, but at least this year they gave out other awards, not just one winner.
He got the award for scariest car. It was so great that my parents came and
Uncle Wayne and August too, since baby Alex was born just two days before!
Joshua also earned his religious knot, so I was proud of him for that!
