Challenge #4 - Sketch

Hello again everybody....
Welcome back for our fourth challenge. Can you believe it? Time sure flies...

Once again, before we get into our challenge, I'm sure you're itching to know who the winners of our previous challenge are...
Of course, you're all winners in our eyes, but there can only be a "top 3"

Chosen by Random.org, our first place (choice of 3 digi;s) goes to 11. Andrea
Second place, and winner of 2 digi's of choice is 7. Scatty Jan
And third place, winner of 1 digi of choice is 10. Kelly Smith
Well done all, please click on the email button on the side bar and contact us with your choice of images and email address.

Onto our sketch challenge, designed by our very own Audrey.

And just to start the inspiration flowing, our design team have made the following projects:

Margy has used one of the cute Christmas giraffes and made an African Christmas card.

Louise has used "Paul picking flowers" from our boys will be boys range. Bright bold colours work perfectly with this sweet little boy...

Gemma has made a traditional Christmas card in the traditional colours, and picked up on the stars and red berries.
Jen has made a sweet card using the cute fairy friends from our fantasy range of digi's. This really is for someone special...

Debbie has used the September freebie, Primavera along with a sentiment digi. Pretty, patterned paper and lace are the perfect combination.
And Audrey used the Gyps image from "around the world" in the striking colours of red, black and white.

And finally, guest designer for this fortnight is .... me!

I don't think I need any introduction, but I'd love you to visit my personal blog and see what else I'm up to.
Here's my entry to the challenge, using pinks and browns and one of the little freckled-faced cuties...

Now it's your turn. This is a great challenge, so please join us. You have 2 weeks to get your entry in - we close entries on 26 October 2010 (see the time left).
Enter your blog entry below, and remember there's a better chance of you winning if you use a Digistamps 4 Joy image.

Challenge # 3 Think Pink

Welcome back to our 3rd challenge.

Once again, before we get into the challenge, a huge congratulations to our winners of challenge 2 "recycle it". We saw some very innovative creations and many new ideas shared. What clever crafters!

Winner of 3 Digistamps4Joy images: 1. Ellis
Winner of 2 Digistamps4Joy images: 2. Kerstin
Winner of 1 Digistamps4Joy image: 9. Theresa
Congratulations!! Please contact us using the "contact us" button on the sidebar with your choice of images.

Now onto this week's challenge, and idea from Debbie. Considering October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we decided to "Think Pink". We're offering a freebie along with this challenge.
All you need to do is think pink and create any papercraft project, focusing on pink (you do not have to use the freebies, nor do you need to focus on breast cancer, just pink).

To give you that little bit of inspiration (not that you need any), here's a look at what our Design Team made...

Debbie made this beautiful card using the "Gypsy" digi from our store, along with the "think pink" sentiment from our freebie sheet.

Gemma made her card, using an image and 2 sentiments from our freebie sheet, and repeated the hearts in her BP.

JenLee framed the image in this card and combined 2 of the freebie images, by using the "think pink" sentiment on the glittered bra top.

Louise used "Mel waving Hi" image from the Digistamps4Joy store and brought in lots of patterns. Love the embellishments.

Audrey's card is any girl's Cinderella dream. Lots of shoes (using the high heel image from our store)... and bling!

And Margy used Funky Kate from our digi store. Pretty in pink with lots of bling. She is gorgeous!
Some very interesting cards, please go have a look at the DT's blogs to see more details and find out what else they're doing. They are very talented ladies.

Our guest for this challenge is Bettina, from Sigtuna (Sweden).
Mom to two wonderful children - a little princess at 10 months and a 14 year old son, a man who gives me everything I ever wanted. Right now I take nothing for granted. Trying to enjoy life and love as if there was no tomorrow." Visit Bettina's blog to learn more about her love for scrapbooking and other papercrafts.

Bettina has used "Funky Alina" and a sentiment from the freebie sheet. She's incorporated a pink ribbon into her beautiful creation.

And just because we feel this is such a worthy cause, we're giving you this freebie sheet to play with. Click on the picture, which will give you a bigger picture. Right click, save as...

Enter your "Think Pink" creation below. Submissions close on Tuesday, 12 October at 8pm CAF.

Challenge #2... Recycle It

Welcome back to our second blog challenge. Thank you to all our participants in the first challenge. We had some fantastic entries.

Before we get to our next challenge, let's announce the winners.
Chosen by Random.org (and remember you need to enter with a Digistamps 4 Joy image to stand a change of winning).

Winner of 3 Digistamps4Joy images of their choice: 8. Sandi DeFalco

Winner of 2 Digistamps4Joy images of their choice: 11. julie (elysia2003)

Winner of 1 Digistamps4Joy image of their choice: 9. Laralee Ganske
Congratulations to all of you. Please contact us by clicking the "contact us" button on the right column of this page with your choice of images.

Challenge no. 2 - Recycle It!

Our next challenge is to use a recycled item. Thank you to our DT member, Gemma for the challenge idea. Whether you choose to do the card on a recycled item of choice, or use recycled items, or even recycle an object into an embellishment, all we require is that the theme of your project or card is "recycle it". Don't forget to use a Digistamps 4 Joy image to stand a chance of winning.

And now for some DT inspiration...

Gemma
Gemma made a tag using a sentiment Digi (birthdays...stardust).
The buttons have been recycled from old clothing

Margy
Margy made a Christmas cracker using the flower heart stamp.
Lots of recycled items were used in this Christmas Cracker... the gold triangle trims were from a 2009 Christmas Cracker, the gold paper behind the heart from a 2009 Christmas hat, the raised clear acetate (a biscuit container), and red recycled paper

Louise
Louise made a card using the Spring stamp from the 4 seasons range of DS4J digis.
Louise used old plastic packaging for the leaves and flowers and coloured them with OHP pens.

Debbie
Debbie made a card using this month's freebie from our website, Primavera Spring Fairy.
She went for a vintage look and used old telephone directory pages and old book with stiffer pages for the butterfly.

Jen
Jen made a "Granny's Shopping List" box using "Fashion Faux Pas" from our DIVA-licious range of digi's.
An old VHS tape box has been used and it holds sheets of paper with shopping list printed on it.

Audrey
Audrey used the Hippie digital stamp image to make her card.
She emphasized on the recycle theme and used buttons from clothing and twine from one of her children's old school projects

And introducing our Guest Designer for this fortnight's challenge,
Tertia I have been a follower of Tertia's for a little while now, and she makes some fabulous projects. This is Tertia with her Granddaughter.
"I am a Christian first and foremost. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, s sister, friend and teacher. I actually love my job and there is nothing else I would rather do."

Tertia used the Giraffe with Christmas lights digi and made a card and a box.
The box has been made by recycling and old box. The sparkly wool has also been recycled - go and read Tertia's blog and find out where the wool came from...

We hope that has inspired you. Now it's your turn. Show us how talented you are by entering the challenge. And don't forget to submit your Digistamps 4 Joy projects to our gallery.

You have 2 weeks from the date of this post (entries close Tuesday, 28 September 2010, 8pm CAF). See the time left below.
