This week's challenge at Crafty Sentiments is Leaves and I used this gorgeous image called Eating Strawberries, isn't she a cutie?  She's coloured with copics and I created the background using a leaf stamp  and then popped the image on a black panel.

Truly Amazing

Hi all this is a card I made using some leftover bits and pieces as well as an ebay bargain.  I bought this lovely C.C. Designs stamp from Michelle and couldn't wait to ink her up :) She's called Swiss Kerchief Birgitta and so adorable!

Metropolis

Hi all. I've found I need to keep my stock of kids cards up to date at the moment (so many birthday parties!) so here is a young boys card.  I used Paper Smooches Metropolis which I bought from Make the Day Special - was really pleased with them as a shop, they specialise in stamp sets that can be difficult to get over here in the UK so I've bought Lawn Fawn and Paper Smooches sets from them :)

This is quite a basic card, stamped and coloured with copics.

Crafty Sentiments - Girly

Crafty Sentiments Challenge this week is to go girly, and go girly I did! I actually used glitter (and rather more than I intended to as the stickles bottle deposited much more glitter on my card than I wanted.)

I used Kai, a cute digi which coincidently, is on sale at the moment! Don't forget to check out my teammates creations and maybe you could enter one yourself!

Crafty Sentiments Challenge

For Crafty Sentiments Challenge this week I'm using a brand new digi which you can buy here at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  I did the usual, coloured with copics, cut out with my nestie.  I used Papermania paper, the border was cut with a die-namics Dainty Dots border.

A few new creations

Here's a few of my new creations.  For this first one I was inspired by the TSG girls, especially this card by Jodi. I already had an Elzybells flip flop stamp (so can't justify buying another!) I coloured with copics and added a little bling (it is there, honest!)

My second one uses my go to flower stamps from The Crafts Meow. I added a Hero Arts sentiment and created the purple frame by die cutting a Labels 11 nestie and cutting the edges to create the two edges.

My third card uses a new stamp I had from a yummy candy offered by Jane over at  Janey's cards.  I love her style, it's so CAS but always so personal and of course I love her posts, she always makes me giggle :)  Thank you so much for my amazing candy, it was so yummy.
This one isn't my usual style but it was really nice to do something different for a change. I coloured this with my copics while my DD Jess sat beside me and coloured the same image (with felt tips!) and she advised me of every colour choice!  It was really nice to share my 'hobby' with her.  She's getting good but I must get her some flesh tone pens, most of her people end up bright pink!

TSG - One layer with pop

Over at TSG their new challenge is to create a one layer card with a pop - it's difficult to see but my girl is popped up on dimensionals. This image is from the Blossom by Blossom , she's coloured with copics and I finished the card off with bakers twine.

Male card

Saw the G is for challenge over at Cards for men and just had to enter my latest GOLF card! A must in my stash as both my Dad and Grandad are golfers (my Mum too!) As you can tell I was inspired by PTI's framed, I used a Waltzingmouse sentiment and Papermania's golfer.

Summer of Fun Day 1

Hi all and welcome to Crafty Sentiments

'Summer of Fun'

For the next 3 days we're showing you the new cuteness that is the new Primrose and Billy stamps. I adore these little guys :) Then on Thursday we've got a new challenge for you as well as an opportunity to win some amazing stamps!!!

I have chosen to use Primrose 'Riding the waves' for today.  I created the sunshine background using an ink technique that I found here and then popped a piece of blue card which I punched with my Fiskars waves border punch. I coloured the image with my copics, cut out and and mounted. I then did the stupidest thing ever, I decided to use glitter! Don't get me wrong, glitter looks pretty just not all over my desk and, well, me!  I used Doodlebug Designs double sided letters which I then covered in alternate gold and red glitter.

Don't forget to check out the rest of my teammates amazing creations and pop back tomorrow to see another preview of the Summer of Fun stamps.

Boys

Just recently I seem to have had to create  load of boys birthday cards as there are quite a few more boys in my girls' class. So I decided to create a few more for my stash. I've had these sizzix doll dies for ages and the girls have loved creating their own little dolls but for some reason I haven't used them on a card so I decided it was time to try. So here are my creations:

These cards are for the Cards for men anything goes challenge

Crafty Sentiments - Dies and Punches

Hi all and welcome back to another Crafty Sentiments challenge and this week's challenge is Dies and punches.

I have used a load of the new Crafty Sentiments releases. I adore Billy and Primrose and as I couldn't decide which one to use I used them all!  They're all stamped onto coloured paper then I used a square nestie to cut them out.  I also used one of my new dies to create the circle border, took me ages to pop all those dots in so I hope you like it!!

Don't forget to check out my teamates amazing creations and have a go at creating your own  project.

Crafty Sentiments - Craft with a child

Hi all and welcome to another Crafty Sentiments challenge. This weeks challenge is to craft with a child and I loved this challenge! Jess and I sat down and to be honest I had to leave her to it (to get the dinner on!) because she was taking ages because she was concentrating so hard :) So cute! Once she coloured it I helped her pop them on the card and then she embellished them.

Here she is, proud as punch!

And her are her cards - she used Flopsy with flower and Flora

I selected different parts of each of the images and popped them in boxes! Coloured with copics I then popped them on to the card bas which I had covered with a Christmas dp and used my corner chomper on. I added the sentiment by stamping it and cutting it out with the long edge of the labels 11 nestie (it felt like an inspired idea!)

Anyway, onto the last image of the release, Taking a Nap, doesn't he look cute? I like to imagine he's waiting  for Father Christmas and he's fallen asleep, ahhhh :)

Went for a bit of decoupage on this one, so Billy and his teddy were cut out (also meant I could colour the chair red without worrying about the copics bleeding into Billy) I cut out the squares using my nesties and I die cut the scallop border (MFT die-namics) before stamping a Paula Pascual Christmas stamp.
