Our Christmas Tree

Every year my husband and I go and cut down our out tree...its usually over 8 feet tall and packed with ornaments...this year we've had to down size a little since I've been on bed rest. Here is our boys first Christmas tree! Hopefully, next year for their first offical Christmas I can do a little better!

Our Sammee

I almost forgot to post a picture of my great protector. Her name is Samatha but she goes by Sammee. She's a border collie and will be 4 in October. I'm not sure what she is going to think of the babies, we're just hoping for the best. She has become extremely protective of me and often lays her head on my belly...I hope that is a good sign.

Nursery

The nursery is almost done. My poor husband has been working so hard.
His daily schedule...
5:30am: Goes to work
5:30pm: Home from work
5:30-6:30pm: He feeds his hungry wife!! (very important)
6:30-10:30pm: Works on house...we're remodeling! What a wonderful time!
10:30- Showers and heads to bed

He has gotten close to no rest in months. I am so thankful to have such a WONDERFUL husband and good looking too. :)

Anyway, here are pictures of the nursery. We haven't got everything organized yet or anything on the wall but you'll get the idea.

XOXOXO,
Jessica

I had yet another appointment yesterday and everything was great. We have our next growth ultrasound scheduled for Jan. 6th at 1pm.

I just got back from the doc and we're all doing great!!! I love seeing the little munchkins!

Baby A: 2.0lbs measuring at 27w 1 days
Baby B: 2.8lbs measuring at 28w 2 days
Baby C: 2.7lbs measuring at 28w 1 day

They aren't sure they got an accurate reading on baby A because he is so squished. My cervix is 3.8...my peri is extremely pleased with my progress and thinks I'm going to do very well...knock on wood!

Second Ultrasound

We had a second ultrasound and the grandparents were so excited that we decided to invite them...we were going to see the heartbeats! Everyone was settled in the room and they started the ultrasound. My doctor looked at me with a very strange look and said he had some news for us. I thought the worst of course, what was wrong with my babies? His face was pale white when he told us there was three! I thought my husband was going to pass out. My doctor and husband along with all the grandparents were SHOCKED! Did you say....TRIPLETS!

First Ultrasound

Sean and I went in for our first ultrasound and were ecstatic to find not one but two sacks with yolks. We were having twins and everything looked wonderful. We had a second beta test and the numbers looked great! Pregnancy was progressing wonderfully!

Let's have a baby!

When Sean and I decided to have a baby we thought...how hard could it be? I went to my OB for an exam and started my prenatal vitamins. Everyone I knew was pregnant, this was going to be easy! In a couple of months it would be Christmas and we could announce our pregnancy. Christmas came and went twice and still no great news to share.

After turning to fertility treatments and several disappointments we decided to try what would be our last attempt, IVF. The procedures and drugs were no fun but I knew it would be worth it. The 2WW (two week wait) was horrible, an emotional roller coaster! I think I probably bought about 30 home pregnancy tests. I was taking several a day...I know a little ridiculous but I wanted this baby so badly!

I took a test a few days before my doctors appointment to have my beta test and there was a faint line...I just started crying. Sean was sitting at his computer and I couldn't wait to get in there to show him. We were both excited but wanted the doctor to confirm. My beta test came back positive! It was time to celebrate and thank God for all of our answered prayers.
