My little Rockstars!

Today I ran a mini-marathon...or should I say walked a mini-marathon and now I sit on the couch feeling like I have been hit by a train and wondering why anyone in their right mind would WANT to run a MARATHON. I guess I should say that I didn't train at all so I'm probably a little more sore than I should be but...why would you want to run/walk 26 miles. Good for all of you that do but I think I'll stick to 5K's from now on, lol. I MAY try it again next year....I'll let you know in a few days when I stop gimping around.

The boys have been keeping me hopping! They are SO active! They don't want to be in the house and would much rather be going bye-bye. So we have been out a lot.

Here is Cale and his Mohawk, lol. The boys ask for "hawks".

Last Thursday I got home and they all met me at the door saying bye-bye so I loaded them all up and took them to Lowes. I let them each pick out some flowers and we came home and planted them. They LOVED digging in the dirt. I am fairly sure none of the flowers are going to live and more dirt ended up on the ground than in the planter but who cares! :)

Hide and Seek seems to be their favorite game lately. They especially love to cover their eyes and say, "Where's Cale or Colter or Cooper" but I walk in the living room to find this a couple of days again as they all yelled for me.

They are finally getting to the point that crafts are a little enjoyable! They actually have interest in them instead of me doing all the work.

Right before the race for the cure...our little runners!

Flying kites with daddy...it was a disaster but the boys had fun. I think this was the one and only time we got it off the ground...I'm fairly certain I didn't assemble something quite right.

Happy Easter 2010

Its been way too long since I have posted...I have no idea where to start. The boys are HUGE. They are talking up a storm...they are hugging one minute and pile driving eachother the next.

This morning we took them to my MIL's church for Easter and after each song they yelled, BYE BYE! Then during communion they yelled YUUUMMMM SNACK, lol. I almost pee'd my pants laughing. Colter also spent a majority of the service trying to blow out the candles on the alter, we were sitting in the second row. All in all they were very good considering they are 2 and they sat for an hour and a half.

I had been trying SO hard to keep them healthy for Easter and I almost did it! Cooper woke up at 5am with a fever...we were so close to being healthy for a holiday. He was a trooper and did really well but he was ready for bed at 6:30.

After church we had a little egg hunt. Cooper and Cale were our champs!

Colter liked to run by them and say, "there's one" but didn't want them in his bucket. He finally figured it out but still prefered to open them on the spot, eat the candy and then throw the egg back down.

A few from the past week...
I made lasagna for the first time and the boys loved it.

I hope you all had a great Easter!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my little men!

It seems like just yesterday they were 3-4 pound little babies and now they are talking, running, jumping, climbing, destroying, fighting and the sweetest little boys EVER. All three of them are SO different and I just can't describe how much I love them!

Cale born at 12:54p, weighing 3.9lbs. He is a momma's boy but his best friend is Melmo aka Elmo! He is the most vocal of the three and loves to sing and dance. He says about everything and loves to sing his ABCs (we're still working on it but he tries). His favorite word is probably WOW! His favorite food would probably be chicken nuggets. He is the least picky of the three.

Cooper born at 12:55p, weighing 3.12lbs. He is so easy going! He loves to build things and draw. He's going to the artistic one...maybe an architect. He almost always can be found with his trusty magna-doodle in hand. Cooper is always smiling and willing to give you hugs and kisses. His favorite word is Uh-Oh and he is a big tattle tale! I always know there is something going on when he runs to me yelling uh-oh mommy...no no no while pointing in the direction of his brothers! His favorite foods are pancakes and oatmeal!

Colter born at 12:56p, weighing 4.4lbs. He has an iron will! He is both a Mommy and Daddy's boy depending on the day. His favorite thing to do is follow his daddy around and do everything he does! He loves tools and knows just about what all of them are and what they do. He LOVES puzzles and can put one together faster than me! He also has a weird obsession with the vacuum cleaner. He is the pickiest eater of the three and hates to get his hands messy while he eats.

They are such amazing little boys and I feel so lucky to be their mommy! They are saying something or doing something new every day. They are fighting one minute and hugging the next. They are absolutely growing up too fast.

I will post some pictures tomorrow...I am competely worn out from all the playing we've done today!

Happy Birthday Cooper, Colter and Cale! Your Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!

Busy Busy Busy

December was action packed. The boys LOVED Christmas this year and were so cute! I got up early, made breakfast and waited very impatiently for them to get up. They were still sleeping at 8:15 and I couldn't wait one more minute. I woke up three very grouchy little boys but as soon as they saw the tree and presents they all immediately stopped crying and said WOW! It was priceless!

Sean has been working away on our basement...thank goodness, we need SPACE! It's crazy how quickly toys multiply and the walls start closing in! We were hoping to have this done before winter was over so Molly our nanny who we LOVE LOVE LOVE wouldn't go crazy and quit!

The boys have been helping daddy on this project and its so cute watching them mimic him. They are learning all kinds of bad habits...aside from the obvious boy bad habits they like to carry pencils in their mouths just like daddy.

Operate drills and anything else they are supposed to:
(notice he is even putting the screw on the end)

Climb ladders:

Use hammers:

Among many many other boy things! :)

Saturday we wanted to get out for a bit so we took the boys to the Children's Museum. Cale drank some disgusting water from this water table...yummy...hope we don't get the flu again!
The sand table was a HUGE hit as always! Although, I almost knocked another mom out who kept taking toys from my kids! Who does that??? I'm sorry your kid is bored with that toy but mine have been here for 5 minutes and are still playing with that! My boys could have taken hers. :)

Then of course there is potty training, oh the joy. The boys love sitting on the big potty to the point there are major fights and I cry, lol. Sean was very proud of this picture of Cale reading the Jeep magazine.

And last but not least look a the yummy treats I made! Aren't they cute?? Maybe one of my New Year's resolutions should be to become more domestic....nah, lol! They were actually very easy to make and I started to perfect my process about half way through also just about the time I got tired of making them so rushed to finish but all in all very easy! Let me know if you would like the details.

Well, back to work I go! I hope all of your holidays were wonderful!
