im back~
went melaka this weekend.....actually can consider as a resting weekend...but seems not leh....coz didnt get to rest much....=_=!!!
friday was cny lunch in the office...got oishi pizza lar...got old chang kee lar...got sakae sushi lar...got lao yusheng of coz....also...got alot of leftover food lor...so he brought back hme to let his family eat...haha....
always go melaka..always last min got things to rush...make myself so gan chiong...yikes....next time hopefully got better time management sia.....=P
anyway, by the time reach there....almost 11 liao....so tired and sleepy liao....but went to eat satay celup...kekeke.....yum yum....usually dun like satay in singapore de....the sauce too...but i tink this is nice....the satay at melaka is nice....=) satay celup is similar....the food are all put into satay sticks....then there's a pot of satay at the middle of the table to dip and cook the food de....food includes hotdogs lar....crabsticks lar..cockles lar...kangkong lar...ladies finger lar...kekeke....alot of variety...i tink the nice part is i just throw the food into the pot to let it cook lor...hahaha...=P but ppl say its not clean...coz eating other ppl's saliva mah...true lar...but who cares =P his parents ba...haha...coz frm wad i notice....his family....eat every meal at hme....then will have a spoon for each dish....we dun use our own spoon and chopstick to take the food de....wah seh~ that i have to control lor....coz i always just take the food lidat mah~ =P
saturday morning.....wah seh....they every morning drink "shen cha"....ginseng tea i tink...a small teacup de....every morning leh! hahaha.....steady bo~ anyway, his mum is a full-time housewife...pei fu pei fu~~ i tink the family so xing fu lidat....eat liao no need wash de...tink no need do hsework lor...haha....coz the mum do everything...frm the preparing of food..to the cooking...to the washing...wah seh~ got pros and cons lar....haha....anyway, sat morning breakfast was bread....lunch and dinner at home too...home-cooked food.....and they eat a meal can eat quite long...coz they chit chat mah...=P i tink very different frm my family lor...haha...but home-cooked meals are always very nice lar....maybe i lack of home-cooked food lar..kekeke...
also...got to eat my fave satay.....hehe...i onli like melaka satay....so far....=P dun like singapore de.....
passed by this funfair...but didnt go in....coz i figured will be quite sian....and there's alot of ppl too....everywhere we go....its driving here and there lor....more convenient....
sunday...his fren wedding lor....its at a school hall....and the place is like 45mins ride from his hse....went to pick up his fren....then head there liao....bumpy ride...coz the road not smooth de....on the way back still raining somemore....worry for him driving in the rain leh...haha....
the food there was rather normal.....got those mix mix platter for starter.....then got herbal chicken...fish....vege...prawn...standard lar....but i tink different frm singapore is...there is no rice or mee....hehehe...usually singapore wedding got a dish of fried rice or maybe gultinous rice mah....but they dun have...=P then we were waiting for last dish..dessert....but weirdly....it came in boxes...haha...i tot wad...its ice cream....Lucky brand de...hahaha....cone.....but the biscuit cone "lao hong" liao.....cheh~
wanted to go to the beach after coming back frm the wedding....but i guess im too tired...i actually dozed off in the car....=/ went back to rest lor....then went his grandma hse for dinner...wah seh.....the family is so "re nao"....the relatives will meet up de...then the women will be cooking....then eat in batches de....wah seh~ 2 round tables....1 batch = abt 8 to 10 ppl lidat....got 2 or 3 batches ba~ imagine the ppl there....
after dinner....wanted to go try the satay that he said its nicer...but shop nvr open again...drove around and tinking what else we can eat...hahaha...went to a place and tried the sambal stingray and fried sotong and also ordered a burger...hahaha....we were tinking...ppl walk pass must be tinking these 2 ppl siao liao....eat so much....wahahaha...
monday....the day to come back singapore liao...we took the 2.30pm bus...so lunch at hme again....his cousin came....naughty cousin sia....but very fun to play with.....only 3 years old yet know how to "talk"....dear dear was saying that she couldnt remember his name for 3 years...but she can remember my name....within 3 days....hahaha.....but maybe she will forget when i go the next time ba~ hahaha....
overall...i enjoyed the trip....wished that i can stay longer...the life there seems more relaxed lidat....a good place to relax and eat eat eat...hahaha....jialat..im missing the satay and satay celup there liao....addicted leh....jialat....anyway, was hoping maybe my frens can go visit...but cannot too many ppl....coz 1 car cannot sit too many ppl.....but i tink they wont come de...coz they say say nia...wahaha.....coz he's frm melaka..so ppl tend to say "eh...then next time u can bring us arnd at melaka liao".....so...just listen listen lor......
back to work....is boring~ haha...must control the food intake liao...=/
