Can't wait for SPRING!
Who says that in the beginning of Fall? Ok, Skye can't wait for Spring Soccer! We got her a pink soccer ball, and Oma and Opa got her some cleats! She's all ready. I'm pretty curious to see how it goes... 3 year olds playing soccer? It's been such nice weather that we've played lots. We really need Aunt Sadi out here coaching her!

Skye's New New House
Skye calls this the "new new house" because as you know we are building a house right now, and that is the "new house". Therefore, this must be the new new one. She had more fun eating the frosting and candy, than actually decorating the house. She loved watching us do it, and was more than thrilled at how it turned out! I am glad that kids are so easy to please!

TIME OUT!!!
Am I just heartless, or do you also think it's adorable when your kids are in time out? Skye does awesome in time out, she just goes straight to the corner and folds her arms. I pretend to be mad till she's solid, and then I just watch and smile. Check out those calves! What a doll!

Insane in the Membrane!
Robbie and his insane brothers decided it would be fun to make a slip'n'slide... this is what you get when the Dias Brothers do a slip'n'slide. Check 'em out!
Big Air
Our favorite pass-time this summer has been boating. Robbie's dad gave the boys the boat this summer, which means tonz of outings! The first couple weeks they went almost every day! Skye and I have loved surfing and just hanging out! Notice no pics of me, Robbie's always driving the boat, but I get huge air too! :) Ya right. Robbie is getting really good at the Air Chair!
Not a wipe-out, just the joys of the Air Chair! :)
Robbie's BACK FLIP on the Air Chair! Skills!

We had a way fun Young Women's Campout this last week. We went up to one of our Mia Maids cabin on Kolob. What a fun way to feel the spirit and work on Personal Progress. Good food and Good friends. Skye loved hanging out with all the "big girls"! Thanks again Strattons!

A Hiking First for Skye
Ok, so this insn't Skye's first hike ever, but the first time she hiked by herself. Let's just say she's not a born hiker. We probably made it a 1/2 mile up the trail when the girls were ready to be done. Well, at that point we still had a 1/2 mile back to lunch! I think next time we will bring lunch with us so the hike home is still fun! Overall, it was good to get out and enjoy nature with the kids!
Pre-Hike Happy Faces! This squirrel looks innocent enough right? WRONG! When we got back to our picnic table, we spotted this little guy inside Jessica's bag! We got closer to try and take a picture of him inside the bag, but scarred him away. Not for long though, soon enough we saw him munching the PB&J he stole out of the bag. A few minutes later, enjoying some Fritos!

Our Mini Surf-Pro
I want to say "Check out Skye, she rocks!" but I have to say Check out Robbie! Can you imagine how hard that would be? First getting up with her, and having neither of you strapped to the surf board. Wow! Skye loved surfing.

Our California Trip in JUNE!!!
We went to Oceanside CA with my fam, which was a blast! My parents decided that would be fun because Colby got home from Canada in April, and Trent leaves for Argentina in September, so we all loaded up and headed. They stayed at our house Thursday night, and then we drove to Cali Friday morn. Skye thought it was a long trip, but we had fun with her. Here are some of her thoughts!
Six Flags Baby!
So, at Disneyland, the characters weren't a huge hit with Skye, but for some reason she loved them at Six Flags. Possibly because she hasn't seen tons of Disney movies, but she watches all the old Looney Tunes at Opa's house! It was way fun, she would just run from one character to the next! We didn't get tons of pictures of the rides, but here are a few, and the video is MORE THAN WORTH IT! I'm sure you've ridden a ride similar. It's a big boat that swings back and forth and really takes your stomach. Skye rode it 7 times! She loved it, and the operator loved her. Whenever we rode, and there was someone scared, he would tell them to watch her and they wouldn't be scared. We rode at the very back, the most scary seats!
Skye and Grammy
She even hesitantly hugged this scary guy! Who is he anyway???
