in a desperate attempt to get a proper tan , i've managed to convince the mom to invest in proper poolside deck chaise loungers for the balcony . unfortunately , the sun has only appeared once out of the three days that i've owned the chairs .

caught two thirds of harry potter at the gala premiere but had no idea what was going on so i didn't enjoy it as much as i thought i would . . then again it could be because we were seated third row from the front . thoroughly enjoyed the pop corn and the ride home . : )

my grandmother bought us lunch at the club today , and before i dashed out i grabbed a couple of shots in my garden . the dress i've managed to only wear a total of two times after falling in love with it in hong kong ( five years ago ! ) . i can't quite figure out how to dress it down to go out on the town short of wearing it as such ; plus , it's incredibly long sans belt , which makes it a chore to walk in . alteration is out of the question because the way its done makes it near impossible to alter without damaging the dress altogether .

it's the size of my palm ( minus finger length ) and is super duper kawaii .

in other news , i went to get a trim and ended up chopping most of my hair off by mistake . not my mistake , but my stylist's . i was a tad bit hysterical at first , but i think it's grown on ( off ? ) me .

she doesn't eat meat that looks like meat , but she eats chicken nuggets . she doesn't eat rice , but eats noodles occasionally . she loves fruit , but doesn't eat anything from the melon family or anything that contains the word ' melon ' in it ; berries , nectarines and peaches are a favourite . she doesn't touch grapes . she won't drink anything hot , but she'll drink soup " just for a taste " .

i've been re-reading my dark-hunter books , eating + watching lots of the asian food channel when i should be job hunting , dieting + watching less television . in between doing that i've also been babysitting and baking .

i have a mild obsession with sherrilyn kenyon's dark hunter books . . i only wish that someone would catch on and make them into a tv series or movies . . they sooooo trump twilight anytime .
