so i've been gone awhile because i updated safari like a good little mac user , and then apple went and fucked me up . i just got the laptop back on monday and spent the whole day re-installing everything from microsoft office to adobe creative suite . i'm back online and keeping my fingers crossed . here's the weekend ( minus the eve pictures ) .

if you haven't heard the latest , sam ate a worm ( or many we can't be quite too sure ) in her morning cereal . she started screaming and puking but she's all good now . it makes for great reunion anecdotes . hahaha .

long distance relationships really suck ; they break you down and wear you thin . if i were rich i'd fly back home to see you . if we were in the year 3000 , i'd teleport . but since we're neither , all i can do is wait for you to come over in june .

morning rituals are never to be broken because they're there for a reason - to educate . so this morning i learnt from AUS style that awesome denim brand ksubi have revamped their dodgy website that really served no purpose at all . it was one of those sites that just looked pretty , told you to call a 1800 number if you wanted to satisfy your ksubi fix and that was pretty much it . no new styles , no information about the designers , nada . nilch . zip .

i present to you : ksoogle . looks , acts , functions like google except that it's ksubi's website . confused ? it's darn brilliant i think . go poke around . i promise it'll be fun .

in my head : sweat shop - neon neon

ten hours of sleep is never enough . i still feel like i walked a million miles carrying 200 pairs of louboutins . camberwell last sunday yielded a whole bagful of goodies - 5 clear shoe boxes ( $3 each ; they retail for $12 ) ; a vintage yellow dress ( $10 ) ; a military jacket ( $20 ) ; vintage black and gold cropped jacket ( $6.50 ) ; supre cream strapless dress ( $4 ) . it ended up raining half way into the trawling , a dramatic end to a rather eventful morning . i'd done most of my shopping so i'm glad the weather physically stopped me from creating an even bigger dent in my pocket .


i didn't want to give this up even though the temperature is dropping over here . the neckline , semi-puffed shoulder and hemline are just way too pretty . i figure i can use this when i head home to work , right ? (excuse the appaling fashion faux pas of a dark coloured bra under a light top , i was way too tired after that morning of shopping too bother about tiny little details )

after watching cashmere mafia and seeing lucy liu's black/gold ensembles , this definitely belongs in my wardrobe .


i've always loved black and gold but this takes my obsession to new heights . :]


only 7 episodes . what a pity . i would've continued watching just to see the outfits . the jacket that inspired me to grab the one above is in the far right bottom corner . i couldn't find out who it was by but you guys are free to have a go at it ! it appears in episode 6 :]

i'm kind of stocking up on jackets because i've realised that now that winter is fast approaching , the only thing that folks will get to see is the outerwear . so hit me up if you see something cute and utterly desirable that you think i must have . ps : don't tell dopez though . he's my conscience ( and he does a bloody good job of making me feel guilty ) .

it's all in the details . * i've gotten so many compliments ! these skirts are great basics . i'm completely grateful to childhood flames for the tutorial . folks who share are most definitely going to heaven . haha

i am an avid fan of your products . although i think that they're horribly overpriced for basics , i still do purchase your gorgeous pretty things . i am weak . however , i really do not understand how you justify charging your loyal customers $61 for a pair of footless over the knee dual toned stockings . i'm really hoping that it is a typo of sorts even though the website states that it is $61 too . i'm really looking forward to hearing what you have to say . cheers !
