I think it's time for a baby update!

24 weeks
"Mrs. B, your belly is gettin biiiig!"

I hear this EVERYDAY, at least three or four times from the same little student. It was cute the first time. That was two months ago. I've even told her that my belly is not going to stop growing until the baby gets here. I reminded her that we didn't need to say that every time we came to class. Then I stopped and reminded myself that if this little girl had the ability to remember things long term and to appropriately process information, she probably wouldn't be my student in the first place. I try really hard not to give her an evil look when she says this but I'm only human.

On a bit of a serious note, when I went in for my last monthly check up (two weeks ago) my doctor was alarmed at my blood pressure. 144/99! Yikes! That is WAAAY to high for someone who is only 22 weeks pregnant! I was put on meds and told to check my pressures everyday and keep a journal of them. I went back today and while they have dropped significantly, they are still higher than she would like to see......fabulous.

Sooo, while at work, I've been very busy trying to get paper work completed and meetings held ahead of schedule just in case I have to leave early. It's getting a bit hectic. I'm trying to remain positive but when your doctor asks you if you have your maternity and short term disability ready, a girl tends to worry a bit.

If you all get a chance, say a little prayer for us (especially my baby girl). She has a lot of growing left to do before I want to see that sweet little face.

Also, keep Justin in your prayers. He works very long hours and then has to come home and do all the house work. Ava and I are so lucky we have him to take care of us.

My two cents

I had to post my thoughts about tonight's B@chelor because my husband is not here for me to gripe to. I also realize that no one asked me but it's my blog isn't it? Here goes......

Al*- I don't believe you, I just don't. I do however believe you are a huge drama queen.

T!nley- A lyrical dance? Really? Really? Anyone who knows me knows that I danced for many years and knows the respect I have for the art and for those who are able to do it well but this was just a tad bit cheesy don't you think?

And Finally,

V!enna- J@ke, put down the crack pipe dude!

I have not watched even one episode of this silly show since Andr3w Fir3stone. Now, I remember why.

Leaving on a jet plane.

We're off to the great state of Utah because we haven't had enough snow around here these past few days...:) At least I'll have something to blog about when we get back.
