Changes

The changes I refer to in the title are nothing exciting I'm afraid, just the new blogger interface.  As a creature of habit I think it may take me a bit to get used to but hey-ho.  Anyway back to the news, I will be happily celebrating my 3rd year blogaverssary (sp?) very soon and as tradition dictates there will be some saucy stash up for grabs!

A quick little something today as I had my Sahara sand card stock out I couldn't help using it again mmm...  I will be entering this over at Crafty Catz (Spring), Creative Card Crew (Spring) and Sweet Stampin (anything goes).  Have a great day and see you soon x

Stamps: petite pairs and notably ornate.  Ink: whisper white and soft suede.  Card stock: Sahara sand, lucky limeade, regal rose, pink pirouette and baja breeze.  Tools: itty bitty shapes punches, bird builder punch, extra large oval punch, designer frames embossing folder, mat pack and piercing tool.

Home, home on the range...

... where the dear and the antelopes play, oh I do love a good musical lol! (doubly good when it ties in the theme of my card too hee!).  I made this especially for the fun challenges going on over at Lets Craft and Create (colour challenge - it's really yum) and A Passion for Papetrey (home themed).  I had forgotten how gorgeous Stampin' Up!s soft stone is - love it.  Well have a great day & see you soon x

Do it again

I know I really should put these papers down - but I can't!! they are so lovely.  Have been toying with the idea of making something like this for class - we'll see.  Anyway my mind is filled with a million things I'd like to make for the upcoming craft fair season but probably won't lol! but I must make a start.

Mother of mine

I can safely blog about these as they now reside snuggly on my Mum's sideboard.  I would have just posted regardless in the past as my Mum doesn't have a computer but her sister has just got herself a I-pad and shares all the news lol

Morning!  hope you had a nice weekend, I enjoyed a lovely sunny day here in Swansea and got spoilt rotten on Mother's day.  Couldn't not mention the Welsh rugby team and what a fantastic grand slam win they achieved - very tense game (to say the least).

Stepping out

Oooh look at me and on a Sunday too lol!  I just had to squeeze my very first stepper card for the challenge over at A Passion for Papertrey (pop of colour).  Gonna be quick as I am hoping (*wink) that I am being spoilt rotten on Mother's day.

When will I be famous

Well my plan for crafty world domination is a step closer lol!  I was asked about a month ago by the editor of Papercraft Inspirations if she could publish one of my cards in their 'beautiful blogs' section.  Well I was so happy (to say the least) and have been waiting for publication day which was a couple of days to see my work in the glossy mag.  A small and very happy start which I hope may give me courage to actual submit some stuff - eek!

Anyway back to my ribbony card which I will be happily entering over at Cute Card Thursday (birthday's) and Papertake Weekly (one for the girls).  Have a great weekend everyone & see you soon x

That's life!

Indeed that's life and it does have a habit of chewing you up and spitting you out sometimes lol!  Well I am fully recovered and rested and back with some craftiness for you.  I have been mostly playing with ribbons lately for this months 'ribbon' class where I will be showing many different ways to use up your ribbonny stash.
