I'd like to teach the world to

Craft!, not to worry ladies attending my class today, it won't be to sing lol!  Yes happy class time again for me today - oh I do look forward to it so much :D  A busy few days ahead, what with the St David's day craft fair at Swansea Waterfront Museum on Sunday - LOVE IT!

This card started life not as a card but as a mask to sponge ink through onto another card (I will risk a photo of it soon in between showers).  You can still see the faint smudgings around the aperture on this which I love and so had to turn into a card :D

Have a great weekend everyone x

Bad apples

I know, but I couldn't help myself as once my 'tart & tangy' set was out I had to play some more.  There was going to be a trio of fruits (orange from my other post here) and a lime one but I ran out my my favourite stitched ribbon and couldn't complete the mission.

Hope you are all well and see you soon x

Bonkers!

Not to worry, I am not scarily making my Christmas cards - eek! can you imagine? but I confess that time has got away from me this week.  What with being on hot dogs and refreshments at my sons valentine ball and prepping for an upcoming craft fair and my monthly class.  Happily this little one was tucked away in my cameras memory and not in my broken computer - phew.

So I do apologise for inflicting a Christmas card on you - maybe some of you haven't recovered form the frenzy of cards you had to make but I am back in the swing of posting on a Friday and I thought it was shame not to show anything!

Have a great weekend everyone xx

Daffodil lament

Even though I only made this card last week, it has it's roots in the reason I stumbled upon card making.  You see I always struggled in getting welsh cards for my Mum, especially for Mamgu (Grandmother) and so decided that I could make them!  Happily four years later here we are knee deep in crafty stash and enjoying the pleasure of crafting more and more everyday.

This particular card though is headed for a St David's day craft fair on Sunday 27th of February at Swansea Waterfront Museum.  Happily I will be also entering it in to the stitching challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday.  With an added tip of mine which I found very useful, is to use your matted piece of card or paper as a guide when using a  zig-zag stitch to keep your line straight (although admittedly I have gone skewiff a bit lol!).

Have a great day & see you soon x

Blank page!

Well it is almost a blank page!  This has to be one of the most minimalistic cards I have ever done.  I was looking for an uber quick male card and wallop after a quick wonky and faded stamping I was done lol!  I think I will do a few more as my male stash is soooo low.

Have a great weekend everyone - I'm off to Mammy's for dinner - yum!

Supplies:  PTI take note stamp set, birthday bash sentiments, kraft card stock and various buttons.  Ink: Stampin' Up! basic grey.

Ebony and ivory

All together now! "live together in perfect harmony".  Oh I know it's cheesy but mmm I do have a soft spot for that song :D  A thank you duet for my brother-in-law today on fixing my poorly PC recently.  Together with a couple of bottles of cheeky vimto and a huuuuge packet of his favourite choccies - giant buttons!.

As you can see along with the card I also altered a notebook to match and although you can't see the inside it has the most gorgeous vanilla and faded black grid lined pages inside - divine.  Happily I combined the gift with the current challenge of any old challenge over at In Love With Stamping.  I picked stitching, but to be honest I am hard pushed NOT to stitch everything these days lol!

Have a great day & see you soon x

My paper heart

Good morning, how was your weekend?  wild and wet here in South Wales.  Great fun at a new crafting venue though, the revue studio is usually a dance studio with pictures of elegant ladies in leg warmers doing extraordinary things with their legs.  I took me back the days when ever little girl dreamt of stardom and tutus lol!

A colour combo challenge for you today over at In Love With Stamping, using the gorgeous pear pizazz, perfect plum and baja breeze.  Had a little extra fun with Stampin' Up!s colour spritzer tool - oh I do love the squeezy magic it affords a crafter hee hee!

Have a great & see you soon x

I hear you knocking!

and that's exactly what my son is singing as he hangs this on his bedroom door!  He does thinks he's cheese with it though.  A little something different for you today, this month's design team challenge was to create a door hanger thingamabob and Karin (wondrous leader over at In Love with Stamping) very kindly made a PDF and SVG file to download.

It was a real treat to make something for my boy and as I am usually drawn to ribbons and such, which for some reason my son has no interest in he was thrilled to receive it.

Have a great weekend everyone and see you soon x

Supplies:  Stampin' Up! chocolate chip card stock, chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon and basic black ink.  Basic grey archaic range papers and chipboard.  Delight thickers and dymo label machine.  PTI tea dye ink, orange zest button and fillable frames #2 stamp.

Material girl

Hello world!  well probably a small handful of faithful chums and my husband lol! but good morning to you all.  We kick off February with a design team card for In Love with Stamping.  The challenge is to use fabric on a project and as I happily love to make brooch cards and had the tutorial from a very talented lady here I was good to go.

Goodness was I jammy to have a near exact match of Stampin' Up!s rich razzleberry in my felt drawer to make the brooch.  Hope you too can have a little play with some fabric and come join the fun over at ILWS.

Have a great day & see you soon x
