Radio City Buffalo/Cleveland 2008

I'm on tour again with Radio City and luckily Doug has been with me for most of the time. He's in LA right now for a few weeks but will back on Sunday. It's been a great year and I have been fortunate to do some fantastic parts in the show. We've made some great new friends as well.

The Nutcracker in the show...I'm the green ballerina on the left

Me and Michael before the opening number

We have 3 and 4 show days every weekend and this is a picture we took in between the 3rd and 4th show one Saturday....it's miserable but we have fun!

We're shepherds in the nativity and these are our sheep.....so fun!

Me and Michael, the stunt Mary and Joseph (we are the stunt doubles for the real Mary and Joseph in the nativity....I ride the donkey on stage and Michael holds the reins)

I'm the robot doll in the toys section...no I can't really see anything out of that helmet!

While we were in Buffalo we went to Niagara Falls. It's awesome but it was so cold!

Our friend from our first ship contract, Heather, came up to Buffalo from New York to visit and see the show.

Europe with Kelli!

Last week Kelli came out to cruise with us. Thanks to the friends on board program with Holland America we were able to get her on for free! We had the most amazing time showing her some of our favorite places.

Kelli flew into Athens. We stored her luggage at the train station and went straight to the Acropolis.

The next day was Istanbul.

This is a Cistern that was built underground and sits right next to the blue mosque. There are fish swimming in the water...it was really strange but so cool!

Sitting in a really cool Turkish restaurant enjoying a potato!

Doug and I decided to wait until Kelli came to see Ephesus in Kusadasi, Turkey. It made it really special because none of us had been there. It's an amazing city that was built in 600 BC and completely covered with gravel until it was restored. Now you can walk right through the city and it was so cool!

This is the cute lady that sold us all of our jewelry. She was really sweet so we had to get a pic with her.

We are so happy Kelli was able to come out and experience ship life with us. We had so much fun and wish that everyone we know and love could have done it too. (Yes, you were all invited!)

Sicily, Venice, Athens, Istanbul and Mykonos....a few more pictures

A few more pics of some of our favorite places that we have seen. We are so lucky that we get to see these places more than once.

Taormina, Sicily

One of the streets in Taromina

Hanging out in the Northern Lights on the ship

Sailing out of Venice we always get great pictures.

Clubbing in Istanbul!

The fun shopping area in Istanbul. We went and saw The Dark Knight at a theatre on this street and an hour and half into the movie they took an intermission. It was really funny and kind of annoying.

The Pretzel guy!

The Turkish Bath we went to in Istanbul....we wore swim suits but most people go in the nude and you literally get washed! It was crazy but just had to try it! You go in this huge room made entirely of marble. It's really hot inside and you just lay on the marble in the center of the room until your giant Turkish "washer" wearing only underwear comes up and scrubs you down. We got a little soap massage and they exfoliate your entire body and it really hurts. What an experience!
