We went down to California for our nephew Colton's baby blessing Labor Day weekend.
Friday September 4 started out pretty chaotic. Devon's boss told Devon late Thursday night that he needed him to ship some product down to San Diego so it would get there on Friday. Devon drove up to the airport at about 6:30 am-ish Friday morning and found out their plan was not going to work. So, Devon had to go to the store, buy some luggage, pack the product in the suitcases, and fly down to San Diego. Devon woke me up at 7:45am with a phone call. He said, "Uh, you need to start driving down to California." I was surprised because our plan was to leave after he got done with work on Friday afternoon. I ended up leaving my house at 9am for the long SOLO drive down to Orange County. I got there at 5:15pm--not too bad. Devon rented a car and drove up to his house. He only beat me there by about 2 hours. As soon as we got there and I thought about driving back in two days, I asked Devon if I could stay longer. I found a $99 flight on Jetblue and it was a done deal. He was so sweet to be willing to drive back by himself and let me stay and play. I loved hanging out with Shira, Colton, Sharla, and Mark, Tanner, and Devin when they were around. Here are some pictures of the fun.

We went down to San Clemente on Labor Day. It was awesome except that my whole backside got FRIED!

Later in the week we had a girls night out. We ate at Cheesecake Factory and did some shopping.
On Friday we went to Huntington. We just laid out and relaxed. Then we went to lunch at Johnny Rockets
