North Carolina Teaser

Devon and I flew out to NC along with the rest of his family and my brother James and his lady friend to party with my family at the lake. My Grandparents own two homes on White Lake, side by side, and we stayed there for a week just playing and having a blast on the boat! We spent one day down in Myrtle Beach, SC, where my Uncle Aaron and Aunt Caroline live. It was tons of fun and we hope to make it a yearly tradition! I don't have time to cover our whole vacation just yet, so here is a little teaser for now. :)

Janice Rae Draper

My Grandma Draper passed away last Monday. She has been sick for the last year, but it was still somewhat of a shock to most of us. The doctor had said she was getting better but things suddenly took a turn for the worst.

Her funeral was yesterday and the services were beautiful. We cried, hugged, smiled, and laughed--it was perfect. Granny left behind so many wonderful memories. I will miss her so much, but I know she is in a better place where she can rest free from worry, sorrow, and pain. I can't wait for the day when we are all reunited. Highlights

First...my Dad's highlights! Haha! I LOVE this picture. He's such a goof ball. My dad was in town for a couple weeks and it was so great to hang out. He made us some awesome food--tacos and his world famous baked beans! Yum! I get to see my whole fam (except Will who is on a mission) in four days! Whooooweee!

Mark And Sharla came to visit! We went to Park City and did the Alpine slides. It was so fun!

Good Things Goin' On

I feel proud to say that my father-in-law, Mark, still likes me after I practiced drawing his blood. He actually said he didn't even feel it, which made me feel pretty good! It's so weird because I have always been scared of needles and grossed out at the sight of blood... but not anymore! I'm turning over a new leaf.

Next Wednesday I leave for North Carolina followed by Devon and the rest of the family--James, Mark, Sharla, Tanner, Shira, Devin, and Colton on Saturday. I'm so so excited. As of last week the Dicksons weren't going to come, but we got a call from Shira saying they were booking their flights. What great news! I couldn't believe it!

So many neat things are happening. I feel like a have so much to be grateful for. I'm especially thankful for Devon. He is seriously perfect. He is the BEST husband. I love him so much and I feel like a pretty lucky girl to be his wife.
